Politics ought to be a contest of ideas, competence and achievements, not a desperate search for technicalities to disqualify an opponent. When a candidate has nothing substantial to sell to the people, the temptation is often to spend more energy disqualifying the other man than proving one's own worth. That is not politics, it is intellectual bankruptcy.

On subsidy protest,thats the difference between tinubu and the others,1 is pragmatic,the other is timid,scared to take the hard decisions while tinubu is non if that.......we also don't want an obi that will be dictated to by obidients because he obviously can't control them and obidients have repeatedly shown they don't know whats best for the country.

I first flew out of MMA in 1987. The Airport was terrible then, I remember because my Nigeria Airways flight to JFK was delayed till about 4am.
Traveling for the first time, I slept at the airport. People that went with me to the Airport thought I was already in the US not knowing that I was sleeping on the floor at MMA.
The airport has gotten worse over the years and successive govt did nothing to improve the airport which is basically the gateway to Nigeria.
Under Jonathan, the Aviation Minister embezzled funds meant to improve the airport.
God.bless President inubu for all the capital projects that will improve the lives of Nigerians for generations to come.

Obidients dont want this and calk it a waste,they want their subsidy back so they can be buying fuel at 250 per liter and possibly free if possible because we have all the oil .

According to IATA,nigeria aviation industry supports over 200k jobs and generates about $2.5b and we still haven't fully optimised and developed that sector, obidients dont care,they only want subsidy back so they can be driving their cars from morning till night at govt expense and we should only be bothered about rice and beans on the table.

Our politicians all have skeletons in the cupboard.
This is not to defend PBAT.

It still boils down to the system that scrutinizes these elected officials.

However, integrity and honesty from the president is lacking and has put a huge dent on his credibility.
For a politician of such status not to be able to come out and dispel the continuous rumors is a very sad and unfortunate.

Having said the above, I can equally say that many ambitious men never passed through the four walls of Primary or Secondary school and still managed to get to the top of their careers.

Aare Afe Babalola is a prime example. In his autobiography, he stated clearly that he never went to primary or secondary school but he taught himself and wrote the GCE examinations and passed out in flying colors. After which he proceeded to pursue a legal career and later becoming the Attorney General of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

One thing that cannot be disputed is the fact that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu graduated from the Chicago State University which is enough to prove that he is educated and qualified to lead this country. His past leadership roles have been exemplary and that is what counts.

Nigeria doesn't need the most educated man but one who can lead with competence and take the country to the promised land.
