Still remember a couple of people on here who vehemently claimed the moon landing was faked because 'reasons'. I clearly remember one talking about Van Allen belt and protective layers designed by god ergo it was faked - can't really recall accurately, but I know 2 of their user names. There’s a reason the “effects” of prayer are indistinguishable from not praying or just being lucky or coincidence. Same reason why believers have zero measurable advantage over anyone else — they live, suffer, and die like everything else on this planet. If that weren’t the case, believers would be able to point to one tangible, demonstrable benefit and advantage that Christians who pray, reliably have over non-Christians who don’t and that the prayerless non-christain can't have. Or what you can do is buy a good sound system and blare Fela kuti to drawn their noise, I trust them they will ask you to lower your volume.

All those ones won't work, said so urself. What I did was to buy very good noise canceling headphones, then downloaded a white noise app. Whenever they're making noise i just turn it on and have my peace.

My fellow Christians are screaming and shouting next door to my house all in the name of Jesus. As usual they are speaking in their man made tongues. One of them is acting like an evil spirit and making strange sounds. I know it is all fake because I'm a hardcore christian. I experience same, the noise pollution is crazy, the annoying part is I work from home. So on unlucky days I have meetings when they're holding services I have to lock all my windows, still barely reduces it. And sometimes it's very early in the morning, I suffer from insomnia as well, so imagine struggling to sleep through the night, fall asleep only to be awaken by noise.

Also there's one useless pastor that comes once a month with big speakers very early in the morning on weekends and it's usually so loud. Just to tell everyone their sins and that they're going to hell. I think governing bodies need to step in to do something cause it's not funny. Cause for even a christain to complain about it shows how dire it is.

Each day I go to work, I see young graduates lining on the streets, looking for free rides to lekki as early as 5am to do menial job. Almost all the job interviews or postings nowadays appear to be genuine and this is one of the disadvantages of the social media. During our time, we searched for jobs posted inside Guardian and punch newspapers only. These had contacts and you could easily trace them in case of any issue. But nowadays, anyone can post job openings from anywhere.

If you have stayed at home for 3 years or even more and nobody is responsible for your living expenses, after graduating, then you'd understand what this lady's story connotes.
