This is a very sad development at this point. These two tribes have been living in peace for quite a long time. Yes there has been cases of clashes between them in the time past, but were amicably resolve.

Share is predominantly Yoruba area while Tsaraji is populated by the Nupes. The two tribes have long settled along the major road stretching from Ilorin to Lafiagi. Hardly could anyone notice the difference between the two settlements when traveling along the road.

The present Governor of Kwara State is from Share, the Yoruba settlement area. It is a known fact that salaries have not been paid for some months now in the state. I hope this has not in some ways fueled the recent clash.

I hope a lasting solution could be found to resolve this conflict just as it was done between the Ife and Modakeke.

Conflicts and seseless killings is definitely not what we want now in the Country. So many innocent lives have been lost in recent years and we should apply for calm and show restraints at this time. We need peace and love more than anything else.

All money due to the Fed Govt goes into that Single Treasury Account (TSA) and no one can take money from it without. You can only pay-into it!

Withdrawal from it is monitored by the Accountant general of the Federation.
You are allocated a certain amount in the budget.
You need money to execute a project, you tell the Accountant General and he asks you to draw-down from it.
You can only take what you need, from it. No Excess. And it can be VERIFIED!
Tell me which "Head" of MDA or Governor will like that?

Under Jonathan, they just flouted the law as they like, even though it was a LAW.
Under Buhari, he has directed that they all COMPLY with the LAW.... or face consequences.

They have started to comply and hence the HUGE AMOUNT recorded as INFLOW, into the TSA Account.
