Lagos was built for the most part by the federal government, and a massive part of its development today is directly attributable to its Igbo population. I am well qualified to school your school kid brains about the evolution of Lagos from a personal experience.

While taking anything away from equally hard-working Yoruba people, the women especially, you cannot match the dexterity and intensity of an Igbo man. Please let that sink in.

We are not matching anything. Life is about finding your comparative advantage and doubling down on it. We don't need to compare ourselves to any other tribe in Nigeria. That's why we double down on our intellectual capacity and that's why the tribe is doing well in almost all aspects of life. That's the difference. We are not doing music,politics, and education to match any tribe in Nigeria. We will prefer comparing ourselves with fellow Yorubas before even dragging anything with another tribe especially your people. And that's the difference. We are not doing something to want to spite another tribe. Which is opposite of what you're doing

If PDP win Lagos today all on going project will be abandoned and every developmental structures will collapse.

Lagos is where it is today because it is being ruled by one party and the Governor can easily be checkmated by elders of the state.

In some states Governor is Lord and Savior who can do and undo but that is not possible in Lagos.

Even the Governor sef na appointment. If he does anyhow he must collect. Lagos is too cosmopolitan to have a governor that will be focused on playing politics. Do your work and go.

The money needed to contest for presidency today how many under 40 have that amount of money. Do you think touring 36 states having agents in all polling unit in Nigeria is something that's built in few years. By the time the youth currently preparing to lead Nigeria is done acquiring all the political and financial resources needed to rule the country he his no longer a youth again. And that's the reality. Is Osinbanjo a youth? Let the youth Join the queue and pray to do better when it's our time.

They don't call you people children of h8te on nairaland without a reason. All politicians are dirty including everyones in your region. All you mentioned equally applies to the Atiku you're supporting. At least, the south west has the option of a Yemi Osinbanjo or even a Fashola. You won't be trooping to Lagos if your governor's built a sustainable region. I can't blame you Sha. Governance in the east is just ogogoro, vibes and Insha Allah!

Lagos alone has benefitted unprecedented infrastructural development under Buhari. For 16 years under PDP there was little to no infrastructural development.To the extent that Lagos allocation was seized and Tinubu even needed to put placards indicating Federal roads in deplorable state back in 04/05. The number of times Buhari has come to Lagos to commission a project is enough testament to the level of improved infrastructural development the region has benefitted. The question you should be asking me is what did Buhari do for south west that PDP didn't do for 16 years. That way we can have a better conversation.

APC will not use consensus for it's presidential primaries. PDP can do that but in APC it will be extremely difficult. That's the reality on ground. With the way things are going Jagaban and PYO might be the only two people that would contest the primaries and I won't be surprised if the ASO rock supports PYO. Either way it's a win win situation for the region.

I am a realist and this is politics nothing is assured. The problem with your people is you're not always logical when thinking politically. An adept follower of Nigerian political terrain knows Jagaban is the only politician that can match Atiku wealth for wealth, clout for clout and vice versa.

No living Igbo man has the capacity to defeat a Jagaban in an election today. And that's why Tambuwal said it's better PDP give the ticket to them because they are the only ones that can win election for PDP. And that's fact.
So people who knows politics well knows that Atiku vs Jagaban is fairly balanced and the little advantage Atiku might seem to have can be decimated if Aso rock plays the incumbency role very well like OBJ did.

But the problem, with your zone and it's people is you're so beclouded with hate that you cannot analyse a simple political scenario in Nigeria without sentiments. Acknowledging Atiku strength is not accepting defeat or anything, this is not the first time a Yoruba man will defeat a northerner in an election. The only P is that when it comes to logical political conversation you guys cannot last long because you're filled with hate. I don't support Atiku doesn't mean I hate him because after all he's old just like Jagaban. But you guys lack political logic that's why you hate anything you don't support. Same way you hate Islam and the north instead of judging people on a case by case basis devoid of ethnic and religion affiliations. That's where a Yoruba man is better. Same Fulani you claim we are slaves for is the same Fulani you are queuing behind.

Even if Obi becomes a VP in PDP. By 2031, for example it must have been the turn of the north in APC too. So if we follow the north deny SE ticket. Na cycle e go be. At the end of the day, that won't stop the SW from progressing. No be today we dey opposition.

From 2007 to 2015 we were in the opposition. And we played it well. In Lagos for instance we have been in opposition from 1999 till 2015. And we didn't suffer for it. The same way GEJ collected when he started misbehaving in Government is the same way ATIKU/Obi too will collect if they happen to emerge as president. If they don't do well. Na pen and paper go do the work. We no need to shout.

Supporting Buhari over GEJ was not hatred at all. It was where the country was as at that time. In 2015, Nigerians were fed up with the government of Jonathan. In the south west, can you point to any legacy project Jonathan did for Yorubas. But despite Igbos hatred for Buhari he his still leaving the south east much better than he met it. The MBB alone is enough clout. Now can you say the same for GEJ in Yoruba land. Can you also mention anybody Jonathan appointed in this region. It's simple 2015 was not politics of hate but what we needed at that time...

Now for you guys you abuse hausas and fulanis you also call Yoruba slaves for supporting Fulani and the north. That's the hatred we are talking about and the toxic nature of your peeps. Same is happening to Jagaban. Despite south west being very accommodating to your clan. You cannot tell me there's a natural love between Igbo and hausa from time immemorial. Yorubas are nation builders and we are more accommodating and welcoming. That's why you will see more Yoruba - Hausa, Yoruba - igbo relationship than Igbo Hausa relationship. And all these things too matter in politics. A northerner will naturally head west than go to the east. Same way an Easterner will naturally head west than go to the north. That's how we built our bridges even away from Politics. Even in marriage we no dey Carry religion for head. That's the reason Tinubu and Fashola both have Christains as wife's. We don't practice cancel ✖️ culture like you people do. And thats what humanity should be about respecting people for who they are first before religion or tribal affiliations.

It's all about politics. The only way APC will retain power is to hand it to South South candidate. This would make them win votes from SS/SE and even SW (they wouldn't have any practical option). The only moral place to cede the ticket is SE but this is politics, the party is not strong there. SW has no moral right to ask for presidency now but they have positioned themselves well for the ticket. The truth is that no single region can win presidency. Voting blocks in Nigeria remains North/SE-SS/SW. Any of the two combined would defeat the third.
The SW media wing is actually pushing Igbos to demand for presidency from PDP and Igbos shouldn't fall for this. Reason is this, apart from the bad blood caused by IPOB, APC is the incumbent party. Why would APC Kaduna leave APC candidate to vote for PDP SE candidate. A SW presidency means a longer wait for SE (16years).

The political move SE can make now is to join forces with Northern PDP and win 2023. Build bridges and position themselves for 2031. Be ready to get jabs on nairaland from SW that Igbos are only good for vice presidency or are Fulani slaves. Don't be moved by these. That's the only solution and Yorubas played it in 2015. A Yoruba candidate wouldn't have stood a chance against any SS/SE candidate of PDP in 2015 as the incumbent party would have deployed their machinery to crush them. They wouldn't also stand a chance if PDP is incumbent party in 2031 with an Igbo presidential candidate.

This is the truth an Igbo with his emotional part wouldn't want to hear or a cunny Yoruba wouldn't want people to know.

And by 2031, Yoruba joins forces with Northern APC to deny SE the ticket? How you see am? God's willing the political gladiators in 8 - 10 years time are the Minister's, Governor's and Senators of which the SE is doing little to have chain of leaders with actual political clout. The east should be building relationship in politics and not play politics of hate.

The failure of all other states is the reason for the prevalence of all you mentioned. Remember Lagos doesn't have financial autonomy it needs. Do you agree with me that the amount of money states like Bayelsa get from the federal government should be enough to make Bayelsa a very viable place in such a way that Bayelsans don't need to move out of their states a lot. Same applies to the south east. Today the okada business is dominated by northerners that flee the north due to hardships and insecurity over there. Tell me if the north is fixed will there be influx of northerners in SW and Lagos? No! That's why the failure of Lagos in some aspects amplifies the greater issue we are faced with whereby other states are not in other.

Have you ever wondered why South westerners don't move to other part of the country as much as other regions do? Because the states are viable to a large extent. So if you complain that Lagos is dirty and all of those I can assure you someone from your local government of origin is also at fault.

When it's currently taking us almost 7years to get a B.Engr another 1 year of NYSC and another 4 years to be Coren Registered. When you get it, you will naturally want to flaunt it. It also serve as a means of making money because everyone knows you're an Engineer. In an industry, filled with quacks it's better to add it before you start hearing "I never knew you are an Engineer"

The only difference between our own and foreigners at least in my Engineering domain is

They will just put F.E or P.E at the back of their name which means Engineer in Training or Professional Engineer. Which is the same as adding Engr. to your name in Nigeria which means you're COREN registered. But they don't do things like Engr. Prof. XYZ. I don't like that one sef. It's better to go with Engr. XYZ pH.D

Buhari started well with many hopes... The #body_odour era. There was almost constant light and many sectors sat up but with time, he revealed his true colours.

But wait... Why do you all like circulating leadership? These are same people who had been in power before, yet Nigeria is upsidedown.

Politics is not an easy thing. The likes of Atiku and Jagaban last served in 2007. But what did they do, they found a way to remain relevant in the grand scheme of things and that's the trick. It's not about someone being old or something. It's about reality no technorat like they call them either wike, or peter obi or Osinbanjo or Fashola the younger generation can match any of Atiku and Jagaban in terms of political clout and financial base needed to contest for Nigerian president. It will take a miracle like GEJ own to find someone strolling into Aso rock.

Nigerian presidency takes several years to materialise and that's what people don't understand when Tinubu said it's a lifelong thing meaning he has been carefully planning for it. Same reason Atiku is not backing down despite losing in the last 3 elections.

It's only God that can help us. This is just the plain reality of Nigerian politics where the strong shall always choke the weak.

Yaradua was on an upward trajectory before death cut him short. Despite, the fact we are doomed with leadership in the country. I expect the likes of Tinubu or Atiku who at least are educated to a large extent, to be able to make some corrections. Buhari doesn't have the intellectual acumen to direct some of the things he had in mind.

Lagos has never runned out of idea and innovatism since the days of Tinubu and that's something our federal government lacks. Even when there was a artificial cash crunch aided by OBJ in Lagos State, Tinubu at that point still found a way to raise Lagos internally generated revenue to an unprecedented high level. Thereby making Lagos not totally dependent on FG. Agreed, the task of governing Nigeria is a much bigger project. But I can bet you Lagos is the perfect training ground for such a big post.

I heard a guy @vikgreen01 asking u if a 3.5/5.0 can make 3.0/4.0 together with his poly grades of 3.5/4.0 as he transferred as direct entry student into the university… I also had similar issues I had 3.70/4.0 in poly and transferred to a university where I ended with 2.87/5.0. I am also familiar with WES evaluation and saw where they wrote that a direct entry student will have to send his poly grades together with his uni grades, I don’t actually if they will eventually plus everything together.. I have also use the free iGP calculator on the WES website to calculate my GP starting from poly to uni in 5.5years nd I was able to arrive at 3.36/4.0. Since u are familiar wit the evaluation I don’t know if u can make an input to my confusion.. thanks!!!!

The evaluation might give more credence to your university grades with your poly grades serving as a support. But I have seen someone with 2.82 in university get 3.0+ after WES evaluation. It can boost your GP if the credit load you did is fairly balanced and if your last two years in the university is quite strong.

What of someone that transfer to a uni thru direct entry nd start at 200lvl.. although WES do say they should submit their poly grades alongside the uni grades for evaluation and i heard a 3.5/5.0 will not make 3.0/4.0 and again I heard post grad point in the US start with 3.0 upward. With what I heard as to a 3.5 in a scale of 5.0 cannot make 3.0 in a scale of 4.0 can my poly grades of 3.5/4.0 sum up in the evaluation….

3.5/5 will definitely make 3.0/4 when we have guys with 3.3 and 3.2 making 3/4. I have seen a 2.92 sef. The thing with WES from my interaction with people that have done it is that you course load also matters and the last two years of university how strong it is. I believe you stand a good chance doing the Wes evaluation. People with 2.2 do WES evaluation and get 3.0/4.
