If yes, I really don't see why this isn't the preferred system for everyone. It would work perfectly for me, as power backup.

Credible installers dey, but installation is always haphazard and ultimately ugly.

If we can install these things and keep wall mounted cables away from view this will be good.

Unfortunately we cant. So for confirmed 5 years warranty from a reputable place (Not one place that one tiktokers will carry me to create content because i complained about after sales service) , that Huawei ESS from Fouani is top of my mind.

Yes I do, but i've never seen a clean install of those Inverter and battery setups.
They are always horrible and i plan to install the inverter in a corner or my living room so i cant afford to have those ugly installations with breakers and changeovers and external trunking everywhere.

I have followed this thread for quite a bit and I'm popping in to ask what your general thoughts are on all-in-one systems.
Thinking of acquiring the Growatt or Huawei from Fouani, mostly for the expandability and neater installations.
Does anyone have an experience with any of these items?

Personally, i would do a Delta 2 and get an expansion battery or simply do a Delta 2 max rather than a Delta 3. Point being that the inbuilt inverter capacity and battery backup are exactly the same, only difference i can spot is the newer design and maybe longer software support. However, they both do exactly the same thing from where am sitting.

I was just about to go for the Delta 3 (Because it is expandable to 3kwh with the Delta 2 Max extra battery) when i stumbled upon the Cola Solar 3.6kw generator.

Now I'm tempted to pivot again (despite the quite ugly colour scheme of the Cola Solar) and i know i will miss the Ecoflow warranty and app support. But 3.6kw of backup for 1m is quite the bargain.

Delta 2 or Delta 3, that is what im considering right now.
They are all within the same price range
Sometimes newer is better, but sometimes, they aren't.

Buy a new one instead, that's what I would do. You can add a bit and downgrade to the Thermocool Oga. You'll need to make some sacrifices if you plan to use it like your current generator. By the way what's the total power of everything you use with your generator?

My Current Generator powers Fridge, Freezer and one 1.5hp Ac without much stress.
The bugging issue is the fuel consumption.
It sure does love a drink! Full tank is just about 11 hours.
A full tank is probably about 25 litres.

Just checked prices online.
The Oga Generator isn't just adding a bit.
It's about 358k from my searches.

I have a TEC Igwe 8100ES.
Going on it’s 8th year, but it’s now hemorrhaging oil during operation.
My Mech suggests I should get a half engine for it.
Circa 100k and a new carburetor and it will serve me well. Total cost maybe 150-160k
Now, the issue is, with this expenditure, I can buy a smaller Firman, TEC or others.
Are half engines good enough?
