quickly:
From this thread you can see why Nigeria is anyhow.

The truth is based on agenda rather than reality

If you enter uber you will know that those drivers cheat the system. 100% of Nigerian driver want to cheat the system to their profit like they do in the Nigerian states

Me self I wondered how do Uber make money when the drivers are dishonest

Uber works in a honest country one driver will be working for 4 companies and charging all .

The main cause is Nigerians
Err you're wrong
People do doordash and uber at the same time abroad in rotating schedules
Ever heard of the phrase "multiple jobs" ?
People WILL always try to cheat
Heck even in china the death sentence imposed on corruption hasn't stopped people from looting 😄
The point is Bad government policies got to Uber finally
Throw in their increased taxes and cost of business you would understand why they left

In how many african countries do they operate? You have no idea of their model.
Oh my goodness
Alright prior to their current moves that would be 8
Now check well why is still operational in countries in excellent economies and government policies
Oh wait it's rocket science over here

Maybe i am because once businesses take massive losses unless you do like Enron in 2001 and lie that business will die
It's that simple
If i follow your logic then Shoprite left Nigeria because of Spar grin

Celebrities › Re: Atinuke Kareem Dies After Cancer Battle by LZAA: 2:50pm On Sep 02
Originalsly:
No doubt... all of the above help the spread. If we look deeper ... information was pretty much local but after 2000 the internet exposed us to what's going on worldwide ... the good and the bad .. introduced us to vices .. to porn .. to different drugs .. different lifestyles .. different foods and we craved to live the "better life"... copy without considering risks. Bleaching cream a typical example ... the faster and whiter it makes us the better... no concern about long term harm. ... nor the carcinogens and poisons in them. Then we have to consider the bigger cancer..... greed .... which has infected most doctors and hospitals. The priority is not about saving lives... but about making money... how much they can extract from you. Who were on NL long enough should remember our own DJ DOLA and how LUTH exploited him.... and us. They scare women into having annual checkups .. which was not done before 2000 ... and should they find a lump in the breast.... it has to be cancerous... that's money. I strongly believe this was the case with our now dearly departed.

My advice to anyone ... if you don't want to cut short your life ... even if diagnosed with cancer .... stay clear of chemotherapy ... that's a death sentence ... usually gone within five years.... not because of the cancer .. but the treatment. Chemo is slow poison.... itndestroys your organs .. especially the liver.... and I'll bet nine out of ten times ... the person dies of liver failure... but the death will be attributed to the cancer. It is wayyy better if you're diagnosed and do nothing than get chemo... but there are many wayyy better and effective treatments such as sour sop. Check the Health Section here on NL for more natural options Women.....lump in your breast?...leave it alone...it will go away if not cancerous ... will contain the cancer cells if it is.
Pretty sure p*orn was thriving in Nigeria before 2000 grin
Same with tats
It's just lack of morals in a conservative country really

Tinubu is a rare political strategist. He has somehow shaped much of the political atmosphere around him, while his opponents appear determined to repeat the very strategies that failed them in 2023, apparently expecting a different result in 2027.

Atiku is back to the certificate and drug allegations, while Peter Obi has returned to the churches with the familiar call to “take back their country.” Laff want comot my teeth. grin grin

So who killed christopher Wallace??
Gang members in retaliation to Pac's murder
Don't forget this was 97 and news travelled A BIT slower than it does today
Also Pac dissing Biggie and the Quad studios robbery already had a huge number of west coast folks against New York rappers
But ultimately Biggie went out there with very little security and was murdered

Diddy had nothing to do with Pac's death
Prior to this Pac was robbed and shot and his OWN bodyguard set him up
Pac beat up a gang member who happened to be related to this clown and the gang member whose street name was Baby Lane was killed not so long after pac passed
Diddy was just a freak nothing more
Infact if not for that Cassie video he would not be in prison now
As for this clown as someone already posted he kept running his mouth and saying he was among the killers of pac
Well he can retire in Prison grin

Continue to wallow in delusion, I no send you.

The era of nzogbu nzogbu is gone forever.
All the actors you mentioned were popular when piracy , oloshoism and nzogbu nzogbu were reigning supreme in Nollywood.
Today, they no longer get roles
Alaba and Iweka piracy is dead forever.

God has used Funke Akindele, Kunle Afolayan and other great actors of Yoruba extraction to flush out those vices I mentioned above.

Today, Nollywood belongs to the Yoruba the way it used to be before those people introduced piracy and nzogbu nzogbu
"Alaba and Iweka Piracy"
Your post laced with tribalism not only defies logic it also insults great producers/Directors like Teco Benson,Tade ogidan and Chico and Ben Ejiro
Not to mention great yoruba actors like Ramsey Noah,Omotola and Segun Arinze who played major roles in Nollywood.
That's why I always laugh at tribalistic posts like this
And finally I will say this again Funke Akindele and Kunle Afonlayan will never be rated higher than the aforementioned Producers/Directors
Know this and know peace
Shalom

Was wedding bell etc done in Yoruba language?
This is why Yoruba are way,way above you people. They project the two languages but deliberately give upper hand to their culture knowing that you can't beat Europeans in their thing.
Don't be ashamed of your culture, project it and your movies will come close in grossing to Yoruba movies. Can't you see that Asians,Indians and Yorubas are deliberate?
Do you know that Yorubas do not only lead Nigeria in movies and music, they lead Africa and they have been consistent and resilient.
It is all about Grace and talent.
They lead what and who in where and what?
This has to be a sick joke😄😄

I believe Ibos destroyed Nollywood.

I am happy that people like Funke Akindele, Kunle Afolayan, Toyin Abraham, Femi Adebayo, Ibrahim Chitta and others are being used by God to restore Nollywood
Funke Akindele included just go to any African country and ask them if they know those actors they will look at you like you have horns on top your head
But just mention Osuofia,Chinwetalu or Sam loco and see their immediate recognition
Why are you people hell bent on trying to distort facts na😄
