Sunday 7th March Pastor Chris Respond With Your Spirit For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation Whenever you meditate on the word of God, though it goes through your mind, which is the doorway to your spirit, it's actual destination is your spirit. That's why you must live from your spirit. Your head can't grasp the word of faith, for God's word is food for the human spirit. Your response from the word should be from your spirit. Hebrews 10:38 says, "Now the just shall live by faith, " Faith is the response of the human spirit to the word of God. If you don't meditate on the word, you really can't have faith, and without faith, the challenges of life will overwhelm you. But God's word in your heart, energizes your spirit to know that anything is possible! For example, when a sick person reads Peter 2:24 that says ", by whose stripes you were healed," he ought to immediately respond form his spirit by rejoicing and declaring, "Praise God i've being healed!" Though he may still feel pains or certain symptoms in his body, it makes no difference to the truth of God's word! Those symptoms are lying vanities that are subject to change. Learn to respond to the word of God with your spirit. The response of your spirit to the word will determine what you see in the physical realm. Your present circumstances or situation may be contrary to what the Word says, but cower! Keep the Word in your heart and in your mouth. Keep rejoicing and celebrating your victory, irrespective of natural circumstances, and your faith will prevail Confession I live by faith and not by sensory perception, for what i see with my optical eyes are temporary and subject to change. I respond to the Word with my spirit, knowing that true faith is of the spirit! I rule, reign and dominate from within, for I have learnt to dominate from my spirit. Halleluyah! @InesQor InesQor:the first question is for joagbaje to answer but if you want my opinion, Jesus had not died when he showed them that prayer and the holy spirit had not been given. but jesus told them that the holy spirit would lead them to all truth. mark you the church had not being born by that time, it was the holy ghost that had to teach them to pray. rigt now we pray by the power of the holy ghost. can you go before a demon possed person or a sick person and say lord may your wll be done. will God heal him?i concerning your other question about saul, God at times does some spectacular things but He's a principled God. He has laid down rules that He himself can operate. but at times he breaks out of it like in saul's case and especially when someone is somewhere praying for the salvation of that soul |

saturday march 6th pastor Anita PRACTICE REAL LOVE But whoso hath this world's good, and seet his brother have need , and shutteth his bowels of compassion from him, how dwelleth the love of God in him?My little children, let us not love in word, neither in tongue;but in deed and in truth.( 1 john 3:17-18), If you're born again, it's compulsory that you walk in love, and that love must transcend your mere talking about love into positive actions towards others. The latter part of our opening scripture in the Message translation says ", My dear children, let's just not talk about love; let's practice real love". Practicing real love means loving your brothers and sisters in the Lord, as Christ has loved you; " he that loveth not his brother whom he hath seen, how can he love God whom he hath not seen ?" (1 john4:20). So, you actually prove your love for God and towards him in the way you show love to others especially fellow believers. If you don't actually love those for whom Jesus died, then you really don't love God. Learn to help and give to others; genuinely care for others. Go the extra mile today to assist someone else. Never allow selfishness or self-centeredness any place in your heart. Always, at the slightest opportunity, do good to others. Remember that every little act of love or kindness you show to a fellow believerhas great reward, for you're actually doing it unto the Lord (Matthew 25:34-45) No wonder the apostle Paul declared in 1 john 3:16; "Hereby percieve we the love of God, because he laid down his life for us: and we ought to lay our lives for the brethren"(1 john 3:16). This means we ought to love others selflessly and unconditionally as Christ has loved us. Prayer Dear Father, I thank you for your love that's deposited in my heart by the Holy Spirit! That love radiates through me. Therefore, everyone i meet or relate with today will be blessed with your divine love as i consciously demonstrate it to them through my words and actions, in Jesus' Name. Amen Further Study 1 John 3:16 MSG This is how we've come to understand and experience love: Christ sacrificed his life for us. This is why we ought to live sacrificially for our fellow believers, and not just be out for ourselves. If you see some brother or sister in need and have the means to do something about it but turn a cold shoulder and do nothing, what happens to God's love? It disappears. And you made it disappear. James 2:15-17 If a brother or sister be naked, and destitute of daily food, 16: And one of you say unto them, Depart in peace, be ye warmed and filled; notwithstanding ye give them not those things which are needful to the body; what doth it profit? 17: Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone. |

-------------------- Subject: Train Yourself To Recognize God’s Voice – Friday March 5, 2010 Train Yourself To Recognize God’s Voice My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me (John 10:27). There’re those who don’t believe God still talks to people today like He did in Bible days. So when they hear someone say, “God talked to me,” it beats their imagination. “Will God leave all the busy things He has to do, running all the planetary systems and so on, to talk to you?” they wonder. Well, the truth is God loves to talk to His children. He’s a master communicator who thinks you’re important enough for Him to talk to. If you’ve never heard Him, maybe you’ve not been listening. It’s also possible that God could have been talking to you and you didn’t know it was Him. Remember the story of the little boy, Samuel. God called him three times, but he thought it was Eli the priest (1 Samuel 3:4-10). Why? Because you see, when God talks, He talks with the voice of a man, and a lot of times, He uses a familiar voice. When Jesus spoke out of heaven Saul of Tarsus (who later became Paul), He called him by name and said “Saul, Saul, why persecutest thou me? And he (Saul) said, Who art thou, Lord? And the Lord said, I am Jesus whom thou persecutest…” (Acts 9:4-5). Jesus had a dialogue with Paul in the Hebrew tongue (Acts 26:14), a language that Paul understood. God still talks to us today; in fact, He does every day! He can talk to you in a familiar voice, and in a language you understand. Start training yourself to recognize His voice. The more you study and familiarize yourself with God’s Word, the easier it is for you to recognize and respond when He speaks to you. Prayer Dear Father, I thank you for the special relationship of love I share with you. Thank you because your voice is always with me to guide and direct me in all the affairs of life. As I spend time in fellowship with you today, I become sensitive to your will and purpose for my life, in Jesus’ Name. Further Study Proverbs 6:20-22 My son, keep thy father's commandment, and forsake not the law of thy mother: 21: Bind them continually upon thine heart, and tie them about thy neck. 22: When thou goest, it shall lead thee; when thou sleepest, it shall keep thee; and when thou awakest, it shall talk with thee. Isaiah 30:21 And thine ears shall hear a word behind thee, saying, This is the way, walk ye in it, when ye turn to the right hand, and when ye turn to the left |
ogajim:we are not Jesus Christ, Jesus Christ is a person while Christ is Jesus and the church together, Jesus is the head of the church while we are His members We are Christs because we have one life with Him. Have The Faith Of God! – Thursday March 4, 2010 Have The Faith Of God! And Jesus answering saith unto them, Have faith in God (Mark 11:22) When Jesus said in Mark 11:22 “Have faith in God,” the literal connotation of the expression is: “Have the faith of God.” or “Have the God-kind of faith; the supernatural faith that God applies. This implies that you can apply the same principles as God did throughout the scriptures and be guaranteed the same results. For example, when God told Abraham, “I have made thee a father of many nations” (Romans 4:17), he was about a hundred years old at the time, and Sarah his wife, who was already ninety years old, apart from being barren had also reached menopause. Hence it wasn’t naturally possible for them to bear children. Yet, God told Abraham, “a father of many nations have I made thee” (Genesis 17:5), and called Sarah “mother of nations” (Genesis 17:16). This was the faith of God in operation; it calls things that be not as though they were (Romans 4:17). And true to God’s Word, the Bible says “…Sarah conceived, and bare Abraham a son in his old age, at the set time of which God had spoken to him” (Genesis 21:2). You’ve been called to operate the God-kind of faith. You too can call things that be not as though they were! Through your faith-proclamations you can call forth your desires and bring into existence your favourable expectations, based on the Word of God. Remember, as He is, so are we in this world (1 John 4:17); we can function like God; we can emulate His faith and have His kind of results. Confession I know who I am. As Jesus is, so am I in this world. I function by the same principles of faith by which my heavenly Father made the heavens and the earth! Today, by my confessions of faith, I’m framing my world and causing the circumstances of my life to be in sync with God’s perfect will for me. Glory to God! Further Study John 20:21 Then said Jesus to them again, Peace be unto you: as my Father hath sent me, even so send I you. John 8:28 Then said Jesus unto them, When ye have lifted up the Son of man, then shall ye know that I am he, and that I do nothing of myself; but as my Father hath taught me, I speak these things. |
Rejoice In His Unfailing Love! – Wednesday March 3, 2010 Rejoice In His Unfailing Love! And we have known and believed the love that God hath to us. God is love; and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him (1 John 4:16). The Master’s parable of the prodigal son in Luke 15:11-32 reveals the Father’s unconditional and unfailing love. In that story, after the prodigal son had spent all his father gave him on riotous living, the Bible records that he later scrambled for food with swine. One day, he suddenly came to himself and decided to go back to his father (Luke 15:17-18). As soon as his father saw him afar, he rushed out to embrace him. The first thing he told his father was, “Forgive me,” and his father did! This describes the love nature of our heavenly Father towards us. Once you repent and say, “Father, forgive me for what I did wrong.” He is quick to forgive because it’s His nature to do so. The young man’s father killed his “fatted calf” to celebrate his lost son’s return; an action that paralleled God’s sacrifice of His only Son, Jesus, for our salvation. When a believer who has strayed from the truth returns to God, He receives him gladly and establishes him in the right path. The believer will not be anything less in God’s hand; God would place him in his rightful place – an heir of the kingdom. This is why as a child of God, you should take advantage of the Father’s love; rejoice daily in His love, for He loves you unconditionally. Prayer Dear heavenly Father, thank you for your great love; thank you for your kindness and your mercies toward me; They are from everlasting to everlasting. I rejoice exceedingly today, knowing that your love for me is unending and perfect. I will today manifest your love to my world, in Jesus’ Name Amen, Further Study John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. 1 John 4:18 There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love. |
We thank God for a man sent fron God (pasror Chris Oyakhilome). he was sent for such a time as this, to build, nurture, admonish and to prepare the church for the rapture. Sir, i am glad to be identified with you you have affected me in so many ways my life has indeed be given a meaning now i can boldly declare the word anywhere i go. |
You’re A King; Say The Word! And hast made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth (Revelation 5:10). Jesus said in Matthew 18:18 “Whatsoever ye shall bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever ye shall loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.” Here, Jesus didn’t mean that as you bind something on earth, God does the same thing in heaven. No. He meant that when you bind something on earth, you’re making a decree, and that decree is upheld by God in heaven. God has made us kings, (Revelation 5:10), and the Bible says in Ecclesiastes 8:4, “Where the word of a king is, there is power.” As God’s words carry and transmit power, your words also have in them creative ability to produce for you a harvest of what you say. Sadly, not many Christians have operated in this power; some have only been used to religious Christianity, where they beg God for everything. You’re a king, and kings don’t beg; they make degrees. Job 22:28 says, “Thou shalt also decree a thing, and it shall be established unto thee…” The reason you can make decrees or issue commands and have them established unto you is because you’re acting on the Word; you’re taking your place as God’s kings-priests, ordained to reign in the earth. Quit crying or begging God to do something about your situation; decree the Word of God concerning that matter and effect a change. Take advantage of your office today; live as the king that you are; issue decrees and see them come to pass. Confession I declare right now by the power of God’s Spirit that I’m reigning in life- in my health, finances, job, and in every area of my life. The glory of God is manifested in me and I walk in the victory and dominion of Christ today. I manifest success, glory and excellence, by the power of God’s Spirit. Further Study Isaiah 44:26 That confirmeth the word of his servant, and performeth the counsel of his messengers; that saith to Jerusalem, Thou shalt be inhabited; and to the cities of Judah, Ye shall be built, and I will raise up the decayed places thereof: Revelation 5:10 And hast made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth. |
PASTOR CHRIS SUNDAY 28TH FEBRUARY LOCATE YOURSELF IN THE WORD TODAY! for He saith, I have heard thee in a time accepted, and in the day of salvation have i succoured thee:behold, now is the accepted time: behold, now is the day of salvation.( 2nd Corinthians 6:2) I remember a hymn we use to sing back then, and one of the lines says," O God our help in ages past, our hope for years to come". I got comfortable with the song after a while because i noticed it only referred to the past and the future, but left out something very important- TODAY! Some people find it very convienent to hide in the victories of the past and trust in the glories of tomorrow, but leave out today because they don't know how to take advantage of what belongs to them in Christ, in the NOW. Some would say ," Praise the Lord , Jesus died for me; He shed His blood for me 2000 years ago or He's coming again; I know Jesus will surely come back" Yes, He died for you (past), and He's coming again at the rapture of the church( future), but what about today?Between the past and the future is the present-a present where you have to pay attention to your health, finances, family and so on. So don't limit the blessings of God and the benefits of salvation to the past or sweet-by-and-by. Jesus died for a good life TODAY!. Find out from God's word your present-hour inheritance; find out what He has made you and given to you to enjoy in the NOW! Locate yourself in the blessings of God-in the benefits of your salvation and live in your God-given inheritance TODAY. It's good to know what Jesus did for you in the past, and what awaits you in the future, but don't neglect today. Decide today to be the best you can ever be; let today mark a new begining in your perpetual story of success; let it be the bench mark for a continious life of victory and progress. Enjoy the best in life today, for your best in life today, your best in life NOW. Prayer Dear Father, thank you for the present-hour revelation of your word to my spirit which shows me that i'm a victor, a success and a champion-TODAY;not tomorrow, or when we get to heaven, but right now. I walk in the reality of this truth today and take advantage of my present-hour reality in Christ, in Jesus name. Amen Further Study Luke 4:17-21;Hebrews 3:13 |

The Transforming Power Of The Word For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart (Hebrews 4:12). God’s Word is the only ingredient that can transform a person’s life on all three levels – spirit, soul and body. When the Word of Good goes into your spirit, it has the power to make you what it talks about, bringing about a transformation. That transformation in your spirit will ultimately affect your tongue, causing you to speak in line with the Word and consequently chart the course of your life in the direction of God’s will. The Word of God can also transform your way of thinking as the Bible says in Romans 12:2: “…Be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind…” And then of course, the Word of God can transform your physical body: “My son, attend to my words; incline thine ears unto my sayings…for they are life unto those that find them, and health to all their flesh” (Proverbs 4:18-20). The word “health” is from the Greek word “marpe” which means medicine, showing that’s God’s Word will immunize you against sickness and infirmity. Make a personal decision to improve your life everyday with the Word of God, and your life would truly be an unending stream of success and progress. Confession Through the Word, I’m moving from glory to glory and making progress in every area of my life. I experience today divine transformation in my spirit, soul and body as I meditate on the Word, and my profiting is appearing to all, in Jesus’ Name. Amen. Further Study Romans 12:2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God. Pastor Chris Friday February 26, 2010 You Were Bought With A Price! For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God’s (1 Corinthians 6:20). Some people, when trying to explain the concept of salvation, use the illustration of a drowning man who was rescued by pulling him out to safety with a lifeline. That’s a misrepresentation of the salvation Jesus brought. A better illustration would be that the man had been condemned to death by drowning for his wrong. He’d been gagged, bound hand-and-foot, and about to be thrown into the raging sea. Then Jesus comes and says, “Don’t kill him; I’ll take his place and drown in his stead.” Jesus didn’t just throw him a lifeline, or send in divers, or swim the treacherous waters to drag him out to safety. No, He took his place of condemnation and drowned (died) in his stead! That’s the right perspective of the salvation Christ purchased for us with His own blood. So when you talk about Jesus saving you, you’re not taking about someone who delivered you from trouble. No, He saved you by giving His life for you. The salvation we have in Christ is serious business; Jesus paid a huge price by giving Himself in our place so we could go free. You therefore can't afford to live life the way you choose anymore, for a price has been paid; you’ve been bought. Now you belong to Him and not yourself. Many years ago, a Chinese brother was traveling on the same train with three gentlemen who wanted to play a game. They required a fourth person to play with them, so they asked him to join in. “I’m sorry,” he replied. “I didn’t come with my hands.” The men stared at him in astonishment because to them, he seemed complete, yet, he said he didn’t come with his hands. “What about these ones?” they asked. Then he replied, “They’re not mine; they belong to Jesus because He bought me with a price. Now I only use them for the things He wants done.” The Bible says you’re not your own (1 Corinthians 6:19). If you’re born again, you’ve been bought with a price and now you ought to live for the Lord, and follow His choices for you. Prayer Dear Father, I thank you for the complete salvation I have in Christ Jesus; thank you for sending Him to take my place. I recognize today that I’m no longer my own; I belong to Christ. Thus, I know my life is blessed and my future is guaranteed, in Jesus’ Name. Amen. Pastor Chris Thursday February 25, 2010 Don’t Wait For The Spectacular Jesus saith unto him, Thomas, because thou hast seen me, thou hast believed: blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed (John 20:29). A certain man hated everything about Jesus. His wife was a Christian but he wouldn’t let her go to church. One day, his wife went for a crusade close by, without telling him. He got furious and stormed the venue, combing through the crowd in search of his wife. Suddenly, a loud cry rent the air and everyone turned to see what had happened. They saw the man shouting, “He’s real! He’s real!” Apparently, Jesus had appeared to him and let him know his sins were forgiven. It took an appearance of Jesus to make the man believe, but he didn’t have to wait to experience something that spectacular for him to believe. It’s like the story of Thomas who didn’t believe the Lord had risen from the dead until He appeared to him and said, “Thomas, “Put your finger here and look at my hands! Put your hand into my side. Stop doubting and faith!” Thomas replied, “You are my Lord and my God!” Jesus said, “Thomas, do you have faith because you have seen me? The people who have faith in me without seeing me are the ones who are really blessed! (John 20:26-29 CEV). You don’t have to wait to experience the spectacular before you believe God loves you and wants to fill your life with goodness. The only evidence you need is His Word. Remember, the Bible says, “Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen” (Hebrews 11:1). Don’t wait to have your pocket or bank account filled with a lot of money before you declare your prosperity in Christ! Don’t wait for the symptoms to disappear before you proclaim your healing! Declare that you have life, health, peace and joy NOW, and your faith will produce results! Confession I’m a new creature in Christ Jesus, awakened to the fatherhood of God. All things are mine because I’m Abraham’s seed. I look through the eyes of faith and see my glorious inheritance in Christ! Further Study Hebrews 11:6 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him. The Glory Within – Wednesday February 24 Pastor Anita The Glory Within Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the LORD is risen upon thee (Isaiah 60:1). When the Bible says “The glory of the Lord is risen upon you,” it refers to the glory within! It’s a spiritual terminology that shows that God has bestowed His grace upon your life. It’s the outward manifestation of an indwelling divine influence. God has called you to the life of glory, which is beyond the earthly realm. That life is the manifestation of His glory: the perfections, beauty and excellence of divinity resident in your spirit! This therefore means that the glory of God is in your spirit, not on your head. Jesus walked and lived in the glory of God everyday while He walked the earth. The people living in His day saw God’s grace mightily at work in Him and testified to it: “And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth” (John 1:14). God wants you to shine in the beauty and excellence of His grace which He has bestowed on your life. He wants you to excel in your job, academics, projects, relationships and all that you do, until the world begins to wonder at you. The way to make this happen is to meditate continually on God’s Word, for the glory is in the Word. Before long, that glory will rise from your spirit and be evident in your life; through your words, deeds and ideas. Confession My life is an expression of the glory of God within my spirit. Today, I am moving form glory to glory and excelling in all that I do. Many are coming to the knowledge of Jesus Christ through the radiance of God’s beauty upon my life. Hallelujah! PASTOR CHRIS TUESDAY 23RD FEBUARY SACRIFICE OF PRAISE! By him therefore let us offer the sacrifice of praise to God by continually, that is, the fruit of our lips giving thanks to his name (Hebrews 13:15) The sacrifices of praise are the confessions, declarations, psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs of glory, grace and goodness of God that we make unto Him. It’s different from saying, “I praise you Lord, I just thank you for everything”…praise is more than that. Praising God means giving thanks to His Name for definite reasons. In the Old Testament, the priests offered specific offerings to God; they offered sacrifices of burnt offerings and burnt incense, according to the specifications of the law. We also in the New Testaments are admonished to offer sacrifices of praise to God and Hebrews 13:15 clearly describes the Content of the sacrifice we’ve been called to offer: “By him(Jesus Christ) there-Fore let us offer the sacrifice of praise to God continually, that is, the fruit of our Lips giving thanks to his name.’’ As you worship the Lord and adore Him, making confessions to His Name, you’re offering unto Him the sacrifice of praise. As you offer quality praise and Present your body to Him as a living sacrifice, you send forth incense unto Him, and His presence rubs-off on you and overshadows you. Prayer Dear father, thank you for your word, the entrance of which has given me light and understanding today, concerning true worship! Thus, from the depths of my heart this day, I worship you for your goodness and grace towards me, I thank you for making me an heir of the eternal salvation you wrought through Christ Jesus. Amen. viaro:34 Jesus answered them, Is it not written in your law, I said, Ye are gods? 35 If he called them gods, unto whom the word of God came, and the scripture cannot be broken; John 10:34-35 (KJV) 1 And the LORD said unto Moses, See, I have made thee a god to Pharaoh: and Aaron thy brother shall be thy prophet Ex 7:1 (KJV) (moses was referred to as a god by God self him) @Viaro, i have read your reference scipture, that was a message sent to the chaldeans concerning their idolatry. God was saying that both they and their worshippers will be destroyed; and idolatry shall finally be destroyed from the earth; and the heavens shall look no more on so great an abomination committed by them. SO LET THEM CALL THEMSELVES GODS, THEY ARE ONLY WALKING ACCORDING TO THE SCRIPTURES! THIS MESSAGE IS FROM ONE( A GOD) maybe you should study more and with other translations and referenced bibles too ![]() |
