Daddy's child, this is really a bad sign, but the guy isn't smart enough to decipher the meaning, the dad will practically dictates everything that happens in that marriage, my guess though

If you are married you will understand men respect themselves. Men respect other men irrespective of the age. It is women that behave that way. It is not a man's thing to dictate to other men how to run their homes. A woman is more likely to behave that way.

Bro/sis we are in a big mess. I commented on something on Instagram and no one could engage me constructively. It was insult left, right and centre. so so sad.

My brother, it brings tears to the eyes. Our young people are way worse than our leaders. Even the most basic of things available on the internet, they will rather remain ignorant while promoting the same practices and attitudes that brought Nigeria to its knees.

You just think of anything wrong and you can be sure to see Nigerians encouraging it.

Should your Steve have d opportunity to sell same plane at $9m to an African country... Would he have rejected taking the profit?
If Ola's valuation is offensive to u, create ur own content and place a value u deem fair.. Not this unnecessary criticism from a " Global biz leader" -

What is wrong with you people? Steve is literarily what comes to mind when you think of business airplane business and rubbishing him for speaking the truth is indeed disgraceful. Man has been in the business for over 40 years. Well known by everyone in the industry. All you need to do to cure your ignorance is use the same internet you use to project your ignorance to learn. If you want to learn, you will know steve talks a lot about aviation on tiktok. Man has literarily mentored many via tiktok. Just google Steve Varsano and learn. Everything you need to know is there.

Do you people not have a simple sense of pride of your nation? No sense of decency? It is all about making money and nothing else? You think Steve Varsano become the man he is by lying and inflating prices in multiples like you are supporting? Why support this kind of behaviour and at the same time complain about lack of jobs? how do you expect business to thrive in such markets?

Steve Varsano, a global business leader in the business airplane industry is chasing clout? what do we not get from you confused Nigerian young people. When the likes of Steve Varsano correct you, you take it and learn from it. Let me break it down to you as you are ignorant:

The opinions of certain people when it comes to business environment matters a lot. Steve calling a Nigerian out for lying is bad for the already poor image of Nigeria as a place for business. People considering doing business in Nigeria will take note and see the way Nigerians themselves respond to this and they will see most Nigerians aren't any different from Ola( all you need to do is read comments on here)

By the way, Steve Varsano is a global business leader when it comes to business jet industry. As He is a global business leader, his opinions matter a whole lot. No one will come do business in Nigeria if they think all we do is tell lies. Learn to grow up beyond petty foolishness.

Bedweting in adults is mainly caused by "sexually transmitted diseases" which in turn infects the urinary tract, so the most effective drug is Erythromycin. Note that Bedweting in children is different from that of adults.

Lmao, don’t be ridiculous, go give yourself to learning. If my 5th year medical students say this I will send them out of my round immediately. Adult enuresis is NOT mainly caused by STDs. Let us assume his is from STD, erythromycin is NOT the most effective medication. You actually have to take a proper history to decide which STD is likely and investigate it further. It is only an herbalist that treats all conditions with one. Summary is, stop talking nonsense and stop giving wrong advice to innocent people who may not see the foolishness in your advice. Only cure of your ignorance is to give yourself to learning.

linearity:

I took time to locate and read your previous comments on this subject, the truth is I am not persuaded.

Yes, there are complications every surgery hence one is asked to sign below the dotted lines before anything can be done.

But the multiple cascading failure here leaves one with nothing but to question the know-how and professionalism of the doctors involved here.

It was a child birth that resulted in excessive bleeding. This is totally under the control of the Doctor in charge, if the right tests medical screening are carried out, excessive bleeding can be anticipated with proper remedy in place. It is most likely the knife cut some place it should not have touched leading to the bleeding.

Secondly, when the bleeding occurred, it is totally under the control of the Doctors to monitor and protect her other organs, they cannot just say excessive bleed lead to organ shutdown’….she was right there under your watch.

Thirdly, she was put on dialysis due to kidney shutdown and died within few days from what again?

The Hospital are I order for setting up the MDT because too many things went wrong and someone should be held responsible.

This is not good for the Hospital and their rebutter does not erase the negative light this event has cast on them.

What tests help you anticipate excessive bleeding please ? Many of you be acting like you know something about what you know absolutely nothing about. Sad part is you spew the nonsense so confidently. I have been a doctor for 10 years now and now a senior doctor, a Director and I will appreciate your shedding more light on this.

The whole news is sad and unfortunate but these things happen even in the best of places. I have had the opportunity to practice in the best centres in the world and I can confirm that to you. So complex is the human body that you can not always predict what will happen. Seemingly simple procedures can turn complex on getting in. Anyone with actual clinical experience and not just Nairaland pseudo expert can attest to this simple fact. These encounters happen daily especially for those in the surgical specialties.

On student doctors operating, where is that done? That your likes actually believe that tells all that needs to be known. I trained in Nigeria by self and I know this isn’t possible.

Suggesting that MDT was convened because the hospital knew they were wrong is just nonsensical and silly. I am sure it came from a place of ignorance. MDT(which I have been part of several occasions and I have chaired a few times) are constituted on every complex cases to help the team identify lessons the managing team can learn from each case. Each hospital has its way of doing it but it typically involves what is called a significant event analysis. It is standard practice all over the world. That the relative was called to meet the MDT team is due to him wanting clarifications which he is entirely entitled to.

Don't worry

The bill is dead on arrival

There is a temporary provisional license with which you use to practice for 2yrs and do your housemanship before it expires after graduation. That license Is just to show ppl that you have the right to touch patients for a time period after graduation during which you must have complete your housemanship. Maybe that license will now be increased to 5yrs due to the bill but that will now make the stress to hurriedly look for housemanship slots easy, and make the graduates focus on getting UK qualifications first.. It is that graduation letter with IELTS and not the provisional license(or the permanent license gotten after housemanship), that is needed to be submitted to examining body in the UK to start the process of writing their exams. And once you pass the exams you must register under GMC within 2yrs with evidence of housemanship. The graduation certificate, your one year housemanship evidence(which you can now do after passing plab2), grin your IELTS and the pass of the two exams that are the Koko requirement to prove that indeed you are a doctor that can practice in UK unsupervised. grin grin grin grin

You only need evidence of your Naija full license or provisional license when you are applying for visa.

Now this is what will happen, Alot of Nigerian doctors will make it a duty and goal to leave before that 5yrs expiration just to show the legislators that they can keep their permanent license cheesy cheesy cheesy

I am a senior doctor in the U.K. myself and I know there are several routes to leave even with provisional licence. They can write exams and apply for foundation training. The government is aware of how uninformed our people are and like to keep them occupied with things like this. It is the one jubilating that is making me laugh the most.

Shut your nasty slaveboy lips.

Bill Gates is a EUGENICIST who believes the world is ''overpopulated'', and is paying billions for 'vaccines' to ''help save lives''. Leave aside the contradiction in that for a moment. His ''philanthropic works'' are scams aimed at killing/sterilising people to reduce the global population. His 'vaccine programs' have lead to the deaths of millions of people in Africa, India and elsewhere.

''Anyone defending the Bill Gates/WHO global vaccine program needs to explain this study: Mogensen et al 2017. Prior to 2017, neither HHS nor WHO ever performed the kind of vaccinated/unvaccinated (or placebo) study necessary to ascertain if the DTP vaccine actually yields beneficial health outcomes. The DTP vaccine was discontinued in the US and western nations in the 1990s following thousands of reports of death and brain damage.

… girls vaccinated with the DTP vaccine—the flagship of Bill Gates’s GAVI/WHO African vaccine program—died at 10 times the rate of unvaccinated kids.''

https://childrenshealthdefense.org/news/the-bill-gates-effect-whos-dtp-vaccine-kills-more-children-in-africa-than-the-diseases-it-targets/

Now this same man, who has never faced prosecution for all these deaths, is now pushing the 'covid vaccine' that's barely been tested for 6 months to know its side effects, and saying everyone on Earth should take them. Vaccines are usually tested for 7 to 10 YEARS before public release, not 6 months. Who is he to dictate that people should take any vaccines? He has zero medical training. What does he want if not a reduced world population as he claimed?

So go and line up for his ''covid vaccine'', you hear?

Mumu slaveboy feeling funky.

I am still waiting for how many people the vaccine has killed.

It is acting like they know when they know nothing and even in the face of professionals who actually know telling them otherwise that makes me laugh the most. Each time I need a laugh, I just come on here to see their comments.
I was involved as part of the Oxford vaccine research group and worked on the frontline and even got the vaccine very early myself. The moment the U.K. government made it available to health workers, I had it and it didn’t kill me. Multiple studies upon studies published in reputable journals showed that but the half educated people buying using bonus airtime from etisalat and Mtn knows better. What a world we live in.

See these fools that the government is subsidising their education.

Let them pass this bill quickly and only exclude students of Private Universities from it.

Let them introduce student loans for those interested on becoming doctors. So, instead of working for 5 years, they can pay off student loans if they get the funds before 5 years.

Then, let politicians be banned from receiving medical care abroad. Let them stay here and ensure the services of these young doctors.

They are fools? Ever heard of nurses leaving in droves? Ever heard of the reason why bank transactions aren’t reliable and you are not certain if your transfer will go or not because IT people are leaving in large numbers? Now think about it, those people didn’t have their fees subsidised too? Now go back to your comments, still makes sense to you? You see the foolery in your comment now?

The point is, it helps to mitigate brain drain from the US in an essential field like medicine. Same will help Nigeria too.

We have the brightest minds on earth but we loose them rather easily after subsidizing their trainings.

It doesn’t mitigate brain drain in any way. There is no evidence of that! Uk has the longest postgraduate specialty training and has the largest number of doctors leaving to other countries among the G8. What journal has published evidence to back up what you are typing or all of a sudden everyone is a specialist in medical education now? I will like you to share those evidences. How is it hard to put things right in the country? How is it hard to demand for better working conditions from the government? How hard is it to speak in one voice and ask for better pay? How hard is it to develop other sectors as healthcare is multisectoral in nature? All these are well studied ways to mitigate brain drain.Nigerians will not demand that from government but form having ideas on Nairaland once issue arise.

If you desire to practice in UK or US as a medical practitioner why not school there and pay huge fees for your training?
Why get your education in Nigeria with taxpayers money and end up not being useful for Nigeria?
The hospitals in Nigeria aren't equipped ;Yes. So also the airports, seaports, the roads are bad etc but if the country manages to train you to become a doctor it behoves on you to manage to practice there.

An important bill! The US does the same through the 7 years RESIDENCY programme that is Mandatory for anyone that wants to be a practicing doctor.

Looks like most people now want to go study medicine in Nigerian universities so as to be able to run away the next year after graduation!

That's not to take away from the need for the Government to provide proper financial compensations and facilities for our doctors!!!

Stop saying what you don’t know. Better to be quiet. I am a senior doctor myself. No such rules exists in the us. Most of the colleagues in the gulf states are American trained. Let’s assume he doesn’t even own a bank but you will stop using a service because the owner supported a candidate different from yours?
Where do they get you people from? Who raised you up?
Did he stop you supporting the candidate of your choice?
Did he stop your from voting?
Did he stop your vote from being counted?
Does his support for his candidate disturb your support for yours?
And what will stopping your accounts do to him?
Tell me my friend, how are you different from the thugs on the street?
If you find yourself wanting to hurt any other person because they have supported someone different, you are no different from thugs and agberos.
