Culture / Etymology And Facts You Don't Know About Martial Arts by Louisicon(m): 11:04pm On Jan 13, 2019
The etymology of Martial art which is said to have many origins. According to evidence by legendary martial artist, it is believe to have originated from East Asia. Many ancient book linked the origin of Martial art to the spread of Buddhism from ancient India during the early 5th century AD, with the figure of Bodhidharma, to China. In the early 1550 I'm Europe the term Martial art is derived from Latin to mean “arts of Mars.

Romanian God of war “Mars” (myth) has some attributions to the origin of Martial art dating to 2nd century AD, He was second in importance only to Jupiter ( the god of the sky and thunder and king of the gods in Ancient Roman religion and mythology) and Mars was believed to be the most prominent of the military gods in the religion of the Roman army. It was also believed that the Yellow Emperor Huangdi (legendary date of ascension 2698 BC) introduced the earliest fighting systems of Martial art to China. The art is practiced all around the world and is not gender selective but has some differences in the way it is practiced by different tribes round the globe.

Martial art also referred as Kung Fu which is an act to be trained in armed combat with weapons such as pole-arms, bladed weapons etc. Training in martial art with one specific weapon can be a style of the art to a specific set of people; in Japan one can discipline in sword or staff as a martial art practitioner and is termed Kenjutsu and bojutsu respectively.

The chronicle of freedom.........

"Together we travelled on the voyage to seek the island of comfort....then came we 2gth and chose men to lead...
In the middle of us voyage, then knew we the highmindedness and haughty of the human spirit....they who we chose to lead took us men as slave...."we be equals,we be freeborn...cried we all days...weep we all night" but they made themselves gods to the we among,the sinple they deceived and loot ye our purse,their belly they made fat, their fart they delight us with....Until the veil be removed realize we that our freedom depends on the actions we decide.....
unveil me ye ,cried us to our fellow, when the veil be removed realized we that in unity and oneness brake we able the chain of bondage......
we took the monster among us and crucified ye him( self gratification hail men him) and installed as chief selflessness"

Africa o arise
its time that nairaland should help we poet to promote our works because its the hidden voice of silent ..

My val

My heart is like a singing bird
Whose nest is in a water'd shoot;
My heart is like an apple-tree
Whose boughs are bent with thickset fruit;
My heart is like a rainbow shell
That paddles in a halcyon sea;
My heart is gladder than all these
Because my love is come to me.
Raise me a dais of silk and down;
Hang it with vair and purple dyes;
Carve it in doves and pomegranates,
And peacocks with a hundred eyes;
Work it in gold and silver grapes,
In leaves and silver fleurs-de-lys;
Because it is val. Of 2014
Is come, my love is come to me.

Happy val my love :

i will be sending this to my girl...

I will val' you

Love, it's a special day;
We should celebrate and appreciate,
That you and me found something pretty neat,
And I know some say this day is arbitrary.
But, it's a good excuse,
That I love to use mary,
I know what to do baby,
I, I will val' you,
I'll love you
.
Love, I don't need those things;
I don't need no ring,
I don't need anything!
But you and me, cause in your company,
I feel happier, so happy and complete,
And it's a good excuse,
That I love to use baby.
I know what to do baby
I, I will val' you
I'll love you,
So, won't you be my honeybee?
Giving me kisses all the time
Be mine

Be my valentine.

Christmass eve

With memory lingering on my mind,,,,i thought about harmattan and the wild wind,,,,,

But all this was because we are now on december,,,,,,the season that even the infant remenber,,,,

The day Jesus was born with no pain,,,, and nothing was going to wet the bed not even the rain

Every one filled with happiness and joy,,,,and even all kids now has a toy,,,,

The day that we christians hopes for our redemption,,,that is certianed with no assomption,,,,

Every pot is on fire making delicacy,,,,even foes now have intimacy,,,,

All because of white christmass,,,,and all domestic animals are domened to pass,,,,

All the air filled with firearms,,,,its light refflecting back with diffrent coulors,,,,

Chorister singing with angelic voice at the church,,,,the reverend watches them from the couch,,,,

Poeple sleeps that night wearing a gaint smile on there face,,,,hummingslient night
with one pace...

Merry xmass nairalanders

October 1
Its october first ,the ceremony we all together remembered is here like a warder waddling at the prisoners gate.

Since october 1 1960
our independent existed because our heros resisted
the turbulent of the white hunters

The day in which the horror ways of our heros
has walked is to be remembered one after the other

The day no worker is to work,all the children walks down the street with more luck eating sweets and candy.

Our independent was assured but we indivitual is not free, why ?

kiss of my angel

they were a soft kiss that he felt on his lips.

The kiss was gentle and made him fell warm.

The kiss made him fell safe and secure.

Just for the special seconds he had her in his
arms.

Even then this angel who kiss him disappeared.
He knows that deep in his heart.

He had a kiss of an angel in his heart.
