this does not answer my question. i already know expired domain and how to filter but d main problem is what must a domain have to be a good domain that will bring money in 1 parking 2 selling.
please provide answe to d two.
normally a good domain must have PR 3 upward to be a good domain dt will fetch money what else
please answer 1 and 2 separately

it has to have high traffic and it should represent a product, business or service...

Neocotez:
Its a good one, I don't recommend asking people what they think about a domain that you are tracking. next time I'll buy it before you do

Again don't invest what you can not afford to loose on domains

I wasn't intending to buy it, I just wanted to know if I could spot good names already. Thanks bro

OkwaIfugo:
What's the website of your hosting company?
I need everything open here. Because I once had a terrible experience with a nairalander before.

I was paying for vps not knowing he uses my money to pay for us own huge number of sites.

When I stopped paying his online business vanished...

I need to build a forum and I am soo serious about it...

I need details of good Nigeria hosting and their prices/categories.

Thanks.

check out this thread https://www.nairaland.com/849563/web-hosting-companies-nigeria-contact I haven't hosted with Nigerian companies before so I can't recommend one to you... but whogohost.com have been running ads on nairaland for some time and they seem to have some reputation, please check the hosts yourself, it will keep you better informed.

Just keep restarting your phone and change ur location

Posted with simple server for android.

OkwaIfugo:
Thanks so much for the explanation.
Your 150,000 does it go with hosting and what type of hosting... If not you have to be flexible a bit with your price... Hope you know say Buhari never pay salary to DG workers ni.

it doesn't go with hosting. I can be flexible with the price but I need to know what functionalities your forum will have... quality comes with a price you know. I will handle even the designing to give it unique look and feel.

OkwaIfugo:
Still waiting for offers... Pls give details description and price here. Thanks.

hello there, the cost of hosting your forum will depend on the hosting provider you choose but I will recommend hostgator.com . They have services ranging from shared hosting to vps and dedicated servers, go for the shared hosting if you are just starting out and if your forum will be small, as time goes and when your forum grows you can switch to a vps or dedicated servers to better suit your needs. If you have a deep pocket though, a dedicated server seems to be the best.
Please visit hostgator.com to learn more, but if you need an estimate of how much hosting a forum will cost...
Try 29, 000 naira per year on vps
260, 000 on dedicated servers
And 14, 000 on a shared hosting

As for the cost of building the forum, developers charge depending on the functionality needed by the client. My lowest starting point is 150, 000 naira. I have the skills to design amd develop your forum, waiting for your reply.

Klaus sure knows how to intimidate, imagine telling Tristan he will make him cry in front of his friends and that wolf sound he made when entering and leaving was so dramatic.

Lucien: oh my god it's a room full of Elijahs... lol

ZinoFego:
If your installation got stuck, please take these steps to alter some files and then run the installation again.

1. Go to C:\Program Files\Ampps\www\JoomlaTraining.
2. Click on the Installation folder, then sql folder, then mysql folder
3. Locate joomla.sql inside the mysql folder and open it with a text editor.
4. Press ctrl h, it will pop out a tab, type engine=innodb in the find what section and type engine=myisam in the replace section and click on replace all, wait till it replaces d command and the save your document and close the notepad.
5. Restart your system.
6. Re-run the Joomla installation again.

thanks a bunch bro, this worked

Guys have any of you encountered this issue whilst installing joomla? It gets stuck on creating database?... I encountered it on version 2. And 3.4.4

seunoni34:
I understand where you're coming from, I'm also bad at design so you're not alone. I can write css etc but can't put things together to look good. I spend weeks doing design after few days of PHP coding, because it's what people will see at the front end that matters the most.
So I resort to this technique, that might help. Go online and look for templates /similar websites with simple layout (so it won't be too complex for you ), you don't need to download the template, just copy the layout and create your own design from it using css frameworks.
I hope it helps

thanks for your time, thats exactly what I'm doing now.

guys this name solarinvictus.com is expiring in 23 hours as at the time of this write up, i did a research and found two end users and they both sell solar panels and offer solar solutions one is solar-invictus.com and the other is solinvictus.co.uk. i don't intend to buy this name cuz i am low on cash now, so anyone who think is worth the investment should try it out.

Chibenze:
LoL. I taught i included that part of my ebook above.

I bought the name for $18

Expire domain auction is different from expired domain (pending delete).
For example: if a domain expire some one has some days or weeks to renew it, it is during that time registre auction the names as expired domain auction.

But when a name has pass the renewal period, going to pending delete that is when it has expired.

Actually i dnt know how to explain better. Hope u understand my point.

please any Guru in the house should explain better.

Am still learning

you seem like the only guru in the house, thanks for the ebook sir. Very insightful

Chibenze:
i have finally writing an ebook free. enjoy

where is it

seunoni34:
Nice backend and database architecture just that the frontend is very poor.
I advice you get css frameworks like foundations zurb or bootstrap or mdl to spice up your front end. People always believe websites that looks good works well. It's a psychology, and you need to create that impression.

hi seunoni34 I appreciate this review very well, thanks for taking your time to write it.. about the front end I just thought all it needs was a control panel structure since only the hospital staff would be using, pls if u have screen shots or links that could help I would appreciate it. Though I am working on improving the system, I just dont have a design beast in me.

Feedback would be much appreciated and I would gladly answer any questions you have.

I don't understand the game, seems cool though

download the zip file here: http://www.filedropper.com/hms unzip it and save a copy in server's root directory.

stanvesco:

i will be posting a link to the download page shortly
