For the study route, the best form to show POF is liquid funds in the bank account. Any other POF can be secondary.

After graduation, you stand a chance of becoming a PR if the eligibility is met. You can always apply for PR via the PNP or CEC route.

You don't need return ticket. You just need VR at POE for the minor to start school. Except you actually want the child to come back.

Check the condition of your ticket and call the customer service. Generally, you should be able to pay the return ticket (or cancel and book again).

one more question. the morning of the journey, must she buy a return ticket from egyptair or she can just buy a ticket from another airline? like just a ticket from Toronto to lagos for the vv minor?

Study visa will not require return tickets.

For the child on VV, don’t buy the ticket until the morning of departure. I used a $CAD credit card.

I bought it this morning because all airlines allow you to cancel any flight you buy within 24 hours of purchase.

As soon as they let them through, I cancelled it.

In my case the VV was 1 year old, so I bought an adult ticket and added her as infant.

I had to buy a ticket before they were allowed to board.

I will be cancelling the ticket after they arrive.


I suggest you buy a refundable ticket for the return leg. And it is only applicable to the VV holder.

One way tickets are RARELY cheaper so there's no point.

Cheaper tickets you have to try other airlines e.g African airlines Egyptair, Ethiopian airlines, Kenya air,
Then note you might still need transit visas if they connect to some European countries.
Lastly it will take longer by far to get there.

The fact is that their staff that collected the certificate from me is no longer with them. And I left their office without a copy of the certificate as there was no single paper to do a photo copy which I even offered to give them money for copier paper. To think that I traveled all the way from East to Lagos for that is another problem of its own.

3 weeks. how? mine took more than a year with more than 20 emails back & forth.

1. The stockbroking firm
2. The registrars to the company's shares
3. Cscs Plc.
Among the three parties the bulk of the work is at the registrars office. The broker intiates while cscs receives after the job has been done at the registrars office.
At the registrars office, they check and scrutinize the ownership by confirming your signature among other things. If positive, they send the outcome to cscs and your shares are deposited electronically in your cscs account.
The time it takes them to do this is what gives the duration of demat process basically.

Most of the stockbroking firm will send out your certificates within three days and they just keep waiting till the registrars answer them.

However, all things being equal, without any irregularities from the investors details with the registrars, demat process is three weeks max.

mine took a year & 2 weeks to be dematerialized.

I doubt anyone can get EE at this age unless the person isn't the principal applicant(younger spouse) or trade/specific profession or PNP to EE.At age 43, you only get 17points for age. No matter how much you have in IELTS, or highest education or work experience or even a sibling in Canada.At best low 400s in points.There's a job offer or PNP somewhere to crank up that score, or the just recently introduced specific draws(like bilingualism) for it to work.

Most 43year olds will hardly meet these requirements.

Didn't say it's impossible,. its difficult.
