I support the scrapping of the post ume due to my previous experience from the exam. In most schools nowadays they (vc's and staff) turn the schools to their state uni. Admission is given to majority of the indigenes even though they dont pass the p/ume, the only criteria is just come from the vc's state and dats all or just know someone among the staff. I persönally know a friend who wrote his p/ume weeks after the result came out. Aside from the stress involved in travelling around and monetary factor, the psychological damage to any student whom after all the reading and praying passes the p/ume but is still denied is worse, so the useless exam should be stopped

, its a pity dat in situations like this many will choose to be fools because they are naturally fools, if u like start callin numbers n sending emails or payin money into anyone's account, all na saaarah!! Nobody knows if d post jamb will actually hold since d house of reps havent reached a conclution, but all d same,be careful who u interact n send details to, may God help us all.

Its good to know dat individuals have taken it upon themselves to be a channel of blessing to many, i got info bout the university of ilorin tru dis great forum and ever since it has profited me greatly, i'm a prospective hundred level student suffice 2 say i'm a remedial student in the preliminary school which is runned same way d skool is runned n also by same lecturers, my programme started in febuary dis year 2010 n will be endin by june or july.i really must say i was surprised when i noted this, although u wont b told b4 hand bout this n you might think d programme to b a year kind of thing.anyway,d programme has really helped me n i must say dat it has helped improve my academic status, all admission seekers,if paradventure u dont get a placement in d university dis year pls dont overlook d remedial programme, u stand on a scale of 8 to 10 to get admitted, u can sit there & ask me why,how or when. I'll b glad 2 contribute my own quota to helpin out giv info.

Hmmm,does any1 know wat de cutoff mark was last year @least dat can giv us a clue wat to expect dis year.I scored 49% n i'm so so scared as to wat my fate will be.

this may sound as a shocker but the thruth is that the result is out, i just got a call from my friend dat he recieved a mail on the 23rd(a day after the exam) from unilorin containing his result.i tried checking mine today but just dont have the balls to do it, so i advice u guys should check ur mail.

@jacob,infact dat exam was, Let me not say, But i saw pple coming out of de exam hall wit no single smile on their face,Mostly because of de time frame of 20mins.Sha i believe say God pass dem n he wud surely crown our efforts wit success.

*sniffs*, Pls let nobody just disturb me ooo cos i dey vex, De exam pass exam.Infact,unilorin don show their colour.Imagine 40 hard IQ questions 4 just 20mins.De questions were mainly english though but de few oda questions were neck breakin, 4 dose of u who arent good in oral english i guess u're done 4 cos dats mostly part of de english.Current affairs came out in few pple questions but i dint see any in mine, Am just not in de mood to type,if u need info u can cal me.
Right now,i've just gat to sleep n get over de nasty taste dis exam has left in my mouth.

@alabi,ar u sure de exam u wrote last year was unilorin's exam cos i doubt it.Except u dont know wat de questions look liked.It was mainly 80% eng, 10% maths(number riddles) n 5% general studies 5%, I dont know how ur own take contain current affairs oooo!!!!
