And yes I know what subliminal messages are. If u have visited a porn site u would see that there's a section called BDSM so what I visit there. Does it mean I fantasise about it? It has no effect on me.
And I still say it's just a movie! Don't get me wrong, its not everyone that has much control over their minds, some people have feeble minds hence they can easily be manipulated, and not matter how strong a mind is,constant exposure to these visual may distort it.whatever you feed your eyes, goes straight into you mind, how do you think Terrorist are made?brainwashing and constant exposure to violent scenes, its the same way they can programme someone's mind with having physical contact with them.So sis don't get me wrong at all.its could be "just" a movie to you. |

Just like songs can in a matter of seconds change your mood,so does movies have very strong effects on the mind, lets take for instance,a kid watches Spiderman or The Expendables, the gun battles and violent scenes tend to filter into the kids mind, ever wondered why kids that watch lots of these kind of movies tend to like playing with toy guns its a mind control thing, soon it becomes a trend, guys will see it as a norm cos they've been programmed by these movies that you can make a girl or lady do anything even against her will once you have the wealth, you have the power. You can check Subliminal messages on youtube so you get a better understanding. |

mistabiola: WHAT YOU DON'T KNOW ABOUT SAMBO DASUKI, Nigeria's National Security Adviser:
In August 1985, the evening of the 26th to be specific, at a time when Nigerians were celebrating the Muslim festival and enjoying the public holiday, a soldier named Badamasi Babangida was executing his plans of overthrowing the Nigerian Head of State, Major-General Muhammadu Buhari. One of the soldiers who arrested Buhari at gunpoint was a soldier named SAMBO DASUKI.
After Buhari was arrested and his government toppled, IBB threw him into prison and handsomely rewarded Dasuki by making him his ADC (aide-de-camp). Sambo Dasuki was one of the four army majors that arrested Buhari at gunpoint that day. Others were Abubakar Dangiwa Umar, Lawan Gwadabe, Abdulmumuni Aminu (I have written on him before). Buhari was left to rot in jail for two years and this wrecked his family life so bad that it led to a divorce with Safinatu, his beloved wife upon his release.
While Buhari was also in jail, Babangida sent soldiers to ransack and vandalize his residence, in the process destroying some of Buhari's most valuable credentials and valuables.
Let me skip what happened to Sambo Dasuki and his father the former Sultan of Sokoto under General Abacha to today. He has been appointed as the National Security Adviser to President Jonathan and you really think Sambo Dasuki will want the elections to go on and Buhari become the President of Nigeria? Think again, what is going on has nothing to do with PVCs or bla bla bla. It is all about the interests of a few people strangling the country. I think all Nigerians should remain calm and read more and see how the game is played with the destinies of the almost 200 million of us. Things are not always what they seem to be. Hmmmm....Truth be told,The story of Nigeria, the more you look, the more you uncover and the less you see,so many intrest over the destiny of Nigerians.God's will alone shall prevail... |

Politics › Re: Chadian Aircraft Bomb Nigerian Town In Anti-Boko Haram Raid by macaphan007(m): 1:24am On Feb 01, 2015 |
sevule: This is completely SHAMEFUL and the height of FOLLY! So we now have to rely on CHAD to win the war against Boko Haram? Chad fighter jets can just waltz into Nigerian airspace and bomb Nigerian villages at will?? Is this what the "giant" of Africa has become? A country too scared to deal with its own problems that it has to go to Chad? The same Chad that we have been giving AID to?? This is simply unbelievable!!!!
And to think that Jonathan asked for $1 billion to fortify our army. So the question now is where are the jets, tanks and weapons that were bought with the $1 billion? Or has the money gone to the same place that our $10 billion went? And before the money was approved I said in one of my posts on NL that nothing would come out of the $1 billion.
Spending The CIA World Factbook estimates the military budget of Chad to be 4.2% of GDP as of 2006.[1]. Given the then GDP ($7.095 bln) of the country, military spending was estimated to be about $300 million. This estimate however dropped after the end of the Civil war in Chad (2005–2010) to 2.0%[6] as estimated by the World Bank for the year 2011. There aren't any more recent estimates available for 2012, 2013. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Military_of_Chad
Looking at the above we can see that Chad spent only $300 million on their military in 2006 and Nigeria spent over $1 billion in 2006 and yet we DON'T HAVE FIGHTER JETS ? Am i the only one that sees how LUDICROUS this situation is?
Year Dollars Spent % GDP 2007 $1,239,000,000 0.6% 2008 $1,741,000,000 0.8% 2009 $1,825,000,000 0.9% 2010 $2,143,000,000 1.0% 2011 $2,386,000,000 1.1% 2012 $2,100,000,000 1.0% culled from http://militarybudget.org/nigeria/
Looking at the statistics in the past 4 years we have spent AT LEAST $10 billion on our military and yet we don't have fighter jets Yet we cannot equip our soldiers?? Yet we need Chad to come and bomb our villages?? $10 billion spent and nothing to show for it?
Our situation is like Bill Gates begging an unemployed graduate for $50!! And that is not even to talk about the violation of our sovereign territory as a nation! How can any right thinking Nigerian celebrate another country bombing our villages But this is what the current government in power has reduced us a nation to. A nation of beggars!
Isn't it the same Nigerian army that almost single-handedly ended the conflict in Liberia? In a saner climate the president and all the top military brass would all be in jail for criminal corruption! Well said brov, well said, imagine We should be striped off that name "Giant of Africa" cos now we are like a mouse running scared....chei see falling of hand!!! where the 4trillion go on Security in the last 4yrs $10billion haaa.!.! |

Now Chad has stepped up their game and they even breached our air space without getting authorisation from the clueless govt we have here who are busy asking Buhari to provide his certificate for over 2 weeks. Now this Govt has made us the laughing stock. They had better save face now and send in equipments to those gallant soldiers before Chad takes all the glory and we are forced to loose the Chad Basin to France just as we lost Bakassi. |

reporter1: The writing is on the wall. Only sycophants are left around Jonathan. All the heavyweights have decamped. He will lose and he will lose big time. Buhari will win decisively.
Here are the facts today.
1, NW, NE are in the safe corner of Buhari. Jonathan will not get up to ten percent in any of those states.
2, NC will be split but Kwara will tip the scale in favor of Buhari
3, SW: Buhari will win all of SW states given how Yorubas want change. It's not a Buhari factor per se, but Yoruba nation genuinely seeks for a better Nigeria, and it's rather obvious that Jonathan is not only clueless but very corrupt.
SS: Buhari will win Edo and will give a good account in Rivers and will show some modest gains over 2011 in the rest of SS.
SE: All for Jonathan. But .....Buhari will show modest gains over 2011 especially in Imo where Rochas is well loved and the ripple effect of Father Ejike Mbaka's thought provoking message will give Buhari some sympathy votes especially from those who want a better Nigeria who are not blinded by religion or tribal affiliations.
Jonathan should start packing his bags. It's high time he went back home.
He has done more than enough damage already. Hopefully, Buhari can start crating the looters of our commonwealth. I wonder if Nigeria is sane. *He locked up the house of rep from the entrance of the CONSTITUTIONAL speaker of that house. *7 law makers impeached a speaker in Ekiti in a house of about 26 men, and nothing happened. *16 was suddenly greater than 19 in base 10, just to cancel the one-term agreement he signed with the NIGERIA Governors' Forum and all Nigerians in 2011. *Subsidy has been removed and the standards in our hospitals have reduced with time. *$20 billion is missing and minister of Petroleum eats and dines with the prexy. *Another BIGGER & BOLDER subsidy is scheduled for 1st of June, 2015 and you may have to sell your laptop charger before you can buy fuel to charge that same laptop!!! *Last year, over 22 innocent Nigerians were killed in the job scam of Nigerian Immigration Service.
