The most mistake y'all Arsenal fans make is to compare yourselves to the champions of Europe. City has been formidable since 2017. Don't compare Arteta to Guardiola or Arsenal to City. There are many battles to be fought and consistency to achieve before you can sit at the same table with City.
Is that why Arteta should draw three matches consecutively, in trying to play 'cautious football'?

We all known you are the Goat of coaches.

You have managed all the top team in the world.
You aren't even an Arsenal supporter. What brings you here? undecided

Gosh. You don't know a thing about football tactics, and you think you can trash-talk a professional, whereas you get your best information from Twitter.
Sure.

Let the 'professional' keep up with defending slender leads, leaving everyone with their hearts in their mouths. It's a long season ahead.

Give it a rest, see how you've been going off about arteta

Match don finish go sleep
Byeeeeeeee
Of course, we should applaud a coach who went on a drawing spree at a critical time of the season all in the name of cautionary play.

You really think my criticism is about one match. But let me leave you to your fanboyism.

Of course, the commentators usually wonder at some decisions of the manager. Still, you're calling Arteta out aggressively like you're his chairman or some sort of retired professional footballer or manager who sees the game better than Arteta.
Arteta should be having weekly sessions with a psychiatrist. At his age, he still has the mentality of a teenager in his approach to his job.

common arteta makes a lot of wrong decisions that sometimes u wonder what as gotten into him for example today match is a perfect case where many players are being played out of position, failing to sub sometimes even when everyone except arteta knows we need fresh legs and also failing to play some players and starting others instead. That was the major reason we bottled the league last season because arteta thinks he is guardiola 2.0.
Exactly! I like to believe he's suffering grandeur delusions. Unfortunately, his fanboys let him get away with it. They will soon come to tell us how he 'tried' tonight, with out of the world 'tactics'.

You are stealing the line I should be using on you. Both cards were deserved. Maybe another referee would have been lenient with the second yellow, but that's solely his prerogative.

This isn't about Tomiyasu: it's the poor team mentality that saw Ben White get a couple of yellow cards for the silly time wasting strategies last season.

Red card... Attacking will practically end now.

20 minutes is more than sufficient for Palace to get that draw they came for.

SMH.
Who knows if Arteta isn't a just a fan of BDSM. Played under pretty similar circumstances last match.

I wonder why they started such nonsense. Crystal Palace to equalize and win. Nothing will gladden me more than a good lesson to stupid tactics. The EPL is serious this season. This is like 5 red cards this week.
Unfortunately, Arteta learns nothing from whatever the cost of his mistakes. Perhaps, he doesn't even admit he made mistakes.

That's the amateurism that greatly cost them last season...!

You don't concede control of any game, not even when you are leading by a 3 goal margin.

That's what keeps Pep heads and shoulders above the rest of them.
Makes you wonder what Arteta was learning under Pep's tutelage. It's not even that the amateur coach doesn't have the right materials to achieve this. Just plain stubborn head.

See Martinelli even urging his teammates to attack.

I don't know if it is because Arteta was a defensive mid or what, but it's usually annoying to see the team put their foot off the gas.

Finally... Deadlock broken.

Gunners should try and score another to put the game to bed... These Palace players are seriously after a draw.
Arteta usually has a different idea in these kind of situations, which haunt him on some occasions last season.

Even when you want to defend a slender lead, you still need to be controlling the game and keeping the opponents on their toes, like we saw Man City do with Newcastle.

But Arteta fanboys never see any wrong in whatever Arteta does.

hes on the bench

arteta just like being stubborn and wants to play havertz by all means
Gabriel the defender or Gabriel the forward?

I do agree there's more to this Havertz mattter though. I still can't figure out what's the deal.

I saw it live.

It might be because of this intended kiss that he was hugging and carrying them up, wait for this girl to come so that he will do what he has made up his mind to do.

Thinking we all will just assume that it's normal that he has been hugging others before her.
You saw he even extended the excessive PDA to the male coach.

You might not be far from the truth

Equality palava. If women only are put to manage women’s affairs, maybe this wouldn’t be. But na una scatter everywhere, dey equate both sexes.

He practically hugged/smooched the players and the male coach.

He was particularly weird, maybe drunk or over excited.

He did exceptionally well even with the strike, he managed the crisis well and came out on top of all his detractors, won a second term neatly and ruled in peace thereafter.

Obi is a seasoned administrator.
Exactly how we expect the current president to overcome the present adversity and come out on top of detractors like you.

Obi never does any half measures, he doesn't leave any loose ends. He wouldn't have removed subsidy without preparing for the impacts. He is not a drug addict.
That's why a 1 year strike happened under his watch as governor.

I don't even understand why this will be painted as weird and negative.

Many years back, I remember one sharp working class man who drove Toyota Hummer bus to work rather than some fancy car. He used to pick 'passengers' going to work in it and chaarge slightly lesser than the regular fair. I remeber he once mentioned he usually hired it out on weekends to those travelling out of Lag for one ceremony or the other.

Good day nairalanders, I'm a very old member of this forum and I've been more of a reader than a topic creator.
I came home from work today and I felt very empty.
A university graduate of over 23 years with a 2 year restaurant store keeper experience. The restaurant I worked at folded up after tejusoho market at Yaba was opened. Since then I've been dropping my CV at different companies to get employed. But I didn't get any call from where I submitted my CV. I decided to start a teaching job which I did for close to 8 years. I worked as a teacher in a private school located around agbado area, ogun state. But I got tired because I wasn't appreciated and more so the salary wasn't taking care of my needs. So I was introduced to a hotel job as a housekeeper. I accepted the job and since then I've been a house keeper cleaning rooms. This I have been doing for over 5years now with a 35000naira monthly pay
I now look at myself with little grey hairs on my head. Thinking.... IS THIS WHAT I WAS MADE FOR? IS THIS WHY I SCHOOLED FOR 4YEARS.

Im just so bitter. Even the hotel where I work, the store keeper position where I have an experience is being manned by a secondary school cert holder.

God please when will I get there.
I'm writing this because I know there are good hearts in this forum. Please help me get a job. I have a 2 year old kid and my wife is pregnant. Please help me.
Get a TEFL certification and apply to teach in a foreign country, like UAE or the likes, particularly the Asian countries. Your 8 years teaching experirence should position you well, I think.

when did acknowledging a coaches achievement become fanboyism, you lot think that criticizing everything makes you premium football fans. You always want to find fault in everything a coach or players does so that I'd seem like you're very knowledgeable. Arteta, given what he's done with the little he's given has attained a status that puts him just a little bit beneath the likes of Pep, Mou and SAF
If you say so.
