If APC presents a political novice then bye bye to APC niyen |
David160:Will they beat Atiku? |
Very tactical message. If APC do anyhow Na Atiku we dey go for straight. |
Tinubu's Calling is higher and will overcome every battle, hate and trepidation laid ahead of him. On your Mandate! He has been winning battles against bigger and stronger forces and this won't be an outlier. Olabiwoninu Jagaban! |
The one who gets the most insults becomes Nigerian president unfortunately! BAT! |
True them plenty for nairaland. |
ufotty2001:Number of churches is not a good metric to judge population. Because we both know how churches are being opened these days. Muslims worship in togetherness. If there's a big redeem church in your area that can accommodate all Christains in that area why opening smaller churches if truly your belief system is the same. That's the difference. So you can't use number of churches to judge. With the influx of Igbo into Lagos you might be right to say Christains might have an edge in Lagos. But when it comes to indigenous Yoruba population in Lagos coupled with Yoruba's from other south west state then Muslims have an edge. But factoring in the igbos then the story might change but the population is still balanced not lopsided like you have in the east and north. Go to government schools around and check the bio-data of most pupils and students you would get the answer you're seeking. |
pieces:If you're Yoruba Would you rather live with an Igbo Christian in the south east or a Yoruba Muslim in the south west? |
Cyynthia:Nonsense talk. You're talking as if Igbo Christians like Yoruba Christains too that much. Your agenda of divide and rule won't work in the south west. Can an Igbo Christian man marry a Yoruba Christain woman without any objection from you lots? We see beyond all these agenda's Igbos hate Yoruba's and Hausa's that's fact. On Nairaland here you people tag RCCG, Deeper life, mfm as Yoruba churches so where's the love? You don't even associate with White garment churches and you're talking as if there's one massive love between Igbo Christians and Yoruba Christains. |
This is will cause mother of all implosion from APC. Well this is a good window for PDP that I know... APC will self destruct with this move. |
I swear na noisemakers full this forum. Where are all those who said it was only Tinubu at the meeting? Una no Sabi anything una go just dey yarn nonsense. |
I haven't heard him talk about ASUU since he got into office despite ASUU being his primary constituency. And we have had at least one strike per year since 2016. |
Is he saying the likes of Aregbe and Amosun had a say in convincing Buhari than Tinubu who was the major reason APC was formed in tbe first place? Well I am one of the very few that won't vote for the VP even if he gets the ticket. Because I don't trust him. We all know Amosun and Aregbesola did not single handedly take the decision. Do they know Osibanjo more than Tinubu who made him his commissioner? People like this is does who I hate in real life they are quick to dismiss your help just because of selfish reasons. The same PYO that was always praising Tinubu at his colloquim. Well better PDP wins it and the south west lose than having another chameleon in power. Make everything just scatter. |
The kain money wey I get may too big for thief... |
Trash... Most qualified on what bases. Like Ngige said show us what you have managed before. |
Sheuns:Same thing with people that think Tinubu won't win since Osibanjo is the consensus candidate. |
Why are people complaining... To win Nigeria presidential election you must be a billionaire yourself or your clique is worth tens of billions... |
fyneguy:You understand the twist... This is the ruling party so there's more at stake |
If Osibanjo can claim the success of this administration as his success. Then he should be ready to deal with the baggages too... |
Shey ooni go vote for primaries ni? |
lexy2014:All this one is story but what I will tell you is Fighting corruption in Nigeria of today is a big scam that no current aspirant running can deliver not limited to Tinubu alone... Buhari that has been fighting corruption where is the economy today? |
Inspirer1:If Zulum is interested in vice president he will openly align with Osibanjo or Amaechi and actively work for them... And as of present, that guy is more committed to Borno than chasing VP. He has nothing to lose as he his winning Borno reelection. He can then wait for 4 more years when it would be back to the North if he his interested in the presidency. Currently we can all see how Dogara is visibly in Tinubu's campaign train. He his actively working for the vice presidency slot. So if Zulum is interested in being a vice by now he would have openly supported PYO or Amaechi. Shettima is his godfather and more or less a campaign DG of Tinubu. Tinubu hasn't offended the north and most of them see it as a payback time for what he did for Buhari in 2015 as echoed by Ado Doguwa, shettima and co. So it will take a great convincing for Osibanjo to convince them otherwise. |
lexy2014:Baba fighting insecurity and giving us a stable economy is the most pressing thing we need today. With what Buhari has shown us today. Anybody that campaigns with fighting corruption he his just deceiving the populace. Tinubu is not nepotistic, even in Lagos he gave foreigners chance including appointing igbos in state cabinet much to the disdain of citizens. That I can vouch for. And he doesn't have a bias against Christains. |
WhizdomXX:Tinubu just needs 3991 votes to win the contest which is easily achievable for him considering he has a stronghold in states with high voting power. The truth of the matter is Tinubu has more states that would vote for him from top to bottom than Amaechi and Osibanjo. And that's key, Tinubu will get votes in states that he doesn't even have a stronghold. The easiest way to beat Tinubu is for other candidates to pick a consensus amongst themselves and face him alone. That way it becomes streamlined. But if Osibanjo and Amaechi eventually contest it would be difficult Sha. Underrate Jagaban at your own peril Sha. |
Still the man to beat |
parkervero:He wasn't a totalitarian when he asked Ambode to resign as Accountant General of Lagos State to prevent him being sacked by Fashola over corruption issues? He wasn't a totalitarian when he brought the same unknown Ambode in 2015. He wasn't a totalitarian when he appointed Osibanjo as commissioner and VP. Bros find another thing talk. |
Web2020:You mean an Aries should withdraw from a race. You funny gan ooo... ![]() |
He has now forgotten that Osibanjo was also part of the government he fights against in Lagos... |
Esseite:Abeg don't ever compare Ambode and Fashola again... That's an insult to bring Ambode in a conversation with Fashola... BRF still remains the best thing that has ever happened to Lagos State. A Fashola that went has far as reviving Boys Scout, girls guide, Sheriff Brigade for secondary school students. A Fashola that created more drainage than any other Lagos governor. A Fashola that set up more primary health care center. A Fashola that reduced cost of governance and made all state civil engineers carry out road construction and maintenance via LSPWC. I am a Civil Engineer so I am very conversant with his works. Fashola was the only Governor who paid attention to every detail in governance. A Fashola that transformed places like Surulere etc. A Fashola that went inside Egbe, Ikotun and did inner roads like mad. A Fashola that made Lawma one of the most vibrant Lagos agencies. A Fashola who built Lekki Ikoyi Link bridge, started the blue and red line Ambode failed to touch, a Fashola who deemed it fit to reconstruct parks in the states and even cared for the environment by planting trees everywhere because Lagos needs it. A Fashola that even went as far as saying there should be a No Horn day. A Fashola that visited hospitals dead in the night. A Fashola who introduced BRT buses in full scale and gave them lane markings. A Fashola who empowered Lastma to go after traffic wardens. Brought policies like Wearing of helmet, No one way, and other strong legislations brought tenement to 1year as against two years each. Abeg don't ever compare Ambode with Fashola again... Fashola who wanted to sack Ambode when he was accountant general of Lagos State due to corruption issues before Ambode was instead asked to resign by Jagaban? Or an Ambode that gave all dirt's in Lagos to a 2 years old company called visioscape? Who stopped Red line and blue line and started chasing his own legacies? I was in and around the Oshodi interchange when he built it but I can tell you the red line and blue line would solve traffic issues more than the Oshodi interchange. Which was what Lagos needed at such a pressing moment. Fashola was committed to making Lagos a mega city. He even launched the 767 and 112 emergency numbers then. Including the traffic radio. Fashola that would be describing your street like as if he lives with you. Ambode made all Lagos Engineers redundant. A whole ministry of works was turned to a department. Gave out contracts and kept moved engineers to Surulere. I am too in the streets not to know the works of Fashola compared to Ambode. Imagine constructing drainage inside inside Ejigbo. The homes he built in Igando, Oshodi are still there. He started Ilubirin Ambode didn't touch it after he left. If you know what Lasu was like in 2004/2005 you won't compare them. Fashola touched every aspect of governance. Opened up places like badagry and lekki. Fashola is heads and shoulder above everyother governor including Jagaban who battled and settled Lagos politically which paved way for Fashola's wonder. If Fashola comes out today for the race endorsed by Jagaban... Osibanjo CAN NEVER NEVER beat him. If they ask the both of us to write a 2000 worded essay about the governance of the State during Fashola and Ambode. I am damn sure I will floor you anyday anytime. |
Buhari really lowered the bar of leadership in Nigeria.... Now everyone thinks they can do better. His shoe is not even big to fill. The bar of leadership has been on a downward spiral a bit since Yar'adua died but Buhari has successfully shattered the bar. Now everyone thinks they can do better since he didn't perform well. |
I will even prefer wike wins... Make everywhere scatter!!! Wike is a vawulence comrade! Strong Man! ![]() When e dey sweet us, e dey pain them!!! When e dey pain them, e dey sweet us!!! |
Most of them need the post in order to remain relevant and if they even want to resign it would be so close to the primaries not now. |
