That was a monorail in Sydney, Australia.
They're for medium traffic intra city commute and are usually elevated above ground. Instead of two rails they have just one hence monorail.

Lag n PH? Just leave matter.

this Ghana train and track looks new too...
Good point. I'm not sure what model of train it is but it looks better packaged than the Nigeria or Angola locomotives. My opinion.

A reasonable OP would ask succinct questions on the new trains....
1 what are the names and brand of these trains
2 what other countries use these type
3 what is the maintenance time frame
4 Google what ever relevant info whether good or bad about d trains and come and place here for all to see

But No... now the thread has turned abusive and we have left the substance and chasing chaff

because its good luck trains then they are bad....

please let's ask the right questions and make informed decisions.
This is the information I could find on the web:

The older looking ones are C25 EMPD locomotives from GE (General Electric). But it is mostly in African countries with less sophisticated railways that they're used.

Look at the ones from other countries. They're are electric. Don't be deceived. Na paint you dey see.

After two months you won't recognize the Nigeria locomotives again because of smoke from the burnt diesel.

I told u guys... Buhari has very slim chance..

Powers that be in naija.. wouldn't allow him... Like the IBB and his military boys; dangote; etc

E go hard oo...
Not so fast my friend.

This time be optimistic.

Who is IBB these days? The highest he can do is to impose a governor on Niger State. He has no voice in the north. His only boy in Gov't is David Mark.

Buhari has a lot of the masses support nationwide, and a strong and well funded party structure in APC.
Even the people around GMB are no pushovers eg Tinubu, Amaechi, Osinbajo, El-Rufai, even OBJ.

Have confidence this time.

Gov't is now broke. They're sponsoring people to pilgrimage . How does that add to preasing national development issues?

These PDP and GEJ supporters cannot see past sentiments.

GMB has said it.
Education is Gov't business.
Hajj is private business. Gov't has no business sponsoring pilgrimages.

But GEJ has misplaced Nigeria's priorities once again.

In a video at his meet the youth session in Lagos Tuesday, President Buhari complained on why the Jonathan administration commits millions of dollars to send people to Hajj, an obligation Buhari said is not the duty of the Government but meant to be a private undertaking; yet schools lack infrastructure, classrooms and even teachers across Nigeria.

It is noted that Goodluck Jonathan actually added pilgrimage to Jerusalem to the already routine Government sponsored pilgrimage to Hajj. Apparently General Buhari will terminate such government expenses which he argues are erroneous and plain wrong.

He recently also declared that he will not keep an office of the First lady which is unconstitutional. The governor of Kano, Rabiu Kwankwaso is known for his saving public funds by likewise erasing the First lady office which his predecessor, Shekarau wasted State billions running.
