Crime / Re: EFCC Arrests 37 Yahoo Boys In Owerri, Cars Recovered by Lushka(m): 12:41pm On May 03, 2019

These are really wise words. . .read it again carefully.

I wonder the kind of country we'll leave for our children .

A country where 60% of the mothers have their nudes on social media. . .

A country where 50% of the men are affiliated to a secret cult?

A country where divorce is a norm and children are left without homes?

A country where our children become internet fraudsters. . .because "that is daddies legacy"?

We as youths really need to have a rethink and plan for the future we want for the children we'll have.

History is a wicked mistress, she doesn't forget.

Else, the generation of the future will not forgive us. . .

We should be scared because the coming generation have zero chill. . .

They WILL do to us what we never had the balls to do to these men who sold our future since we were babies. . .

Stay woke ----

We overestimate what we can accomplish in One year, and underestimate what we can accomplish in Ten years.
You are a sage. Sometimes I get depressed by what I see. It makes me feel I'm doing much to make this money.

Politics / Re: Nigeria Is The 6th Cheapest Place To Buy Petrol In The World by Lushka(m): 7:55pm On Jan 17, 2019
flyca:
Why didn't you dig out this statistics when fuel was selling at N87?

How many oil producing nations sell more expensive than us?

What is the minimum wage in those “fuel-expensive” countries.

How many of these countries run their homes and businesses on PMS?

Lemme give you an example: An average family man “in a fuel expensive country” uses only about 10 liters of petrol per month. Fuel is not scarce and thus not adultrated. 1 liter is equal to 1 liter! No stories, no queues. Also it is well regulated. There are staff buses to take him to work. He also can use air-conditioned public transport to work. He needs no generator to power his apartment, or run his business. If he needs to travel out of town, he takes a well equipped, well-maintained speed train or he flys! 10 litres is okay for weekend outings and rare necessities.

Now answer me: how many liters of fuel (on the average) does a family man need per month in Nigeria? undecided

Is Zon-B-ism the best work you can do in this world?
I just like your analysis.

Story u think these pple give a toss about the common citizen??

As long as our youth has decided to remain dormant like their fathers and forefathers before them, they and their future generation will continue to suffer.

It will get to a time, Dead past leaders will be ruling Nigeria from the grave and pple will accept it becos they believe if they sing , shout and pray Loud enough their God will come down from Heaven and correct all the wrongs in Nigeria. undecided undecided
Sister, Nigerian youths are highly interested in politics but Nigerian political affairs are highly expensive for an average youth to dabble into. One will need strong sponsors to make impact and that will always lead to Godfatherism. Those old men made money from our commonwealth and will still hold us to ransom for a very long time to come. There is still hope if we can come together and agitate. My humble piece of thought though.

Family / Re: My Friend Wants To Chase Me Out Because Of Ordinary Milk by Lushka(m): 10:13am On Jun 26, 2017
MMotimo:

Humility is a virtue you should embrace. Your topic " ordinary" is a turn off. When somebody is giving you something they don't owe you, you don't get to dictate what is ordinary or not. If it were ordinary, you should have bought your own milk. The fact that you have a roof over your head after your eviction is due to their generosity and who knows how big the apartment is but still they invited you in.

If your hosts say an extra spoon of milk is too much to stomach and they are causing drama because of that, you have 2 options:

Start to buy your own food or contribute to feeding and hope they will allow you decide your own quantity of consumption
Leave their house

You don't get to decide what is ordinary in another person's house.
You nailed it. The Op sounds as an igrate and his write up oozes of a very arrogant fellow. The milk is jst his little annoying attitude that triggered the revolt....... "you even bought milk with your last card"

Lai Mohammed has gone farthest in the journey into dreamland.

I dont blame them. This is what you get when you install gerontocracy(govt of the aged) into a mordern nation like ours. These are grandfathers who retired from public service as far back as late 80's and early 90's and instead of staying retired, they jump into politics and our youths who ought to take charge instead jostle to campaign and vote for them.
They jumped into politics because they have the financial muscle (from looted funds in civil service) Nigerian politics is all about money. The youths are unemployed or underemployed and gerontocracy will continue unless the youths revolt cos it is just a hopeless situation.
