Beautiful women have options. And the ones who have something going for them in addition to beauty is going to be harder to get.

An attractive African or any immigrant with their papers already shouldn't have a problem getting someone in his league. Now keeping one is another problem all together.
True.

Sorry but I didn't understand your question.

So how long did that take ? Didn’t you get a grrrm card first ?
No, I didn't.

I bypassed the Green Card Process. I only filed an N-600 { Certificate of Citizenship} & after that I applied for a Passport since I was born a Derivative U.S. Citizen.

Even though I was born in Nigeria, my Dad was already a U.S. Citizen before I was born so I automatically acquired U.S. Citizenship at birth.

How did you get it though your parents. Didn’t you come here on visa?
I initial came on an F-1 Visa after High School then my Father filed for me while I was still in School.

Lucky you. I wasn't born here. I don't have family here and about bringing my parent and siblings once I'm done with the oath ceremony.

Attraction is subjective. Some of these African men are attracted to patience, not being kicked out of the house they pay rent on, getting a good meal, nnot working like a donkey to loose all the money to your "fine face" madam and sleeping peacefully.

You are looking at the fine face and wowed while an ex somewhere sees the devil in plain flesh.
True.

My overall aim wasn't to get a greencard maybe that explains why.

Finding someone in college was really easy. You just have to look at the right places & dig a little bit deeper.

You're getting it wrong.
It isn't that African men (and women) decided they want to marry the less attractive ones.

It is all about peace of mind and getting you papers "straight"
Let's all be honest, The easiest straight forward way to get Permanent residency is through family petition.

Most people don't have direct family members in the US willing to file for them, even if they are, it takes years

It isn't an easy task to find someone that genuinely wants to file a petition for you without hidden agenda.

"Fine face" and green card petition isn't always a good mix.

Thankfully, our African brothers (the really smart ones) are learning. Peace of mind, no drama, smooth petition process will help you get on your feet faster.

For someone to file a petition for you, they must show they earn enough to sponsor you.

Most "fine face" is just that, nothing else. You come from Naija on a visit visa and you're chasing "fine face" around, I am sorry for you grin grin grin

Nevertheless, don't bite the hand that feeds you. That "unattractive" lady that helped you out, don't disregard her.
I think it depends on the circumstances.

You just have to put yourself in the best position possible.

I have a friend both of us attended High School together but he came into the United States in 2011 while I came into the United States in 2012.

He came on an F-1 Student Visa and was able to find a Girlfriend on campus after 1 year in college.

He dropped out of school & they both moved in together & eventually got married.

It's been almost 7 years now & they're still together.

He even told me he will be filing for his citizenship this year and he is just waiting to save up enough money to pursue the application.

At the end of the day as long as you're sincere & committed with them most are willing to help.

But don't have a wife in Nigeria & start up lying to them inorder to get them to help you because if they eventually find out on their own sorry will be you name...

You right.

I got my blue Passport through my Parents so I didn't really have to struggle for it.

But I can't just imagine being with someone I'm unattracted to for almost 5 years...

But at the end of the day you just gotta do what you gotta do...

What if the person report the card to be stolen and hotlist it and get a new card from his/her bank or will the payment be tied to SSN.
Why not just pay the $1 or $2.50 at most for the DVD rental?

Why report your card stolen when it isn't just because of $1 or $2.50 at most?

Funny how you think it's all about if the women are attractive and that the men have a choice lol. Ever consider the men are not attractive enough for the women you're talking about? grin

And yes, just like black American men with less attractive women, is about what she's doing for them. Being able to live for free without working, etc. Not all the time, but a LOT of the time.
grin grin grin

Quite a possibility.

But I believe that there way too many beautiful ladies in the United States for one to settle with the least attractive ones.

It looks like She dumped the guy.

His name is Michael Ilesanmi.

Y'all should watch it. It is too funny.. grin grin
The video was funny.

But seriously speaking I wonder why many of these my African Brothers always end up with unattractive White Woman.

Could it be because of desparation to get green card?

I mean there are ton of Beautiful Ladies including Hot Single Moms both Black women & White women all over America who will be willing to assist them settle down permanently in the United States.

I mean are beautiful ladies all over the place including Atlanta, Miami, Los Angeles, New York City, Boston and Washington DC

Never understood why most African guys would choose the unattractive ones.
