Donating a pint of blood every month, that sounds interesting. But, sir, may i know how you do this? The reason is that according to WHO, a man can only donate 4 times in a year, 3 times for a female. Please, i need you to school me on that. Thank you

I think this article is significantly exaggerating the risks of donating eggs and sperm. How can you say a man will suffer from low sperm count for donating sperm when the average adult male masturbates more than 3 times a week? If that was the case, our population will be declining and not growing at a healthy pace.

I'm a chronic sperm donor and I can proudly say my sperm has made over 150 couples happy parents today. I also donate a pint of blood every month as well and I have told my wife to make sure every organ in my body gets donated when I'm dead.

My only worry as a sperm donor is the risk of a boy I fathered meeting a girl I also fathered and having an incestuous relationship without knowing it. Other than that, I love donating my sperm, the monetary incentive is nice but what's most rewarding is the joy and happiness I bring to several families who would otherwise not have any children of their own.

Articles like this should be banned because they shame donors and creates a bad stigma associated with being a donor. There's already a shortage of donors, and this article doesn't help matters.

The point is, the girl is a brilliant student considering her previous examinations and results, at least, as heralded by the media. However, Jamb is very sure of its verdicts against the girl, proving it beyond reasonable doubt that the result is doctored. I hope the security personnel conducts investigation into the matter so those who lured the poor girl to the fraudulent act can be arrested and disciplined accordingly.

If You're sixteen years old,or just finished secondary school in this country, please my advice for you is to not go to university immediately.. Use one year or 6 months to go and learn any business you have passion for, then ask your parents to use the money they want to waste for that Useless five years course to start up a business for you, trust me, in five years time if you are destined to succeed and not an Igbo smoker or mumu pikin, when your mates are celebrating graduating with a stupid degree, busy signing shirt upandan and start searching for a job they can never see, you will have become a millionaire by then.. After you've established your business to a stage where by it don't need your presence to run, you can employ people to run it in your absence while your go to school and chase that degree if you want... When your mates dey celebrate graduating at 21,22,23, you will be celebrating becoming a millionaire and employer of labour at that same age... Tell me how many BSC holders get upto a million Naira in their account today? Na them full Nairaland 24/7 dey complain of job scarcity, planning how to go squat with a friend in another state in search of job..

I believe your baby will be fine ok. Cases like this are more of inability to pay additional hospital bills and trust me, the more you stay in the hospital the unthinkably accumulated your bills. But before there was corn, bird ate something hence, the indigenous knowledge of our fathers. My 3 children all had jaundice at birth and we didn't stay extra day in the hospital for it to subdue. We used the indigenous knowledge of our forefathers.

If it is not too much and you can see it all over the baby's body, as instructed put him/her under the early morning sun. You should also go to 'alagbo' to buy 'EEPO YAANI and EEPO AHUN'. Soak in water, use it to bath and put droplets in his/her mouth. Will be ok bfr you know it. But if it is so much you should take him/her to the ALAGBO, they have few other things they add to it

I think it is allergies to either cream or medications. He should look back to what he probably started using in those two items and stop it hence, his condition may improve

It is lipoma bro. I carried that on my right hip for 4years but I got rid of it about 2 months ago. It doesn't pain, it doesn't itch, you only feel like a ball is moving in the lump if you press hard. 30-50mins surgery would take care of it

There was a mild drama at the Senate probe of the November 20 National Assembly invasion by the police when the Divisional Police Officer attached to the federal parliament, Mr. James Ndachaba, said the police officers from the FCT command, were not responsible for the tear gas canister thrown at the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Mr. Aminu Tambuwal.

Ndachaba, who stated this while testifying before the Senator Ahmed Makarfi’s ad-hoc committee of the Senate probing the unfortunate development, however, indicted security details attached to Senate President, David Mark, for being responsible for the tear gas canister thrown at the Speaker and his colleagues on November 20.

Curiously, heads of other security and paramilitary agencies attached to the National Assembly, however, disagreed with the position of Ndachaba as they stated that they were not aware of any Mark’s security detail throwing tear gas at Tambuwal.

But the DPO argued that he actually saw Mark’s security detail, whose name he did not mention, through a video recording, perpetrating the act.

The following conversation ensued between the committee chairman and Ndachaba.

Makarfi: You wrote in your written submission that one of the security details of Senate President, David Mark, fired the tear gas. Are you saying that it is not the policemen under your command that fired the tear gas?

Ndachaba: With due respect sir, what I viewed on the screen showed that the police under my command dressed differently from those attached to the Senate President……

Makarfi (cuts in): I want you to be specific are you telling this committee that it is the security personnel of the Senate President that fired the tear gas?

Ndachaba: What I am saying is that the tear-gassing took place when the Senate President attempted to enter the chamber of the House of Representatives and there was a commotion which led to the injury of his aide-de-camp (ADC).

Makarfi (cuts in again): Are you saying that the tear gas was only fired at the entrance of the House of Representatives chambers? Are you saying tear gas was not fired anywhere within the premises of the National Assembly before then?

Ndachaba: I asserted in my report with you sir where I wrote that the tear gas might have exploded when attempt was made to disarm a police officer at the entrance of the main gate.

Makarfi: You are under oath. Here you have put in writing that the tear gas might have been exploded by one of the security details of the Senate President.

Ndachaba: Very well sir, I was not physically there but I saw it on the video clips which was aired by a television station. My submission was based on information and the video clips that I saw. I saw it on the screen.

Makarfi: This is a grievous allegation which you have submitted in writing. I want you to submit a copy of the video clip otherwise we will describe your allegation as hearsay.

It will be recalled that Tambuwal and some federal lawmakers were locked out of the complex on that day after a futile attempt to stop Tambuwal, by firing tear gas canisters at him and his colleagues.

The police had said that it acted on security reports that the National Assembly would be invaded by thugs on the day when lawmakers were to either ratify or reject President Goodluck Jonathan’s extension of emergency rule in the North-East states of Adamawa, Borno and Yobe.

The Senate leadership, after an extensive debate on the issue on the floor, set up a committee led by Makarfi, the chairman of its Finance Committee, to probe the circumstances that led to the invasion and report back in two weeks.

However, more than a week behind schedule, Makarfi commenced investigation into the police invasion on Monday.
