This view point is held by the deceived. In evolution, the man is supposed to be the go-getter, creating a conducive environment for the woman to cater for his offspring. The so-called 'entitlement mentatlity' is not a patriarchy thing but a norm placed evolutionarily in the mind of the woman to suit her for the purpose of raising children. She naturally prefers a man who would take care of her to that who is screaming 'equal responsibilities'! A man should strive to place his woman in a comfortable enough place for parental upbringing of kids. It is an evolutionary role that indicates the male quality of our species. The offspring of men more adapted to take care of their women would be favored for preservation above those of men/women fighting their own very nature and essence in the name of patriachy/feminisim.
