PoliticsCharacteristics Of An Average Nigerian by lwise(op): 7:26am On Oct 17, 2008
WHO IS AN AVERAGE NIGERIAN

Xteristic of an average Nigerian:

1 Earns below 10 dollars a day,
2 He/she must be selfish i.e.love his/herself more than his country(not ready to sacrifice his life for his fellow Nigerians),
3.Strong affinity for Naira,
4. Ready to cheat at any given opportunity,
5. Desperate
6. Always shifting blames to others
7. Always praying for opportunity to eat out of the National cake and reserve some for his/her generation unborn.
8.Dreaming of going to America oneday,

U can add to the list.

I feel like crying anytime I think about this.If I may ask what is so special about these white men.Nearly 80% of the company owned by white men in Nigeria are enslaving their workers. How can a company be paying their worker N7000 naira a month with HARD labour. That money is nothing to write home about compare to the work they do and the risk involved.I don’t want to mention companies cos I have about six on my list.I don’t blame them much but for the selfish Nigerian who present workers to them as casual staffs thereby taking the larger part of the money.
I have a guy in my area,he’s a younger brother to my friend. He studied industrial chemistry,he came to Lagos for his six months IT.He was in Lagos for a month and half without any placement b4 he decided to work as a casual in a chemical company around Ikeja. He resumes by 7:30 am and closes around 5p.m.At times he runs night duty. After a month and half his appearance changed infact you can hardly recognice him physically but if he talks you will know hes still the one.
He latter fell sick, I mean seriously sick.
We later realize that where he works hes exposed to chemical which he inhale on daily basis.
Nairalanders, this guy nealy died it only took the mercy of God.
Imagine a company own by foreigner, the funniest thing is that they don’t allow thing like this in their country.Their are some indegineous companies that are worse than this. What are the Nigerian labour congress doing, to me they are there SLEEPING busy doing nothing for the workers.
The condition of service in some companies is totally out of it.This are the critical area the NLC should look into.
………………can this country be better than this………………
But we all know the problems of this country and we have millions of people that can analyse the problem of this nation from A to Z.So many proposals have been submitted.
WHATS HAPPENING IN THIS COUNTRY…………….

PoliticsHmmmmm! Can We Have A Better Nigeria…: I Doubt It. by lwise(op): 8:36am On Oct 15, 2008
I was coming back from church on a Sunday afternoon,I heard a prayer point from a church close to my house that God should send a messiah that will change the condition of this country. I thought about this for several hours that same day.
We have millions of people, I mean the big boys that are making cool money from the woes of this country. They are ready to KILL anyone that blocks their way, they are so devilish, desperate and ready for anything that may come after.
Who are the big boys, those that have private refineries, those that ships in Generators, those stealing our crude oil, those importing iron/steel and cement, godfathers of the politicians e.t.c.They have money and power.Presidents decision is subjected to their thorough scrutiny. They are ready to frustrate the effort of the government that refuses to dance to their tune.
They shed innocent blood at any time to achieve their goal.
They are so devilish! They are our enemies!
Nigeria can ONLY move forward if and only if we get rid of them.BUT HOW…….
If we are not ready for a change we shouldn’t be disturbing ourselves with prayers when we know the evils we commit individually.

PoliticsRe: SSS Invades Channels Tv by lwise(m): 10:58am On Sep 18, 2008
FG should pardon Channels for their unprofessional act.
What channels did is dangerous for a like Nigeria.Infact this shows that
most of the news in our media are not reliable.Im happy that I saw some typical examples while reading through pples reply. It better for news agencies to verify news before broadcasting it.
This is inportant bc of the effect it may have on the society.

CareerRe: 60% Of Bankers To Lose Their Jobs? by lwise(m): 3:17pm On Aug 26, 2008
A word they say is enough for the wise

Hi all,

Recently there have been reports of many bankers and telecomm workers slumping at work, issues with blood clots, and other health issues. Recently two staff; one in Zenith and another in UBA; recently died and this could have been avoided. The staff in UBA slumped on the staircase and passed away and the Zenith staff died at a party she and her husband were attending. Cause of death?   Both staff had been working for more than 6 months without leave of any sort. The lady had been complaining of leg pains, not knowing she had a blood clot in her leg. She had been massaging the leg for sometime, which the doctor said added to reasons why she could not be saved. The UBA staff had been working, also without leave and working all hours of the day and weekend. Presently another banker is in Igbogbi undergoing physiotherapy for a slipped disk due to his sitting position and long hours at work. Apparently Igbogbi is full of bankers and telecomm workers undergoing different stages of physiotherapy.   Let us all try to take our lives a little more seriously. The following tips may help us;   *         Always take 75 minutes breaks in between work. Walk around your office or along a corridor for a minimum of 5-10 mins     to ease kinks in the neck and back. *         Drink a lot of water during the day to work your kidneys and make you get up to go the loo. *         Always have your complete lunch break; in case you are not aware, this is for an hour. *         Always endeavor to exercise for at least 20 mins a day, and *         Most importantly, please take your leave within every six months. It does not have to be the whole of your leave, it can be            a casual leave for a couple of days. This will ensure your body is replenished regularly.
