Deepspirituals:Can we have your wife's number so we can put it to the test for the stubborn one's who wouldn't listen. |
SmartPolician:Then wouldn't you agree Nigerians are just as dumb - tu leading at the forefront - for even believing at all a factually impossible myth. One from the middle east borrowed from other older myths just cause a book says so. Ironic. |
Religion would cage your mind in a box then fill the box with toxic materials like fear, guilt, superstition and shame - that corrodes your mind, so you can't carry out thought processes outside the box, nor think of leaving said box. To escape that box is one of the most difficult things a person can do. It's why you see typically sane people like this turn mush once they involve their religion. And to think this one's life is at stake, shows how bad the corrasion can get. Such a pity. |
Lol! There’s a reason the “effects” of prayer are indistinguishable from not praying or just being lucky. Same reason why believers have zero measurable advantage over anyone else — they live, suffer, and die like everything else on this planet. Again it's why their god’s actions are indistinguishable from no action at all and why demonstrations of his "powers" only conveniently happened when means of collecting evidence was unavailable. It's also why his "miracles" live on the edge of ambiguity - never unambiguous like a regrown limb. And this reason is why their god’s existence is practically indistinguishable from non-existence. Looks like you might have deciphered it. |
There are definitely “negative vibes” you pick up from people, but it’s not spiritual, superstition has nothing to do with it. What’s happening is basically evolutionary psychology mixed with the way our brains handle pattern-recognition as our brains are always scanning for patterns. We've evolved to spot danger before it becomes obvious. Your brain is always scanning faces, tone, posture, and tiny inconsistencies around you — all subconsciously. It'll then load all that information without you even knowing. Then it mixes those signals with your past experiences, biases, and the social patterns you’ve learned over time. So when something feels “off,” begative vibes/energy it’s usually that your brain caught a micro-pattern you didn’t consciously notice. It feels weird because your brain doesn’t give you the explanation, it just sends the signal. Evolution also pushed us to be overly cautious as our main goal is survival and self preservation. The system is not perfect nor free from bias so a lot of false alarms come uo. Missing a real threat is way worse than reacting to a false alarm, so we’re wired to be “better safe than sorry.” That’s why these vibes come up now and then. You see similar instincts in animals, especially social ones. Herd animals would pick up subtle cues when one member is sick and naturally distance themselves. Even with say cats, sometimes the mother will eliminate a newborn that seems off, mostly because it’s unlikely to survive and could put the rest of the lkittens at risk. So nothing spiritual is happening here, just imoerfect brainns working to keep us alive. And this is demonstrable with hard data, not all the speculation and hear say that people would spout on here. |
QuinQ:Couldn't be more apt. Free will as a matter of fact doesn't exist as has been demonstrated scientifically with Libet's experiment and the Split Brain experiment. Even the bible doesn't support it as well, reading through you'd quickly find out it isn't even biblical - not like the bible's accurate on most things but still. Then just thinking logically, that one just buries it. If your will operates within constraints you didn’t choose, it’s not free, it’s just an illusion at best. Did we choose to be born and participate in life in the first place? Did we choose our genetic makeup, the structure of our brain, the way your biology reacts to our environment, the century or location we were born into, our temperament/personality, our trauma, our instincts, or our cognitive limits? Obviously no to all those questions - not even a single yes - ergo no free will. Imagine claiming a prisoner is free because during his set alloted "free time" he can choose to go to the gym or library. Or a chess piece thinking it’s free because it can move in the directions the game allows, but it forgets it can’t move outside the board or in any direction not permitted. Wonder why people still spout this buried argument. |
There's more of a chance of him waking up with a full head of hair than any of these so called " heavy" curses coming to fruition. |
Perfect demonstration of the uselessness of prayers, same way we keep praying for the country to get better while it actively gets worse. Waste of time on something with the same efficacy as not doing anything. With alll the prayers what demonstrable advantage do so called believers have over non - beilevers that non believers can't have. Absolutely nothing! Says it all really. |
Ever seen a thief label himself a thief. Nope! |
Typical superstitious nonsense from myopic folks. Even if there's a correlation that in no way establishes it as the causation. |
safarifarms:Like I said the rage will pass, now shoo! |
safarifarms:Capitalize or not, call it yhwh, jehovah, el, imaginary phatom or whatever, wouldn't change the fact about your myth. safarifarms:😄 Says the person who quoted me, you sure you're alright? Anyways, don't worry the rage will pass. |
safarifarms:Oga, did your god not say it's “not the author of confusion”? Didn’t it supposedly send a holy spirit to lead you into all truth and keep you all unified? So where’s the unity? Where’s the clarity? Because all that's there is endless snobbing, bickering, schisms, killings over whose idea of god and what he wants is the “right” one. The confusion quite clearly speaks for itself, thank you very much. |
Earthkumy:Someone's triggered, you could've easily skipped but nah.. lol! |
Christianity and confusion are two peas in a pod, so much for "god is not an author of confusion." |
All these gpt regurgitated articles Anyways the only thing Nigerians are good at is "suffering and smiling" while outsourcing & waiting for a non existent god to solve their problems. "god when", "god when". Keep waiting, even SA you helped to get independence has already left you in the dust. Keep waiting & praising. |
Ha! |
These are Hives. An allergic rection to something around you. All you need to do is observe what's causing it and stay away from it. If it's itchy I'd suggest a second generation anti - histamine preferably - Levocitirizine(Xyzal). Unlike 1st generation, you don't get sleepy or drowsy when you take it and It would calm the itch and allergy immediately. |
obonujoker:You username checks out perfectly. |
obonujoker:This is 2025 bro, don't you think it's high time to educate one's self, face objective reality and leave archaic myths, fiction and imaginary friends of no value behind. |
SIRTee15:Oh, the irony. You guys just can’t seem to do without it, hilarious? 🧇 How’s that waffle tasting?(I love waffles, they tatse great) I actually read through the post, and the funniest part is how you basically reinforced my point at every turn. The bolded part especially — didn’t know the foreskin was supposed to be a god engineered “natural condom.” So let’s get this straight: in your “perfect” creation, god deliberately designed organisms that cause infections — called them “very good” — then created the foreskin to shield against the very things he made. Then sin comes along and suddenly perfectly created microbes — which apparently couldn’t survive there before — gain new abilities, move in under the foreskin, and ruin the plan. And the divine fix? Cut it off, leaving everything exposed to the very infections he supposedly designed it to protect from. Genius. Even better, actual research shows the opposite of what you’re implying — uncircumcised men have higher rates of STDs and UTIs. So if the foreskin really was god’s protective masterpiece, it’s doing a pretty lousy job and confusing your “omniscient” god at every step. As for the incest bit and the rest of the waffle, I’ll skip following you down that tangent — no need to join you in the comedy club of the circus. I’m only here as a makeup artist. You quoted me for a reason, right? So why consistently dodge the reason you quoted me? Yes or no should be easy. 😏 Anyways, back to my actual point: are you still claiming there’s no evidence for everything I said in my OP? The makeup’s coming on either way. If you dodge (classic hit-and-run), makeup. If you say “yes,” I bring the receipts — makeup. If you say “no,” you played yourself — makeup. Choose your poison. Tick-tock, makeup designer for 🤡’s awaits. |
RealityKings1:Ah yes Christian values that vrought us bangers like genocide, Inquisition, slavery, stoning and burning people to death. Pass the blunt. |
SIRTee15:Intelligence and scripture? Ha! If we had followed any so called intelligence from scripture, we'd still be stuck in the Stone Age. And yes yes, your classic tangent dodge did not go unnoticed. You completely sidestepped the evidence request and went off into a rant about circumcision. Typical. But fine, let me humor your tangent. So your "omniscient" god "intelligently designed" everything including man and declared it all "very good". That includes the foreskin, right? He designed it, called it good, then suddenly got pissed about... the foreskin he supposedly designed? So pissed, in fact, that he was ready to unalive someone for not cutting it off? Make it make sense, abeg. 😂 This confused nature of your so called omniscient Yhwh is actually typical. Claims to hate sin and bans incest, yet starts off by creating only two people and tells them to multiply — how exactly was that supposed to happen without incest? Then, he wipes out almost all living things - for using the "free will" he gave man - then populates earth again using incest. All this, when he could’ve simply created more people to avoid using the very thing he supposedly hates. Let’s not even get started on Balaam’s story same bizarre logic. And you brought up intelligence near scripture? 😄 Anyways, back to the real point, are you still going to claim there’s no evidence for everything I said earlier? Because ironically, the evidence is like legion—it is many. Or are you about to do your usual hit & run? |
SIRTee15:Ah, the ringmaster returns 🤡. Should I hand you the makeup, or are we still pretending Leviticus is poetry? Happy to oblige though. You really want evidence? From the same book where the deity floods the Earth, collects foreskins like trophies, and turns women into war spoils — before sacrificing himself to himself? You sure you wanna crack that book open, or should I grab the paint kit while we prep for the metaphor gymnastics? |
cyberbro:And no evil in xtainity, like there are isn't human rituals & scarifice, cultic rituals, genocide, infanticide, incest, sexual assualt, rape, blood and death magic. Pot meet kettle. |
