Hey guys don't let us fool ouselves anylonger, our men doesn't have to be the breadwinner in this modern days. Why would a woman blame her husband/ partner for the roof leakage, they should both be responsible. A woman of Substance doesn't blame their husband for lack of food on the table. What happened to her own hands. Not to be rude To our men by no means, they just shouldn't be held responsible for every little thing. I've seen situations where a woman is thinking of divorce because "my husband can't provide for my children" my ? Is what happened to your hands? Are you a handicap? Go and join Mr Olowolayemo and be his 5th wife, inherit some high blood pressure while you are at it. Maybe this is because I've been on both sides of the story. So I say f, k money & yes love. The point is,you can not trade true love for money. Money can't buy happyness in a relationship. Love is worth more than any money can buy. |

Mr biggs is no more the same mr biggs we used to know, they have totally gone down the hill in all areas yet they very expensive. Tantalizer I've only been there once, I give them5/10 as to 2/10 for mr biggs. Talk about sweetsensation, I gave them an 8 when I came home in '06. Went back to the Us bragging about their style, variety and taste, came back in 07, went to the same place, I was disappointed by they taste. But I still give them 6/10. I was not encourage to try another one. Nothing compared to the old mamaput in general. |

Wao, Amaka I think we are on the same track here, for the past three years, I've been composing one too. I'm only using my experience and my daughters input. So far I have 50 recipes, about 40 from Nigeria and The rest from places like Ghana and kenya. I am still trying out some more African recipe, because I want to be able To taste it before I include it in my book. I call my book " Taste Of Africa". As it is my registered business name here In the US. I encourage you to move on this is a very good idea. If you like to, you can leave your email and we can share more Ideas. Good luck |

I will give myself a ten, since that's the highest. I am a great cook, almost everyone I know, have asked me one question or another. I can cook anything. Both Niger and American food. I got a job here at the Radison hotel in one interview. I'll do it anytime for fun, but too much work for the money. I will give the credit to my mom who is my hero in this regards. just name your ingredient and I'll tell you how to combine it, or let me smell it and i'll tell you what's in it, let me taste it and tell you what you are missing. I am good. |

Hey sister, Check this out, First of all bake your turkey a little different from the regular way. Split your turkey half way open from the neck down to the part where its already open, to where only the back bone is holding it together, or better still, split it in half if you can. You will need this seasonings, Curry powder, white peper, sage, 1 tspn each and 2 tspn of chicken bullion or chicken base, 1/4 cup of oil or about 3oz. Then you'll need green, red, yellow and any hot peper of some sort. Onions and garlic on large size of these would be perfect for 10 to 15 pound turkey. Cut they of in big wegdes like half the size of a nomal potato wedges. Add all the dry seasonings including garlic into the oil, and rub it all over the turkey inside out. Now pretend you are stuffing the turkey with all the pepers and onions, lay it on your baking pan with chest down, you can cover it for the first half and leave it open for the remainder. It usualy cooks less than the normal time. Most Nigerian men like spicy food, and you can never go wrong with this style. Add home made smashed potato and gravy, cornbread dressing, not the regular dressing in the box, its a little too spiced up for nigerian flavor. Just tone it down with a little bit more water than reqires and add home made plane corn bread. A little fried rice on the side will realy complemet the flavor of the turkey. I For desert, try some home baked apple crisp with less sweet served hot with plain vanila ice cream, most nigerian men like icecream not necessarily sweets. I you neend more help, or if this is not going to work for you, let me know, I will be more than glad to give you a different idea, trust me. 1 Like |

Hey, as crazy as it my sound, I don't think there is anything wrong with it. I've been there before with my husband, it's really fun, matter of fact, it sets you in the mood We used to live close to one that's always packed at night. We wondered what the inside was like, So we checked it out OMG. The cigaret wasn't fun, but we had a couple of drinks, actually put some money in pants"LOL". We both enjoyed it |

I agree with abujabooks, 2 months to me is actually not too early. After all you weren't raised in the same home. 3 things to have in mind is Clean, Cook& Sex. You have be consistent in all these. You can only try, you can never be perfect. There is never an end to arguements in marriage, just know when to let go. Concerning others put your man first, pray over your marriiage and watch God bless it. Good luck. |

social security number is a 9 digits number given only to US citizen, legal resudent or student. There is no way you can get one. But here is a tip; based on what you are trying to use it for, sometimes you can type a bunch of 9's like this or you can make one up 999-99-999 it has to be in this format. Because sometimes if you forget your social or you are just not comfortable disclosing it you can do that. But you can not use this if it needs to be verified first. You never know, it might just be for formalties and not for verification. Good Luck |

Hello my brother, this is my advice, and it's totally from my own plans that I've been researching for a while now. First of all keep your money in the nigerian banks. At least two seperate banks that yeald some reasonable returns. Travel to Nigeria if you can afford at least six weeks at a time. Go to places of interest; I'm sure by now you would have had one or two interests. Mingle with the real people in those areas. You are the only one who know how hard you worked for your money, so put pride aside and think deep. If you have family that will make a big consideration. I mean kids and wife. For me I've livedin the US for the same 10yrs. For past four trips I've taken to Nigeria, I've decided to open a big pharmacy in my neighbourhood. Many say "what are you talking about, but non of them will help me put food on the table or replace my ride when needed, that's why I said to put pride aside. Plus I'm a woman, I guess I can get away with that. So I'm spending my last few years here working part time in a pharmacy to get the real inside scoop of how I can bring change to Chemist industry like Barack brings change to American politics, "LOL" while I'm bussy shipping home some valuable equipments. So, if you still have time try something like this, you will not believe what I've been able to put together. Imaging putting N5m what of meds and household goods in a huge shop that I have planned out at the bottom of my house. Which is to avoid Lagos traffic headache. I can't wait. What ever you decided remember to feed us back so we can patronize you Good Luck |

@-laugh, I disagree with you in the sense that I have seen some very well behaved kids raised in the US Far better that some kids in Nigeria. I believe 75% is in the hands of the parent. The remaining 25% is between the kind of child and the environment. I've seen a set of twins raised in the same home one is a doctor and the other one is serving life in jail. I'm raising 4 in the US as I speak. Each time we come home I get the best compliments you can imagine on the upbringing of the children. Because there is no housegirl in America, they have learnt how to do a whole lot at there age. My thirteen year old cooks soup when everything is ready. I can call home on my way back from work and have my eleven year old cook rice. I can keep talking all night long. My 17 nephew and can't do all of that without supervision. |
