[quote author=puffmama post=124723681]How much is your sch fees ? How much deposit have you made?.add the balance to your living expenses , add some extra to accomodate the fluctuations in exchange rate .

If the 30M can cover the above then it's not fone for it to be your opening balance

So can 30m be my opening balance and I use MBS for my bank statement

Hello

Minimum 28days and Yes your bank statement should cover that

2. It shouldn't be a red flag, but if the ECO asks you should be able to defend your bank statement

Cheers
You mean an interview

Go to your secondary school and let them prepare js1- ss3 transcript for you.
They told me grade 11 that's ss2 and I only have first term and second term and I did srt in my first term but drop it because I changed my course did science in my second term and I don't know how to prepare the transcript now.
TravelRe: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 23 by Luada(m): 9:24pm On Jul 25, 2023
Bobomaigida:
Then get your sec school to send the transcript of your grades to them, it does not matter whether you missed a term, so long as you have completed WAEC
Thanks alot

Better you look for another school if you can’t meet up with all their conditions, because no one can help here only the school.

Sorry bro, to save yourself this wahala because I noticed you have been asking this question for awhile now.
Okay

Bobomaigida:
The country specific admission requirement for this programme for Nigerians is WAEC, with a provision that you must have a minimum C is Mathematics. I did not see where they requested for transcripts.

At best send them your WAEC details and scratch card PIN so they can log into WAEC portal and see your grades there.
While speaking with one of the schools official I was told to submit my grade 11 results that my ss2 transcript and when given a conditional admissions the school in which I wrote my WAEC will email my results, check on their website you will see that it called official transcript.

Bobomaigida:
I think you are getting this wrong, please which school is this and what programme are you applying for?
Concordia university Montreal Quebec,
Bachelor in Computer Science.
TravelRe: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 23 by Luada(m): 3:08pm On Jul 25, 2023
Bobomaigida:
Since you have your WAEC cert, then you are good to go. Get the transcripts of the period you were in sec school and add your WAEC certificate to it and send it to them. The end point of the sec school education is to get certificate and since you have that all is fine.
According to the school system am meant to submit my WAEC results after given conditional admission. So that mean I can only use my ss2 first and second term results as my transcript without my third term result.

Good morning everyon, I asked a question in the last thread and didn't get any response, so I wish to repeat the same question. So if someone for example wrote WAEC in ss2 and missed ss2 third term and the university you are applying to ask for your high school transcript not WAEC results how will i prepare it since I missed ss2 third term?

Hi. Our travel experts here. Pls I have a big issue with my bank statement. My first application was rejected, citing insufficient funds although I had a large sum of money (17m) submitted through a microfinance bank. Can I submit my second application with my Access bank bank statement? Will there be unnecessary suspicions if I don't use my microfinance bank account which was used in my previous application? Are there records of my previous bank statement? Many thanks
Don't use MFBank

AskGod07:
Don’t you have any O level ?
You submit that when you get admission, it is called official transcript/results and should be submitted by the school you wrote your waec, or by WAEC board itself. That their structure.

AskGod07:
What O leave certificate do you have?

If you have your result either you do it in JS1 do you want to tell the school that you wrote your WAEC in SS2.

So far the result is original
The school is Concordia in Montreal and they said am meant to send my ss2 results if I haven't written waec and I will be offered conditional admissions still I submit them I think that the best route but I don't have my ss2 third term results
TravelRe: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 22 by Luada(m): 5:35pm On Jul 19, 2023

They might ask you to open your bank app to confirm your claim. Some people have been asked that at the point of entry... Expecially if noticed you are yet to pay any of the Tuition fee... To be risk free, let that money be available before getting aboard a plane...
What if the money you used in your POF is not yours I mean sponsored by someone

Yes it is risk free. I got mine at 2% . I wrote a letter to the bank stating that the amount (#10m in my case) be put on lien and be automatically transferred back to the owners account once the agreed time is due.I and the owner of the funds signed and got an account manager to help ensure compliance. The 2% interest rate is paid monthly to an account provided by the owner of the funds
Can we talk in private.
