Not really. That mathematician role is no different from his other roles in that he was brilliant, and eccentric.
The bolded is correct, what I meant tho was his delivery, emotions et al. He was no where near his Sherlock Holmes portrayal.

He played a different range in the imitation game tho.

But you agreed with a clown that said the movie is over hyped.

It's right there in the first sentence of your comment.
So because he said the movie was over hyped every other point he raises becomes invalid huh

Yes I did, check out the post I quoted, he raised some good points.

JeromeBlack:
Some people are experts at analysing nonsense.

Let me drop some few facts.

1. Technically, all marvel movies are fan service movies given the added numerous Easter eggs shown in each movie for comic book fans. Just look at the amount of stan Lee cameos.

2. If a product is over hyped, it simply means that its features were exaggerated and did not meet its expectations. Only a liar or a dumbass would claim that Avengers endgame did not meet expectations

A. It gave a nice ending to the current Marvel cinematic universe.
B. It was an interesting film that kept our attention for 3 hours.
C. It ticked all the elements of a superhero movie. Crazy Superhero fights. Super evil villain. Gripping science fiction. Redemption. Etc

3. Thanks to koicereloaded, I understood that avengers endgame is a summary movie- it is the movie that ties the cinematic universe to an end. Therefore, it is going to be a different movie from its predecessor, infinity wars. It is going to focus more on closure, than the events that caused chaos and brought our heroes together. Once you understand this, the comparison to infinity wars would be more nuanced.

4. While Endgame and the dark knight are both superhero movies, they are very different. The dark knight tries to ground itself in realism with a gritty/dark main character in a gothic city. Avengers endgame embraces the science fiction and is more upbeat. Both are award winning movies. Note that Endgame would have more awards.....
God, dude I didn't even say anything negative about the movie.

friendlyadvice:
grin grin grin KoiceReloaded don kill me oooooooooooooooo so classix like

Civil war,Avengers Assemble and Winter Soldier(I won't even add infinity wars to the list cause that is on another world of its own) are fan service movies? They didn't have solid stories that tied up the extended universe and developed the well written characters despite the different hands that touched the other movies? now I know you are pulling my legs

How can you say that? didn't you watch infinity wars? can you compare thanos and doctor stranges character development, the unification of the GOTG , avengers and the sorcerers, thors and a more matured rockets adventure to get the storm breaker etc can you compare all that to..............time heist?

You see? even you know that the movie is overhyped
Say no more, reality is lost on some folks here.

Granted endgame was epic, I got multiple Goosebumps from several scenes, even the 10 seconds all female faceoff with thanos gave me mad chills and I kinda liked captain marvel in the movie, but with that being said I only regard it as a visual spectacle and a nostalgic ride, the stakes weren't that high and the apprehension was almost non-existent. It won't be held in same regards as the dark Knight.

Furthermore, the movie was more about human emotions and what it means to be human (as compared to AI).
The best thing about the movie is the dialogue between the main character (the geek) and the CEO.
It's also about a man and his creation, like the tale of Frankenstein.
TV/Movies › Re: What Movie Are You Watching Now? by losprince(m): 1:11pm On Aug 12, 2019
Ex Machina 9/10

Put a vagina on anything and man will fall in love with it.

A sex starved intelligent young man definitely wins a lottery to spend one week in the estate and association of the self isolated CEO of the company he's working for (a dominant search engine company, processing about 94 % of all internet searches), on getting there he is inundated to discover that he will be carrying out a Turing test on a humanoid robot called AVA.

To massacre a long story short.

Things go smoothly at first, but along the line feelings start to fly and emotions get in the way of logic and our man can't get his mind off the beautiful and intelligent robot, which leads to some grave mistakes and an ominous culmination of events.

A science fiction based on ideas and ideals but still possessing stunning visual effects and an encapsulating story, although I will say the ending was rushed and could have been done better, it can be overlooked as every other aspect of the picture was magnum opus.

The Silence of The Lamb.

Evergreen. Masterpiece.

Fun fact: Anthony Hopkins won an Academy award for the best supporting role, and featured for only 17 minutes in the 2hrs movies, making his Hannibal role the shortest Oscars winning role in the history of Academy Awards. #Boss

8.2/10.
A census-taker once tried to test me. I ate his liver with some fava beans, and a nice Chianti. cool

Agent Starling. Enthrall me with your acumen. grin

Filled with great dialogue and no ham-handed scenes.
A gem of a movie.

I swear the disappointments of past seasons is enough to plant such doubts in our minds. For instance take Arthur as a case study, boy was hyped to ecstacy and compared to Xavi but couldn't even bag up to 5 assists last season.

It is with a heavy heart that I announce my dis-participation from next week's pfp after a woeful first week attempt, my heart goes out to all my fellow comrades whose tickets have faced the wrath of the inglorious spaghetti monster, so I have decided to stay out of the race next week and I wish everyone that will be participating the immunity which the gods did not grant me.

What makes the movie so nail-biting is not the acts of violence (there were not much to begin with) but the promise of violence and evil. It lurks in every scene, like fleeting shadows enspied from the corner of your eyes.
You couldn't have said it better, I found the movie to be like poetry and I honestly can't remember the last time a movie scared me like this one, movies like the Exorcist and the shining were like comedy to me, but Cape Fear gripped me in fear.

Cape Fear-

Powerful movie. Absolutely brilliant.

These lines gave me goosebumps:

"I am like God, and God like me.
I am as Large as God, He is as small as I.
He cannot above me, nor I beneath him, be."

The dialogue is deep, the theme thought provoking.

*shiver* embarassed

One of the most terrifying films I've watched, Robert de Niro was borderline monstrous.

She uses the bat cave, steals Batman's tech and suit, uses the bat symbol and dresses just like Batman....and then she said "I won't let a man take credit for a woman's work".
And the Batman suit is not perfect until it fits a woman grin

That trailer is so bad I wanted to throw up.
It had one central message.... Man bad woman good.
You've seen it amigo, that trailer is basically an SJW and feminist propaganda cringe compilation.

And I love the Animal Farm reference you did. cool

There is already a batwoman series and it's the epitome of sjw, she is feminist, lesbian, misandrist, her gay partner is black and all that greaseball shit that comes with it. Watching the trailer alone is enough to give one a nose bleed.
