CORRUPTION & WASTAGE: Buhari And Jonathan, At
A Glance. FACT IS FACT.
1] Jonathan sold Petrol at N87 while Buhari is
selling at average of N300 & above, yet Buhari
supporters think Jonathan was more corrupt and
wasteful. 2] When Jonathan Budgeted N1bn for feeding in
Aso-Rock in 2011, and N517m in 2015, APC cried
wolf and now Buhari's budget for same is
N1.7billion. Yet Buharists are mute and still think
GEJ was more corrupt and wasteful.
3] Jonathan spent N1.4bn to service all presidential jets in one year while Buhari spends N6bn on same
in 6month yet Buharists think GEJ was more corrupt
and wasteful.
4] Jonathan gave more funding to education while
Buhari's 2016 budget favours Ministry of
information more than education yet Buharists think GEJ was more corrupt/wasteful.
5] Jonathan spent an average of N8million on each
international trip while Buhari spends an average
of N55million on each international trip, yet
Buharists think GEJ was more corrupt and wasteful.
6] Jonathan created Over 5.8millon jobs in 5yrs while buhari has sacked over 2million workers in
8months. Check Federal Bureau of Statistics.
7] Jonathan made Nigeria's economy the best in
Africa and No 1 investment destination &
quadrupled our GDP in 4yrs while Buhari has
dragged Nigeria's economy down to 14th position in ranking in just 7months.
8] Jonathan left Naira exchange rate @ N185 to $1
but Buhari with his Adama and Eve economics has
destroyed the Naira in just 8 months which now
sells at N315 to $1.
9] It took Jonathan less than 2weeks to select his cabinet including foreign based technocrats while it
took Buhari 6months to do same. Even with
indicted people and no single economist among
the 36 names.
10] Buhari claimed that subsidy was fraud (Who is
subsidizing who@) but buhari has spent N1.2trillion on fuel subsidy in the last 5 months and
still no fuel while all Buharists have suddenly gone
dumb.
11] Buhari/APC accused Jonathan of corruption but
have not been able to pin one stain on him, while
Muhammadu Buhari himself followed the crowd that entered into the # DasukiGate .
12] Under Jonathan freedom and liberty of
Nigerians was not determined by party affiliation,
but today under Buhari his perceived enemies and
political opponents are leveled with frivolous
allegations of crimes and intimidated with either the EFCC or the DSS.
13] Buhari does not have an Honorary WAEC but
bags an illegal Honorary (Ph.D) from a university
that have no PhD student and Not approved by NUC
and yet Buharists respect his NEPA Bill more than
GEJ's PhD. 14. Buhari used his secondary school principal's
recommendation letter to become Military Head of
State and again used Court Affidavit to become
President and no one reminded him that these are
the height of corruption. He Refused to declare his
assets publicly, suppressing the FOI and denied all his 81 election promises and stayed in the last 8
months blaming former leaders. Jonathan was in
that position, he never complained or blamed
anyone, but faced his work even when Buhari's
disgruntled brother ensured that Nigeria will know
no peace. JUDGE FOR YOURSELF. God bless GEJ!! God bless Nigeria!!!
God bless you.

Your pointless insistence that bailout is being received by APC states, and then you even go ahead to mention names of some APC states, this speaks volumes of your intellectual capacity. There is absolutely no point engaging with you. Thanks!
Obvious comprehension incapacity !

I mentioned states that was indicted for embezzling bail out funds and they are APC states, meanwhile your oga is contemplating more bail out for them.

A very unintelligent argument, such a shallow and unintelligent analysis.

A debt is a debt, the FG from August 2014 owed fuel marketers their subsidies running over N500bn and owing them indefinitely is certainly not economic wisdom or a virtue, especially when the importers had already downed tools leading to massive fuel scarcity.

Secondly, the FG gave out 'loans' in the form of bailouts to states owing salaries in order to ease the sufferings of the masses who were being owed several months of their salary. The FG belongs to Nigeria and represents the interests of Nigerians; if your own smart idea of good leadership is having the FG abandon its own people to die of hunger (even when it could do something), then my friend, your reasoning is quite pathetic. You probably prefer the people to suffer and die of hunger so you can have something to accuse Buhari of; such evil and repugnant way to reason.

Lastly you claimed the bailouts were given to APC states, that is another case of stark self-inflicted shameless ignorance you just exhibited there; out of the 27 states which were rundown and unable to pay workers, 16 were PDP ruined states. And even just recently, we've seen protests from workers in Bayelsa and doctors in Ondo lamenting the non-payment of over 5 months salaries; even Osun state has managed to clear a major chunk of its backlog. Meanwhile these are 2 oil producing, 13% derivation munching PDP states. But even after receiving bailouts, they are still asking for more; there goes the folly in your argument that APC states are taking bailouts.
Really !

Subsidy as at May 2015 was 160 billion, how come Buhari paid 500 billion alongside 750 billion bai out that was embezzled by Imo, Benue & Osun states.

The question which your govt has not answered is for how long do you continue to bail out despite the fact that the states are unable to pay your said 'loans' & asking for more.
Buhari is just spending & spending, borrows & keeps borrowing more to continue spend without creating wealth creation avenues.

On the contrary, your farmer has all the features of your GEJ.

By the way, I'm still unsure of the essence of this your farming analogy because I think it even helps buttress my own point. A lousy farm manager distributes all the grains in the barn to the people, the people eat, drink and make merry while feasting on their reserves and praising the farm manager. Fast-forward to the new farming season, there is a drought and a shortage of seeds to plant and even to eat. Coincidentally, the period of this shortage coincides with when a new farm manager takes over; and here we are, the best analysis and conclusion coming from some people who pride in their wisdom and intelligence is that, "when the former farm manager was there, things were good and we were eating, drinking and making merry. But since the new manager came in, we've been hungry. It must totally be the new manager's fault." No reference was made to the drought and no reference was made to the indiscretions and prodigality of the previous farm manager; such an interesting way to reason.
Buhari spent 1st day in office spending $3.5 billion of NLNG savings as compensation to APC governors in the name of bail outs to state who ended up squandering same. He also spent an additional N500 billion through supplementary appropriation. And this he spent from previous harvest without fresh planting.

If he hasn't got any plantable seedlings in storage somewhere, and then goes ahead to eat up all the fruits he made in the previous planting season, then that doesn't sound like a responsible farmer.

If this true, freezing a businessman's bank accounts is like a heft penalty.
Unfortunately, the person who made this decision did not consider the economic, business, and even political impact of freezing the bank accounts of a major employer of labor in this country.

He has not been arraigned, tried, and convicted in a court of law, yet some ethno-tribalistic and religious zealot masqurading as EFCC would yield the heaviest hammer on a suspected business man. BTW, trying people in the press doesn't work, go to court and obtain a conviction, before destroying their sweat and blood.
If anybody politicizes our billionaire job creators in this country, then don't be surprised that one day Dangote might wake up to find that a critical federal government has frozen his bank accounts based on a mere allegation.
I SMH for Buhari & Nigeria.

The difference between a child vs adult and between an educated vs uneducated person in the ability to think and analyse situations.

Once again I give you the same analogy; a tree is uprooted today and the leaves become totally dry after a week, that does not mean the tree was killed the day the leaves got dry (even though the leaves were still fresh a week ago). An averagely sound adult or and educated person should understand the import of this analogy as it concerns the state of the nation today.
Can you call a farmer who eats up the fruits of previous planting season without planting fresh ones to harvest be termed responsible?

Very shallow analysis and conclusion expected from only uneducated, unenlightned artisans.

Just like someone above mentioned, if you cut down a tree from the root, the leaves would still be relatively fresh, but give it a couple of days, and the green leaves would begin to wither and eventually dry off. In our case, the leaves had already began to wither even before handover of power; and after handover, it has withered even further.

No need for these explanations though, because only blockheads need this explained to them; and a blockhead will continue being one.

@ topic, no problems. The end will justify the means.

Governance is not a sprint but marathon.

Price of crude oil which is the main source of Nigeria's income dropped to it's lowest price in more than a decade.

Billions of dollars stollen by IB and his cohorts.

Reserves and SWF depleted by the same Ineffectual Clown from Otuoke.

PMB is on a mission to restructure Nigeria and it will take some time because it's easy to destroy than to build.

If not for PMB, what Greece is passing through would have been a child's play should the thieving cabals of GEJ and co still be in charge.
