Emir Akanbi of Iwo formerly referred to as the Oba of Iwo has appointed Sheikh Yahquub Abdul-Baaqi Mohammed a Hausa from Zamfara state as his Prime Minister. The title Waziri is the Awusa pronunciation of the Sultanate title Vizier and it is the post held by the most senior minister in an Islamic State.

Emir Akanbi has declared Iwo as an Emirate and so has chosen the eminent Sheikh Yahquub Abdul-Baaqi Mohammed to advise him further on how to govern and administer Sharia law in his emirate.

Not much is known about Sheikh Yahquub Abdul-Baaqi Mohammed and how he became aquainted with Oba Akanbi, but feelers from Iwo Emirate say that the Sheikh must have be-witched the Oba into appointing him and turning the Kingdom of Iwo to an emirate.

The attention of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has been drawn to false allegations by a Mr. Reno Omokri, which was contained in an April 5, 2018 report published on the website of Vanguard Newspapers, titled: ‘APC secretly reaching out to me for friendship – Reno’.

The report shows that Mr. Omokri’s allegation is based on interactions he had on Twitter with one Philip Obin who manages a Twitter handle, "@APCNigeria”.

Recall that the Party had on several occasions distanced itself from the now notorious Twitter handle, "@APCNigeria” following unauthorised tweets and subsequent false reports credited to the Party on the outcome of the Benue South Senatorial rerun election (February 21, 2016) and an “Assessment Poll” on President Muhammadu Buhari Administration (May 31, 2017), among others.

Despite our rebuttals, Mr. Obin has continued to impersonate the Party through the Twitter handle, "@APCNigeria”.

For the avoidance of doubts, we wish to state that Philip Obin was one of the numerous youth volunteers for our party during the 2015 elections. He administered the Twitter handle at the time. But despite numerous appeals to him by various well meaning party representatives, to hand over the handle, Mr. Obin has refused and in defiance continues to use it to misrepresent the Party.

In essence, therefore, Obin’s interactions with Omokri are in his personal capacity and do not involve Party in any way.

Giving this latest incident, the Party is now left with no option than to take other lawful actions to restrain Obin from further embarrassing the Party. The general public is yet again reminded that the Twitter handle @APCNigeria is not a Twitter handle of the All Progressives Congress.

An All Progressives Congress (APC) chieftain has said Nigerians should exercise patience with President Muhammad Buhari as the administration will soon include the names of former secretary to the federal government, Babachir David Lawal and the indicted Director General of National Intelligence Agency, Mr. Ayo Oke on the list of treasury looters.

While Reading Daily Post , i also Learnt that Ali Saidu, an associate of Buhari exclusively revealed to Them in Bauchi in an interview...

He said, FG has not deliberately overlooked some of the APC supporters and members found guilty of financial crime under Buhari
administration, but was only taking its time to include their names.

” I think the exercise is reflecting on those who looted the treasury initially, not that APC supporters were spared by Buhari
administration. You should know that it has to start from where it started before reaching the current APC administration, so Nigerians
should wait and give Buhari benefit of the doubt,” said Saidu.

It could be recalled that the FG under Buhari had recently released the names of opposition parties who allegedly looted the nation’s treasury.

The APC chieftain added that the party will not be distracted in its renewed commitment to fight corruption and its determination to correct the ills
of the past.

According to Saidu, President Buhari’s decision to release looters’ list was not meant to witch hunt the opposition, neither was it meant to facilitate
his 2019 second term presidential ambition, but to attract economic development in Nigeria.

He assured that the FG was not leaving any stone outruned in its determination to include APC supporters in the looters lists

especially those found guilty of looting nation treasury in the fight against corruption crusade of Buhari.

A Northerner, Muhammad Ajah, took to Yoruba-owned medium, Tribuneonline.com to ask Igbos not to allow anyone distract them from Igbo Presidency 2023.

Sources reveal to LIB that she was allegedly murdered this morning April 5th along with her 4-year old daughter, Petra Nielsen by her Italian husband Peter Nielsen at their home in Ocean Parade in Banana Island, Ikoyi.
