nwaanambra1:You guys were making super intelligent aspersions compared to TANoids. It was too uplifting. I learnt from you guys. Massive congrats to you too. |
docadams:The persecution has made the history sweeter and feels even more well earned. In 2011, I was in the minority support for GMB. Never thought a day like this would come. Be proud of yourselves. That is enough to forgive the Ngwa man |
jingh:We made it madame.... We did. |
Caseless:I see you.... Hahahahaha |
I can't help but mention mod Ngwakwe. I know he has hurriedly opened a thread to congratulate GMB but we cannot forget a man for his antecedents. That guy banned us no be small..... It was a constant tug of war. LRNZH, 1LRNZH, ILRNZH, LRNZHkeed, etc etc... All monikers to beat Ngwakwe's antics. The guy just didn't want GMB to win so that the next round of oil blocks will be awarded under GEJ's govt. Any post on the missing $20Billion, PTF, Economic mismanagement was a ban risk. For me, my job online is done, but our jobs as Nigerians is about to start. All the best comrades. |

Kano streets were thrown into celebration, Tuesday evening, ahead of the declaration of Buhari as the winner of the 2015 presidential election. Tens of thousands poured into the streets, including women, dressed in the national colours celebrating Buhari’s victory. A long motorcade of volunteers also entertained curious onlookers with life threatening displays. Commenting on the celebration, a Kano based Human rights activist Ahmed Soron Dinki commended President Jonathan for conceding defeat. He said that Buhari’s victory is a clear indication that democracy has come to stay in the country. “I salute the courage of opposition party members for thier effort in changing the political shape of the country. I believed Nigerians are matured enough politically now”. http://www.vanguardngr.com/2015/03/buharis-victory-celebration-erupts-in-kano/ |
Barcanista is an attention seeking narcissist. All he was doing was to garner recognition from APC....as denoted by his mail exchanges with Gbawe. Once he didn't get it, he felt he could use his new found popularity on NL (eg NL person of 2014) to get a position in PDP. I guess it has all failed now. It is a lesson for us Nigerian youths to stand for something beyond selfish aspirations and not to waiver in our beliefs. I hope Barca has learnt. |
Etizz:You may not care about Nigerian politics but the outcomes of the happenings in it will impact you or you family. You better get enlightened and educate yourself. |
https://newsrescue.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/05/Kenneth-Minimah-360x225.jpg The Commanding Officer, 195 Battalion (Rear) Major M. S. Adamu has been arrested and detained at the Headquarters of 4 Brigade officers’ Mess in Benin for refusing to cooperate with the Peoples Democratic party (PDP), Board of TrusteesT (BoT) Chairman, Tony Anineh. Tony Anenih had reportedly ordered Major Adamu to use his boy to provide cover for the rigging of the votes in Edo State, an act he refused but landed him into trouble. He was detained on the orders of the Commander, 4 Brigade Army, Brig General Laleye for not taking orders. http://newsrescue.com/military-commander-detained-in-benin-for-refusing-to-co-operate-with-pdp/#ixzz3Vw0T7jV3 |
Etizz:Haha ... We are freedom fighters. |
That's all for today. More results will be released tomorrow Tuesday, March 31, 2015 cc: Lalasticlala, Ishilove, Maclatunji, Obiniscopy, OAM4J |
Imo and Plateau added. |
Dollarjunkie:The argument here is what cut-off to use. 1. I have not seen these results before picking 1:15 especially that of Kano and Katsina. 2. Instead of you to note and comment on the generally very high ratios in the SE, you are busy arguing about differentiation and integration. How is that pertinent to the discussion we are having here? 3. Imo is a state that does not flag off on this list. Am i biased with Imo? I expect you to be more objective than the tantrums you are throwing. |
Back to the grind. INEC is back. Starting with Akwa-Ibom. |
Dollarjunkie:Do you understand what a ratio of 1:15 in this context mean? For every one vote by one candidate the other gets 15 votes. In Enugu State, every GMB vote got almost 40 votes for GEJ . Even Katsina (GMB's home state) could not replicate anything similar to this. Your 1:1.5 is not a logical cut off my friend. You need to sit-up and stop arguing for argument sake. You should see the movie- The Imitation Game on Alan Turing and The Enigma. It (amongst other themes), highlights how statistics could flag unrealistic outcomes. |
The SE states are standing out from the results released so far like a sore thumb with humongous ratios! |
So far, it is 4.2M GEJ to 7.6M GMB. A ratio of greater than 1 : 4 means the 25% is not reached by the losing candidate. |
Updated with Kano, Jigawa, Katsina, Kwara numbers |
oweniwe:That is not true. The unofficial results for Kano 1.9M for GMB to 200k for GEJ; and Katsina 1.7M to 98K are not in the ratio that we are seeing from Enugu (officially) and Rivers (unoffically). I am waiting for the official numbers to complete this analysis. It is clear and transparent. |
Mods, kindly mark this post because this is an example of the kind of analysis we should be looking at to understand this year's elections results. cc: Lalasticlala, Ishilove, Maclatunji, Obinoscopy, OAM4J |
While looking at the numbers just released by INEC so far, Enugu stood out for recording a ratio of 39 GEJ votes for every GMB vote cast. The SE and SS states stand out from the rest of the country in the INEC released data. I will update this sheet as INEC releases the results. My feel is that anything at or above a ratio of 1 : 15 (whether in favour of GEJ or GMB) should be scrutinised (flagged in red font) for authenticity. Any calculation errors are mine

https://media.premiumtimesng.com/wp-content/files/2013/03/obama-and-jonathan.fw_.png The American and British Governments have issued a stern warning to Nigerian authorities, asking them to jettison any attempt to distort the outcomes of Saturday’s presidential and national assembly elections. The U.S. Secretary of State, John Kerry and U.K. Foreign Secretary, Philip Hammond, in a joint statement on Monday commended Nigerians on the peaceful conduct of last Saturday’s presidential and parliamentary elections and urged for continued steadfastness as they await the announcement of the final result. But the representatives of the two country also warned against deliberate political interference to undermine the integrity of the final result. “Our governments welcome the largely peaceful vote on March 28,” the two officials said in a joint statement. “The Nigerian people have shown a commendable determination to register their vote and choose their leaders,” they added. According to the two officials, till the end of the voting process, their monitors did not see any evidence of systemic manipulation of the process. “But there are disturbing indications that the collation process—where the votes are finally counted—may be subject to deliberate political interference” they noted. “This would contravene the letter and spirit of the Abuja Accord, to which both major parties committed themselves. “The Governments of the United States and the United Kingdom would be very concerned by any attempts to undermine the independence of the Electoral Commission (INEC), or its Chairman, Professor Jega; or in any way distort the expressed will of the Nigerian people.” There have been concerns across the country that the Nigerian authorities are plotting to manipulate the results of the election to swing victory in favour of President Goodluck Jonathan. Femi Fani-Kayode, the spokesperson for Mr. Jonathan, has continued to insist that his party, the Peoples Democratic Party, is ahead in the vote tally for the election even when counting and official release of results are yet to be completed. http://www.premiumtimesng.com/news/headlines/180193-america-britain-warn-nigerian-officials-against-manipulating-presidential-national-assembly-elections-results.html |
LRNZH:OP how market? Where's Ngwakwe that has banned and banned Buhari supporters? |
Barcanistan is an uncultured analyst who feels intellectually endowed to run his keyboard typing irrelevant postulations. Nairaland person the year 2014 is the worst analyst in 2015. Until GMB is announced, this is all I have for him and his cohorts. |
2nd Hand Trains....see as GEJ will be booted out now. |
Exactly what this document says is ongoing right now. Nigerians will oppose a rigged result. |
So Boko Haram has not been wiped out as claimed by the FG. They even have enough effrontery to want to attack a big town like Bauchi. We need a strong and well thought out counter insurgency programme in the NE and GEJ cannot provide that. Nigeria Sai Baba |
Ivanspring:Nigeria under PDP is a jungle. |
Mods pls FP. This needs to be broadcast far and wide. APC has been harassed in Rivers State and now Gombe State. cc: Lalasticlala, Ishilove, Maclatunji, Obinoscopy, OAM4J |
