For management a/c , the general textbook i notice most people usually use is m.a by adeniyi adeniji of yabatech/wyse . But i opined that since the introduction of the new sylabus the textbook has been degraded to tackle m.a exam due to review of the new scheme. If am to recommend, i wil use both the study pack + m.a by adeniji for foundation tips + workout mgt a/c by ade omolehinwa a high quality text + some operational research text aspect of d syllabus + t.lucy mgt a/c |
So sad i didnt write the last p.e 1 nov diet. For group a/c the study pack + financial a/c by akeju volume 2 and/or advanced f.a by innocent okwunosa also may be use.. For i.a.s/ifrs/sas aspect of the syllabus , i have an hard copy of a detailed ias/ifrs which i bought at unilag bookshop at d rate of #1500 (about 220pages). The study pack should be used for the remaining aspect of d sylabus. In summary .u cant use just a text book for f.a exams. I recommend d following - f.a volume 1 and 2 #3000 each by akeju, adv f.a by innocent, f.a.m.s 1 and 2 by r.o.i, adv f.a by aborede.. + d i.c.a.n study pack. Other text - accounting for special ventures by dare adekunle . |

5 NEWS Manchester United vs Liverpool Dirty tricks: Alex Ferguson urges ref to watch out for Luis Suarez on Sunday Luis Suarez celebrates his goal By David Maddock | 11 Jan 2013 22:31 Sir Alex Ferguson fears his Manchester United side could fall victim to Luis Suarez's 'dirty tricks' on Sunday. Manchester United take on Liverpool at Old Trafford and Ferguson warned referee Howard Webb and his officials to be on their guard for striker Suarez. The Uruguay international is already a hate figure among United fans following his racist abuse of Patrice Evra , and subsequent refusal to shake the United defender's hand before last season's Old Trafford game. Suarez dented his reputation in the eyes of many again last weekend with a blatant hand-ball in the process of scoring the winner in an FA Cup tie against minnows Mansfield. And United boss Ferguson is concerned his side could be on the receiving end of a controversy involving Suarez in Sunday's showdown between English football's biggest rivals. "I just hope we don't suffer from some of the decisions that have gone his [Suarez's] way in terms of that," said the Scot. "To be honest, I never saw the game last Sunday, so it's difficult to say whether it was a deliberate handball or not. "But I think the lad is laden with controversy. I don't know whether he enjoys it or not, but it's something we hope we don't suffer from ourselves. "I think every club goes into it that way. When you go into a game of football you hope you don't get a bad break against you, maybe one that isn't justified. "Things happen so quickly. For the referee and the assistants to pick up... he doesn't have the benefit of watching a replay like we all do, and therefore I think it's a lot to do with the speed of the action these days. "We want it to be a good game on Sunday. Over the years, the Liverpool and Manchester United games have been relatively free of controversy." Meanehile, Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers laughed off Ferguson's attempts to influence the referee, insisting: "I hope that WE don't suffer the same decisions that went for United earlier this season." In that game, United won after Jonjo Shelvey was controversially sent off, and Rodgers suggested it is his side - and particularly Suarez - who are too often treated unfairly... "We hope we don't have the decisions go against us that went for United. In the first game a sending off and penalty cost us the game. I hope they don't get the decisions that can influence the results. "I really felt for Suarez last week. He got absolutely vilified for the handball, it was ludicrous the amount of stuff that was said against him. "I knew the Mansfield chairman had had a few drinks in him. But you can tell from the reaction of some players and people in the game this week... it's unfair on Luis." Rodgers though, believes Ferguson's obvious attempts at mind games will fall on deaf ears at Old Trafford tomorrow, with referee Howard Webb far too experienced to fall for such unsubtle tricks. "I believe Howard Webb is a very good referee, well established in the Premier League and who refereed a World Cup final," he said. "I'm confident the game will be decided on quality and not a referee's decision." Meanwhile, Liverpool captain Steven Gerrard has admitted he wouldn't confess to the officials if he scores with his hand on Sunday. Ferguson believes arch-rivals Liverpool, currently 21 points behind the Premier League leaders, face a long battle to return to the summit of English football. Liverpool last won the title in 1990 and have watched over the past two decades as United have increased their own total of domestic championships to 19 - overtaking the Anfield outfit as England's most successful club. United, who hold a seven-point lead at the top of the table going into the weekend's action, have their sights set on a 20th title, while the extent of Liverpool's target is a top-four place and a return to the Champions League. Ferguson reckons Liverpool counterpart Brendan Rodgers should count himself lucky that the club's owners and fans have shown patience as he bids to turn around their fortunes. "When a young manager goes to Liverpool it's a challenge," said Fergie. "Kenny Dalglish going back was a challenge for him. "Anyone going to the club at the moment, it's a challenge, because they haven't won the league for 20-odd years - a long time for a club like Liverpool. "So for anyone going in there it's a challenge and it's difficult to measure any Liverpool side at the moment with the Liverpool sides of the past. "Patience is a rare commodity in football and if he is getting it, then he's very lucky. "I think that it's terrific if the fans are prepared to be patient. It's going to require patience, because it's a long road back to where they used to be." |
to be realistic he (van persie ) doesnt deserve this award.. The 16goals he scored so far included penalty whereas luiz suarez 15 goals so far exclude penalty.. In terms of assist of goals suarez has created more assist than any other player in d epl so far.. Also suarez in terms of independent surpass that of r.v.p.. What is good in attack, dribble , fight for goals, created for chances and score goals without anybody to assist him..whereas rvp is a dependent player.. |
