Music/Radio / Re: NBC Bans Wande Coal's 'Go Low' Video by lynxpro(m): 2:28pm On Sep 02, 2012
redcliff: These NBC people are just fulls. That's why we can never grow cos we are always pretenders. Many of them in the so called NBC commit lots of immoral atrocities. There's always something to be learnt from everything that happens. Either good or bad. This is the more reason our minds are not exposed and opened. I would only support them if it was really graphical but apart from that they should let it be.. Imagine banning a song because it says 'enter the place and see if you no go carry bele too'

Poop people..

So your point is? That we glorify immoral atrocities?
I'm yet to see the video anyway.

Politics / Re: Nonso-Maduakor Wrongfully Charged For Cynthia's Murder by lynxpro(m): 4:48pm On Aug 29, 2012
KDULAR: The guy by selling that drug DID NOT contravene any law or act in Nigeria, the police is just feasting on ignorance. Though as as an intern, he's supposed to be working under supervision. If anybody has a contrary aproof to show his culpability please state. He and oxfam pharmacy ARE SUPPOSED TO BE SUING THE POLICE NOW

Well I'm not sure about the law aspect. But it beats me that sedatives according to you do not require a doctor's prescription. Benzodiazepines are known for drug-drug interactions with fatal consequences....and that added to the fact that its metabolized by a highly polymorphic enzyme. I still don't agree its right to dispense such drugs outside a doctor's supervision viz a prescription.....the last time I checked even diazepem has been taken off the regular stores.

Nairaland / General / Nairaland Makes Him Sick! by lynxpro(m): 8:00pm On Aug 21, 2012
Hello friends, I like to point out the extent of sadism I've noticed in posts of many nairalanders. Most threads I've read here are filled with hate and abusive words that makes me wonder if being black is actually a disease.....you probably know the saying...~out of the heart's abundance, the mouth speaks~...
Interestingly, this disease appears to be contagious! I'll like to have the views of experts in the house.
Religion / Re: If Heaven Is Real Why Are Christians Afraid To Die?? by lynxpro(m): 11:38am On Aug 20, 2012
Death was not meant to be joyful experience, otherwise God would not have pronounced it a punishment for Adam's disobedience and hence every human repulses death, including the 'suicide bombers'. But then, over the ages, Christians have died for the faith and many have done so too in recent times.

@OP will you gladly cut yourself with a knife? Afterall the wound will heal eventually! So it is with death.

nagoma: This is mainly stratocumulus cloud more like a frontal precipitation type than the convectional rain. Nobody has ever seen an angel before so you can't say what an angel looks like.

How can you be so sure nobody has seen an angel before? Have you met every human alive to know that?

Poems For Review / Re: Nairaland's "The Poet" Competition by lynxpro(m): 11:53pm On Aug 05, 2012
~a life~
Tonight the stars did come alive
Brazen in beauty across the skies
While I lie beneath this dream
Gazing through to me amidst the light

The night soon fades in time
Flights of the dark before twilight
A dawn that steals the calm of a sleeping world
So do my dreams to shinning lights

Moment of beauty framed in frailties
Fault lines at the heart of history
Hanging life on clutches of memories
And quietness on the faces of pictures

Life lives on wings of deeds
One powered with passion and goodness
Emblems that outlive death's shallow gates
In a love city that lives in all men
A life

Politics / Re: GEJ's Racist Comment In Trinidad And Tobago by lynxpro(m): 10:10am On Aug 04, 2012
Mr.chippychappy:

The difference is those countries you mentioned did NOT openly call for DOMINANCE . Sure they are working towards dominating the world (China are on the verge of doing tha) but at least they concealed their intention . I am in total support of black empowerment and domination , i mean we can't always be at the bottom of the "food chain" , we need a say in this world too don't we ? But we should use words such as "dominance" behind closed doors . When an american president says american wants to maintain "partnership" with Africa they actually mean american wants to continue their dominance of Africa grin . Same words , different meanings , different intentions .

I feel you jare....but right now we have a presido that does not give a damn.....so we all might as well not give a damn about diplomacy. Lol

The only fierce attackers I've seen so far are nairalanders. And besides, who's not trying to dictate the world's pace at the moment?...Americans? Chinese? Russians? Germans?....so what's wrong with the call for a blackman to join the race?....abegi free the guy jare!

Politics / Re: N13.4B Fuel Subsidy Fraud: 1st 20 Suspects Named by lynxpro(m): 10:23am On Jul 25, 2012
chucky234: When are we going to start to see these people to go jail for their crimes? EFCC as we all know is a govt tool, its too early to celebrate or applaud the effort of this govt as this is no different from all the list of indicted persons EFCC has released in the past without any of them prosecuted till this very day.

This same EFCC arraigned Dimeji Bankole in court for stealing billions of public funds but we all know the ending and that case and many of other cases involving high profile officials.

By way has anyone heard of the Farouk/Otedola case and how many commitees setup so far to investigate the bribery scandal?
That's where EFCC should start their prosecution because Otedola has forensic evidence that is required for anyone find guilty to be put in jail, its not a case that is suppose to be investigated since Farouk accepted receiving the said bribe.

This same EFCC arraign Ibori and we are all witnesses to the outcome, we need action and not unending list of criminals.

PPRA,NNPC,Diezani and the entire management of those agencies are all involved in the subsidy scam, there is no way trillions will be paid to marketers with Diezani's involvement.

Bode George with 140 count charges was given a 12 month leave and Nigerians believed he was sentenced,a man who deserved to be locked up in prison for 20 whole years, who are these incompetent men of EFCC deceiving?

I will never take any of those lists serious until I see people prosecuted and put in jail by EFCC,till then they are acting scripts to me

I am watching and patiently waiting to see the end of this drama.....

I think our Judges have a big role to play at this point else we have another Ibori saga who had to be convicted abroad.
Politics / Re: EFCC Dumps Lawan Committee Report by lynxpro(m): 2:06pm On Jul 21, 2012
Poor write up. Is the writer of this article expecting the EFCC to tender the probe report in court to nail the indicted? The probe report was always going to be a framework. Law courts convict, and to get such convictions, the prosecuting bodies need solid facts to back up their claims hence the need to perform a thorough investigation. So I think the EFCC is doing its job as expected.

texazzpete: You gullible people really rile me up!!

See people spouting nonsense like "GEJ is a democrat" and "Nice one GEJ"

If GEJ knew all along that Oshiomhole was an 'outstanding performer' and 'dynamic, focused and purposeful' , why did he allow his Vice President Sambo and his aide Anenih to go to Edo State and try to drum up support for a PDP challenger in a PDP traumatised state?

Rubbish.
You would have expected him to campaign against his party?....where is your common sense?
