A man with information can never be clueless... As they say information is the key... Now to the topic,Two things are involve in yOur pLight:

1, your course of study.
2, your grade.

As an average nigeria, we were made to understand that some course are maketable while others are less maketable when it comes to labour market jOb hunting. But i tell you irrespective of your course of study but with a good grade you are good to go. We have seen cases where people who read professional courses not even working in discipline related to there course of study.

My advice for you MR happybirds is that don't be perturbed or weary of your present predicament. A mere certificate which is a product of your academical input cannot foretell how your future will be. It goes beyOnd it an example is our amicable president which even having a waec certificate was never stated in his biography. How much more of some one with bsc (you) and university experience.

Save up enough money now that you have the opportunity in your nYsc programme, cut cost, set priorities when spending, spend with wisdom, and your *NEEDS* should be considered more than your *WANTS*.. Also Improve your self, learn a skill or hand work.

With the money acquired from your nysc just start up a small scale business it might be a cybercafe, trading, tailoring(provided you have already learnt it), or you can also run a msc programme and other elementary programme to futher improve your cv.

Note: never state in your cv that you are a third class holder. It disqualifies you instantly.
