Just to add to this, both vehicles are great vehicles but if you get the mdx be very careful where you get fuel for the vehicle, very important

Please my Hyundai Elantra 2017 just goes off in motion without any warning but comes immediately back on like nothing happened when I restart it. The car doesn't overheat. And it drives normally after going off. The first time it happened, I was in traffic for a very long time and I felt that was it. But it has happened two more times in the space of 1 week. What could be the issue and how can I solve it?

I want to upgrade my 2008 highlander to 2012 any advice ?

I’ll advise not to do this type of upgrade I’ll share below, if you ply bad roads often from my little experience they end up dropping and they aren’t too strong.
Also be careful who would do this upgrade when it comes to your vehicles headlamp wiring.
But if you’re doing the normal 012 upgrade I don’t think you have any issues

Yes when the sensor in the key shifted, it was taken time to start, after several trial till we noticed the cause,

Is there away to clear the error code?

Then for TPMS, is it replacement or repair?

For the startarbility malfunction, if the issue has been sorted out, just clear codes on ignition, for the TPMs fault it’ll need change and programming

Good evening gurus. I have this code on my acura tsx 2004.

The car revs up and down when this code is triggered and looses power.

You have issues with your throttle body since it’s a performance code I’ll suggest cleaning of the throttle plate it might be very dirty if that doesn’t work and electricals are fine throttle body would need replacement

For the TPMs codes the vehicle can’t read data from three of the sensors, most likely would need replacement and programming
For the startability malfunction, was there anytime the vehicle cranked longer before starting, from my experience fueling issues
Would cause this or any factor really that would make the vehicle crank longer than expected

Either really, first you need to scan the vehicle to ascertain why they are turned on, if you are in Lagos I could do that for you

Body part would be an issue if the need arise, if you really need a fully optioned vehicle why not go for the highest trim EX-L/Touring

Boss what of C300 4matic Benz 2015 model, it's a 2.4l in line 4 engine, how's the durability and maintenance of it. Is it a good one to go for whether through toks or neatly naija used

Those engines don’t do to well here in Nigeria, it had a design flaw and our fuel further accelerates its death leading to catastrophic failures ( most times the engine block is seriously affected and a replacement would be needed) and it isn’t cheap also, get a C400 instead

Hello good afternoon sir.
Basically both the rx300 and highlander are great reliable vehicles if a good unit is found
Reliability and Longevity - both have very similar drivetrain the rx300 of the said year uses the 1mz engine while the highlander uses the 3mz, the 3mz engine is more recent and of-course would implement better technologies which would help with fuel economy and all

Maintenance- Honestly, no major difference, they are maintenance friendly, but please maintain them well because big part can be expensive

Fuel consumption- they’re both v6 engines and if you’re coming from a 4 cylinder you’d assume they consume more fuel but really they don’t for their size

Comfort/Space: the Lexus is more refined and has a better interior/ the highlander on the other hand wins on cargo space and some even offering third row options

Usability in 2026- they’re both old vehicles and of-course some things are inevitable such as high mileage, oil consumption ( common for both, but can be managed ) and wear and tear, but really they are both Toyota and can really last for a long time if properly maintained.
Finally between the two, I’d pick the rx300 only due to your budget, if you could increase it a bit I’d go with the highlander

For other vehicle choices to choose from I’d suggest the Honda CRV
- it’s has a very reliable drivetrain
- incase you’re really concerned about fuel economy, it uses a 4plugs engine while still giving you space and ride height you need from an SUV.
