samuel42: Hi everyone. Please I have an urgent question.
Can I remove a job from my work experience in my profile post-ITA and just leave it only in the 10-year personal history? For context, the job I want to remove doesn't add any mark to my CRS score as the other jobs there make up more than 3 years, and the only reason why I added it pre-ITA was because I honestly thought it was required to list all your jobs in your profile, and now i am having a hard time getting a reference letter from the company. So can I remove it now from the professional experience but indicate it in the personal history and attach an LOE?
Thank you. thanks |

yingman: Canada evaluates you mainly on work experience, age, language score, and proof of funds. Your degree helps you qualify for Express Entry but does not increase your chances as much as strong language scores and work experience. Your degree does not need to match your job. IRCC cares about your work experience and language scores, not the field of your degree.
At 41, CRS drops a lot. A job offer used to give extra CRS. That rule is gone. LMIA still helps you get a work permit, but it no longer boosts CRS.
Right now, French is the strongest lever. If you get CLB 7 in French, you unlock: • Federal French category draws. Lower CRS cutoffs. • Ontario French stream. No job offer required.
You can run both plays at the same time. Study French for TEF or TCF, target CLB 7. Apply for jobs as a technician in Atlantic and rural provinces.
If an employer bites, enter through work permit. If not, French gives you a path through Express Entry or PNP.
Do not overthink the degree. IRCC accepts any degree if your experience matches the NOC you claim.
Focus on French and your work history. That is what will move your file. Thanks for the detailed explanation. Please what is LMIA ? |

Hello my people, I’m a currently based in the middeast with my wife and a baby. I’ve been working here for a few years as a technician with hands-on experience in: IT cabling & network setups CCTV and security system installations. I have security system certification from an institution here in UAE. I am also aood in electrical installations.
Academically, I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Humanities, but most of my work experience is technical. I’ll be 41 years old by march 2026, and I’ve managed to save about $27,000 USD to support our relocation plan. My goal is to move to Canada with my family, ideally through a pathway that allows me to work directly or through a provincial nomination (PNP). I’d appreciate advice from anyone here who has followed a similar route or successfully relocated with a trade/technical background: Which provincial programs currently favor technicians or general trades?
Would it be wiser to start with an employer-sponsored job or go through Express Entry + PNP? How much does my humanities degree help in improving CRS points or eligibility? I’m really serious about making this move the right way, so any recent experiences, recommendations, or tips will be appreciated.
Thanks in advance! |

Hello everyone,
I have some inquiries regarding my younger brother's admission to a master's degree program in Brandenburg, Berlin. I would greatly appreciate your assistance in addressing the following questions:
Block Account: My brother mentioned the requirement of a block account of 11,200 euros. Could you please provide more information about this and its purpose?
Combining Work and Study: Is it feasible for international students to work part-time while pursuing their studies in Berlin? Are there any specific regulations or restrictions to be aware of?
Monthly Earnings: What is the typical amount that a student can earn on a monthly basis through part-time jobs in Berlin? Are there any recommendations or insights regarding finding suitable employment opportunities?
Affordable Accommodation: As a newcomer to Brandenburg, Berlin, where can my brother find affordable housing options? Are there any specific websites, resources, or areas to consider for finding cheap accommodation?
Health Insurance: Which type of insurance is recommended for international students studying in Berlin? Are there any specific insurance providers that offer comprehensive coverage at reasonable rates?
Any assistance or guidance you can provide would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance for your valuable insights! |

Yamiriflathead:
Although disappointing Tinubu tried to hold Lagos with the figures he pulled so far. Lagos is the Capital of Southern Nigeria, so what were you expecting? This was a fight between ibos+SS+woke yorubas against Tinubu supporters in Lagos who are mainly yorubas and maybe Hausas in Lagos.
I hope Tinubu and yorubas have learnt a bitter lesson from Lagos Elections not to befriend and feed a cub because it is homeless, hopeless, and dying. It will grow up and eat u up someday.
I'm happy yorubas can now sit down and ask qtns as to how they got everything wrong and redress it with BAT as President.
The take home from this defeat is..
Yorubas need to stop drafting non yorubas into the civil service and stop giving them prominent appointments. There are always technocrats who can always fit into any political office from the SW
Yorubas need to stop selling their lands to non yorubas in Lagos and SW
Yorubas need to stop giving out local government of origins to non yorubas in Lagos
Yorubas need to stop allowing non-yorubas contest for Elections in Lagos or SW
Yorubas need limit the numbers of voters registration of non yorubas going on in Lagos, they care so much about Lagos and don't care if their homes rot, Henceforth let them go home and vote. They can't come and dictate to you on how to govern urselves after creating an enabling environment for them to thrive.
Contain them politically, Period!
Congratulations to the incoming President of Nigeria BAT the ASIWAJU of Lagos for winning the most Free and fair Elections since our Nascent Democracy nothwitstanding And people actually liked this racist post you just spewed out? |
