Sweetnecta, why are moslems in certain regions still causing wars and killing so called infidels (christians, jews, hindus), and then blame the west for causing such atrocities.

The opening post, clearly outline the reasons why such command took effect, but now they are not applicable as they are historical events.

Are there any historical events as to why some moslem clerics preach that infidels must be killed regardless of where they are.

No wonder most moslem regions around the world are very brutal even to fellow moslems - Somaila is a good example. They country has been through countless wars over three decades.

I still don't understand why our moslem friends always like to use the bible when questions are asked based on their religion.
Could you please try as much to pick up references from your quran, it will help those people who are in doubt.

I never read that Mohammed is the comforter Jesus prophesied He will send.
By the way, if for argument sake Mohammed is the comforter, then this world will be a much better place than it is now - especially in Moslem dominated countries.

Another thing, most of the names that were claimed to be muslim prophets, were actually human beings like us, but their stories just make a stand out for our learning.

What about prophets like Elijah, Elisha, Daniel, Jeremiah and others, please show us their prophesies from the quran.

Why are you so keen in the bible, if all you do is twisting the words in the bible.
You can't grasp the eternal knowledge and understanding that is in the bible.

Sir, why do you have to make references to the bible, moreso, the old testament which is based on the how the Jews worship Yahweh.

This is completely different from the way moslems view, understand and worship the concept of the 'black stone' as described in the texts provided by the poster.

As this is a forum for muslims, I think you should make more valid references from the Quran to answer the question put forward.
Because to a layman reading your posting, he might think that you're a christian in disguise.

How will you explain in a clear and concise way, to someone that is trying to understand and may even want to take up Islam as a religion.

Still on my question on 'fatwa', why is it that the fatwa pronounced by the Iranian Cleric Ayatollah on Salman Rushdie (author of the Satanic Verses) is still binding on. Even though the cleric is long dead.

In your own opinion how long should a fatwa hold.

Also if a moslem had carried out the fatwa to kill the author, how will that be jusitified in Islam if you say there is forgiveness in Islam.

What happens to people that love today and then few years later are screaming hatred and divorce.
What really matters in a relationship is respect, understanding, patience, tolerance and selflessness.
Has anyone cared to ask our parents or grand-parents if love existed when they married, as marriage then is done within months if not weeks of knowing each other.

In the quran it is mentioned that adultery is punishable by 100 lashes, whilst in the hadith it is death by stoning which majority of islamic country follows eg Saudi Arabia, Iran, Afganistan, Somalia just to name a few. In your own opinion which is correct.

How do moslems differentiate if there is adultery, when men are allowed to marry up to four wives.

Why is it that moslems in some countries riot and killed many people (as it is always stated that Islam is peace) when Mohammed's name or so-called pictures are made reference to, a classic example the Danish cartoon newspaper.
