Rawdeal: Vampire diaries for now up to the latest episode. Watched pretty little liars bt I'm tired of it.have you tried Arrow, Revenge, Suits, Wolf Blood, Misfits, Torchwood, Sherlock, Endgame or Hung? |
Just-ME:I agree. they finally and actually made a flick worth its hype. |
purplespecimen: Novels are way more interesting. But I' must say the producers of "game of thrones" did a wonderful job. The movie made the characters in the novel more real especially Tyrion Lannister the dwarf or half manyou are spot on about Game of Thrones. Making it a TV series and not a movie helped infuse a lot of the story into motion pictures. The amazing part was the casting. whoever was the casting manager loves the books because he/she was so accurate. Tyrion Lannister and Lord Baelish as the as Khaleesi of the Doth Raki and heir to the Targaryan iron throne are by far my favorite characters, on paper and screen. |
I can't decide. I enjoy both. however in some instances like Twilight, Percy Jackson and The Olympians, The Hunger Games, and a few others, the books were way, WAY, better. Has anyone noticed that Hollywood rarely churns out original screenplay motion pictures any more? every movie is based on something now. Watch out for Beautiful Creatures. I read it last month and was shocked when I saw a trailer for it on Monday. Its a perfect blend of magic and forbidden love. Where Harry Potter meets Twilight. |
@balogunsam bro, Ainol has done it again!! now they have 10 inch tabs and a quad core tablet......the Flame II, senior bro of the former flagship slate of same name. I'm checking reviews as we speak. |
balogunsam: hahaha....yes sir. its impossible actually. the 7 inch alone is 40k but has a single camera,1gb ram,8gb FDD,IPS screen,Bluetooth.thanks for replying HIM. I was surprised to find out he WASN'T kidding. Asus transformer / Lenovo tab specs for the price of China construct. LOBATAN. A |
igbo2011: That dude is also a singer I think he is on EME with WIkid, Banky W and Skales.no he's not. he's just good friends with them. he remains unsigned. |
Alenkakent: hello bro... i need perfect, white, about 10" android tab with more that 1ghz RAM,more that 32gg internal memory, keyboard, bluetooth, wifi, sim slot(call enabled),dual camera,earpice,and.... for not more that 30k... kindly send me a picture of it to infotechdave@gmail.com if you have...i will be waiting to hear from you sir, tahnks.you're kidding right? |
ItsModella: 1. Avatar (blue aliens speaking some weird language? I don't dig at all)without sounding insulting, if these intelligent movies seem boring to you, what are the ones you actually loved? |
Nkonadi: Afrikaans - Ek is lief vir joufor the Ukrainian, its Ya Lyublu tebe (3 words) not yalleh butebe. Ya tebe kokhayu is also the other variant. |
ogbeche77: Now I know common sense is not common... You call 3 idiots trash..I weak for that Guy oh. some comments from people here are practically begging to be insulted. the whole point of this thread has been defeated. |
mejai: dstv is d worst among all.... Feel like buyin local antenna now.ermmm, exactly how does dstv correlate with this topic? it would do you good to steer clear away from the TV completely. you might be having some side effects. |
dabossman: That's the point those of you who make this assertion all miss. The Bond movies starring Daniel Craig have actually taken us to the very beginning when James Bond was a crude and ruthless rookie agent. Casino Royale for instance is actually the first James Bond story. Quantum of Solace also digs into the past of Bond. We are seeing James Bond before he became smooth and full of finesse. Finally!!!!! someone who gets it! you've made Ian Fleming proud. some peeps don't realize that it was based on the books. I'm glad someone sees the merit and essence behind casino royale. |
Okija_juju: Anybody wey get problem with the movie TAKEN needs Jesus!Amen to that bro!!! chop knuckle for that! |
mojounited: Fixed!in my opinion, all those movies are good flicks. Can't remember how Perfect Stranger was over hyped but they all worth their merit. |
gossips: 1. The Hunger Game (kept waiting for it to start, never did)Granted, The Hunger Games only made sense when I read the book and watched the flick again. Then priest was , in my opinion, a mockery of the Manga. On the flip side, I strongly disagree with you on the others. John Carter was sensational due to the mix of civil war era America and technological know how. The blend made for a nice flick. The dialogue was also very nice. I guess Hollywood is still having trouble transforming books, cartoons, games or comics into sensational hits without one having to go back to the source for mental reassurance. Battleship gave me chills because I never knew how they were gonna transform the Hasbro game of the same name and make it into a good flick. In my opinion, they passed. |
omodapson: Could you tell me anything fascinating about those films? How do they affect our day to day living? The last time I checked, they all belong to a certain genre called Fantasy which has no direct impact on our lives. Those movies are at best celebration of technology and nothing more. In my books, they still remain over hyped but Avatar is still ok sha.dude, these movies are purely for the pleasure thrill of dialogue with technological or magical sequence. That's what makes it Fantastic. if you're basing the quality of a movie on how it affects day to day living, I guess you'd better stick to dramas based on true life stories. |
