Always stay out, The biafra struggle has been on right from the end of the first republic, it didn't start a year ago. So get your facts right.
huh Nobody said it started a year ago. I said it wasn't at a fever pitch until after the failed elections.

So it was all good a year ago but now we can no longer stand this contraption? We gotta do better. These old men are going to take you all for a ride. And all that Jewish talk needs to cease. Those Israelis sold us by the boatload a few centuries ago. Furthermore, I keep seeing a bunch of guys with white wives pumping that Biafra talk. Don't be surprised when they try and recolonize you. I can't Igbo Kwenu on this one. Count me out.

Nice write-up.

All those foolish people in Ohaneze Ndigbo should come and read this.
In fact, that group should be disbanded and banned.
The writers captured perfectly, the situation of things in Nigeria.

And like I said in one of my earlier posts in response to Ezeife's rants, the Igbos have not appointed anybody as their spokesperson.

None of these self-acclaimed Igbo "leaders" have the interest of the Igbo nation at heart. They rather prefer to dance to the tune of whichever power that is in government in order to enrich their pockets.
Any silly old man can now come out and form one group that pretends to be concerned about Igbo well-being in order to further his/her political gains.

I just wish our Igbo youths shall rise up against these disgraceful "elders" who have no shame, who lick up their vomit anyhow and feel no remorse in mortgaging the future of whole Igbo tribe in this our country.
They, not even other Nigerian ethnic nationalities, are our real enemies.
Tell it like it is!

Nice write-up. My grandfather was an Ozo. My great grandfather was an Ichi with the scars over his eyes. Seeing the mass proliferation of red caps has been a head scratcher for years but this article and many threads on NL have given me solace and clarity. Props OP.

Every nation or empire that has accepted homosexuality into law God has destroyed. Life appears to be going on but war is coming, God is sending storms to destroy the wicked, or do you not see the severe weather gripping the planet, as we speak?
From Rome, Japan, Greece etc all have fallen. This new paradigm of Western Homocentric decadence will be their downfall. Props to OP. Dr.Umar Johnson speaks facts. Africa will never accept the homo deathstyle of gays.

I am not a fan of PMB, however, I have not faulted his appointment of the new GMD. I am only pointing out that the man seems not to understand the refineries deep enough. He is talking too much as a Professional in the Oil/Gas. Notice that CEO/MDs of even IOCs do not go to the press often. No they don't.

Believe me, for PHC to work close to installed capacity, you need lots and lots of money to invest in it.

In another news, he has given WRPC a 90D ultimatum to come onstream. This isn't too good. Any Engineer who knows any of the refinery will honestly tell you that that ultimatum he gave is not correct.

Do you know that a even small crack of 100mm length on a pressure vessel that you may not see with your eyes may shut down your plant and may take you weeks to find the problem?

I am being sincere Boss...may Nigeria be better!
I'm no expert so I respect expert opinions. I can't refute what you say due to my lack of depth in the field. I'd like to believe that my oga is on the money with his assessment.

In terms of his constant press coverage that seems to be the hallmark of this regime. I don't mind it. It gives a feeling of transparency. It's like in sports if a coach is yelling a player that means the coach still cares but when the coach is silent that's when a player needs to worry.

We are warring in the same fight. Let Naija to be great. Much love comrade. May our generations grow and prosper.

I haven't said so. But the ExxonMobil Vice Chairman is a Lawyer. Did you see anywhere where it was stated he ran a process plant himself? If PMB appoints me to serve, I shall gladly accept to serve my fatherland.

Now, the GMD may be good in administration but not as an Engineer who has experience on the field. He needs to be taken through the process. Engineers need to seat him down and explain the process one by one. After all, engineers are not difficult to manage. Do you think so?

Much respect Boss!
Once again, so there is a man who has been in the industry for some donkey years, been appointed by an administration that has against all odds unseated the former government, tasked itself with turning around the fortunes of the world's most populous Black Nation, afterwards is being scrutinized for every breath it takes and you the think the man appointed to helm the nation's most valuable sector is unaware of any part of said sector?

For all our sake may you be incorrect in your analysis. But if you are in fact correct and happen to be that thorough I'm not joking when I type this may you be appointed to get the job done. I've said it before I don't care if coconut people from the continent of shea butter get appointed as long as we are in a position of thriving.

From all in dicayions you want Naija to be a better place so may it be well with you and yours. Peace fam!

My dear LoveMachine, I appreciate your comments. It is frustrating to all Nigerians, especially to us who know the O/G Industry very well. For you to have a PHC Refinery that will produce close to full capacity, you need close to that amount of money. But the truth is that the government can not commit that kind of money. with less than 10M USD committed to the TAM of PHC, it will fail again soon.

May God help us all and keep Nigeria moving forward.
So you're saying that you know better than an ExxonMobil Vice Chairman? More grease to your elbow. May you get an appointment from PMB.

Woman Who Denounced Her Nigerian Citizenship To Become Spanish Insults Igbos

By Igbo General Assembly Spain

Igbo General Assembly (IGA) Spain hereby condemn in strongest terms the series of hate speeches and posts going viral in social media directed towards Igbos in Spain by one Mrs. Helen Mukoro (Helynn Harper). Mrs. Helen Mukoro in her articles posted on facebook and other media outlets accused igbos of bringing bad name to Nigeria. She wrote that all Nigerians in Spanish jails are Igbos, that Igbos never put off their eyes in quick and dirty money.

Contrary to her claims, the assembly reiterated that Igbos in Spain and the world at large have always been peaceful, law abiding, blessing and light unto the Nigeria nation and the entire human race. It regretted the dissemination of "malicious and derogatory" rumours which the assembly see as serving solely to involve the tribe in baseless scandal. Mrs Mukoro is not only insensitive, she has displayed her ethnophobia, racial and tribalistic naivety towards Igbos in Spain and the world at large.

IGA is saddened by these articles, some of which are intended to cause harm and to incite hatred, the only aim of which is to implicate the people in supposed infractions that have not been the case. It is surprising that such hateful attack is coming from a woman, from a section of a tribe that believes in making money through prostitution, human trafficking and it's related ritualism. Undoubtedly she is also involved in these nefarious acts.

This same woman claims she is now a lawyer and is contesting for the office of mayor in the Spanish city of Denia and she believes that the best way to run her campaign is by inciting hatred against an ethnic group. Such a person has no place in a democratic world and do not deserve a public office.

The IGBOS have worked hard to build their credibility in the world community. We are outraged that such irresponsible allegations were made by the likes of dubious Helen Mukoro(Helynn Harper). Mukoro tell the people of Denia how she came to Europe and what she has been doing in Padova,Italy before she came to Spain.

It is important for us to separate facts from fiction and point out the numerous discrepancies in the allegations laid against the leadership of the Nigerian mission in Spain by Mrs. Mukoro.

Firstly IGA is not in position to speak for the Embassy, but we must remind Mrs. Mukoro that Nigerian Embassies are not tribal institutions, rather national establishments saddled with the responsibility of catering for the needs of Nigerians abroad and representing Nigeria in the host country. Nigerian Embassy in Spain is not exception to this. In the past three years, Nigerians in Spain have witnessed changes for good in the way the embassy treat Nigerians. Citing reference to the case of a Nigerian who was illegally deported without due process, the embassy compelled Spanish authority to bring him back and till date he still lives in Spain.

Secondly, the case of two Nigerian families who their children were seized by Spanish authority, through the dynamic leadership of her excellency at the embassy they were released and sponsored them back to Nigeria.

Finally, the case of a Nigerian woman who was murdered by her Spanish boyfriend or client in Bilbao, the Embassy stood tough until justice was served.

All the people involved in the three cases above are not of Igbo descent, so how can someone in her right mind say that Nigerian Embassy is favouring one particular ethnic group?

The dissemination of these false allegations is irresponsible and absolute display of stupidity and ignorance, therefore Mrs. Mukoro owe Igbos unconditional apology.

Signed.
