9jatriot: You guys make it look as if it is the catholic bishops that were attacked for stating their opinion about the state of the nation. When the bishop make their position known, the president replied that the dark days were over and that things were beginning to get better. How is that an insult? Or is it wrong for 2 parties to disagree? On returning mission schools back to them, the president referred them back to the governors in their respective dioceses; is that also an insult?
The bishops went to pass a message, and they were received. The presidency did not release any derogatory statement against them.
Problem only started when Cardinal Onyaekan went on air to claim that the president wants to win by any means possible. The question is, was that the opinion of the college of bishops that went to see the president or just Cardinal Onayekan's personal opinion?
How can a highly influential figure accuse a man of wanting to rig an election based on perception and not on any solid data?
The only persons who replied from the presidency were Bwala, and what he said was that Cardinal Onayeikan was not speaking for all Christains (Which is true) but maybe for Catholics, since he is a catholic bishop. Is that an insult also?
The other statement came from Temitope Ajayi, who stated clearly that in his personal view Cardinal Onaiyekan abused clerical privileges. He then went on to respectfully explain what transpired in the meeting and expressed shock at Onaiyekan's press statement in his interview with regards to the allegation of rigging.
If Onaiyekan had stuck to the issue of people suffering or things being hard, no one would come so hard at him. it is the allegation of rigging like a politician that opened him up for dragging. He can only blame himself for that. If he had stuck to what was said and not what he cannot prove then there will be no dragging. Seek help I mean it seek help Your case has gone beyond sycophancy E don dey enter express |

DrTee1: Let me teach you something. Catholic Priesthood doesn't end by taking up political office. What the Church does is not to defrock or liacize (yes, that's the word) Priests who go into politics. Rather, the Priest is advised to refrain from saying Mass or listening to confessions until he is out of the political office.
For me, I think it is a half-measure. Who is deceiving who? You people should please take your bolekaja and silly politics far away from the Church Don't try it This isn't Adeboye or Kumuyi Abeg |

Politics › Re: Sharing of rice, a product of a wicked & irresponsible elite - Priest (vid) by LZAA: 9:50pm On Aug 01 |
DrTee1: Shameless irresponsible Catholic Priest.
Sebi his own colleague Catholic Priest is the current Governor of Benue State. What did he do better? Sebi a Catholic priest like him was President of Haiti.
Sebi it is the people he peaches tho everyday that brought the rice to his mission house. Sebi je iya also sharing the rice to people - free, just as he received it. So if it was Atiku or Obi that brought the rice, he wouldn't share it? Is it about whose picture is on the bag of rice?
There's NOBODY that wants to be President or Governor in Nigeria today that wouldn't do things like this. The failure starts with the priest himself. It is the failure of their evangelisms and preachings that has messed up the society. They should go and get salaried jobs or open a business. In the past, Priests were secondary school teachers.
Useless people pointing abusing fingers at others, even when they are as complicit. If they call you Apcheat minions dumb now una go dey vibrate That man in Benue dropped his cassock when he became a governor but your lust for 3k has made you lot blind to research and common sense The CHURCH has never, can never and will never bow to partisan nonsense Now bounce |

gibberish: Unfortunately, Obi is not getting the memo yet. He has been selfish jumping from one party to another leaving his supporters who were banking on him to clinch the ticket of the party for various offices stranded. He will be hoping to see people marching for Obi like they did in 2023 but he will be utterly disappointed. He will know that it is not about Obi. It is about Nigeria. Obi is like an atom in the Nigeria structure. Very insignificant. Let me not say much before they say I'm talking gibberish. Slow down Your elder Apcheat members here have seen through the lamba 😄😄 |
