I think the problem is with ohaneze ndi Igbo. Imagine such a well formed body with any genuine goals or objectives

What should be done!

1. Ohaneze shd firstly clearly define and identify the various kingdoms in Igbo and only their head should b kings.
Eg Mbaise with 3 LGA shd hav a king, neighbouring villages that are small and singular shd b merged within a larger kingdom.
Eg emekuku is might not b in Owerri kingdom but shd b added to it since it is too small and singular to stand alone and hasn't got a lot of difference in culture with d Owerri.

2. The present Eze we have in every autonomous community sh b made traditional prime minister , and the TPM of today deputy TPM.

3. The confferment of chief title and the actually chief shd by a kingdom's Eze and consel but wit an over riding authority from the ohaneze. Infact the ohaneze shd b informed, ohaneze carry out a vetting and subsequent grant an approval b4 one is given out.

5. For Igbo community outside Igboland, there shd b a TPM as oppose to Eze to cordinate their cultural activity. And there shd only b one TPM in a state with an nze in every LGA with population of Igbo of upto a certain number. In cases where they are less the TPM cud appoint a chairman if there location is far away from the nearest LGA with an Nze.

4. Ohaneze shd demand for standing order from the Igbo state or LGA of a % of revenue mayb 1 % , that shd go into their operation, administration and preservation of our culture and hereditry. This would help them b independent.

5. Ohaneze shd set up a say 5 years plan with measurable objectives and goals.

  Balloned the Recurrent expenditute of the FG by add 6 universities and increasing the minimum wage heedlessly.

im nt an ATIKU fan (yet), still on the fence. but questioning his achievement ,  ?

while in customs, he introduced rotation of officer amongst the port, to reduce complacency and monotonousness and infuse enthusiasm and improve moral. (nt so sure tho), had a family friend in customs who mentioned it sometime ago. long time.

while at the presidency: he single handedly convinced soludo, ngozi okonji and ezekwesilli to come back to Nigeria to help out. he was the one that picked elrufai and ribadu, YES RIBADU and made him EFCC chairman.

while the BPE chairman he successfully sold off GSM licences- licences that brought about MTN and co.
He successfully sold licences for private indigenous airlines- we had SLOK, ARIK, DANA, BELLVIEW, VIRGIN. He successfully privatized eleme protrochemical, nadfco- fertilizer co, AP -FG shares, ,  . .  . and over 15 other government companies. HOLD ON, THAT MIGHT SEEM LIKE NOTHING BUT U KNOW WHAT?

SINCE ATIKU LEFT BPE, THE SUBSEQUENT CHAIRMAN/WOMEN HAS NOT BEEN ABLE TO "SUCCESSFULLY" SELL EVEN JUST A COMPANY.

what is happening with NITEL sale?

what has happened to ajakuta ?

what has happened to transcorp? - was put under BPE. dont forget ATIKU was offered 200 million shares at 1/100th of the IPO as was OBJ but he morally decline, reject and dejected it. our ogba man gladly accepted it.

He was on the verge of selling licences for broadband services (internet),  when he fell out with OBJ

what is atiku's crime?

1.    THAT HE BOUGHT INTELS. intels, he was the highest bidder. yes! might nt b so so ethical as he was the chairman of the selling body-BPE , and hence might have been privileged  to know what the highest bid was when he made his own bid.
At the end of the day he made the highest bid. and he won and also made the full complete payment.

2.    That a company via congressman jeff tried bribing him to hasten their licensing application. (nobody can say if atiku wud have accepted, despite the FBI suspecting a soliciting being done). what we know is that the money didnt get to Atiku. he was acquitted. (the money was found in congress man jeffs fridge).

if i may add- bribery is different from embezzlement of public cash!. sharing $1b on 31st night on the day the country's budget year ends is the REAL DEAL, yet pple are nt demanding impeachment.

Where is GEJ's advisers and who wrote that crap called budget that will help widen our recurrent expenditure over capital expenditure in the nearest future? They are all dunce, dunce, dunce

Don’t forget that OBJ/Atiku government left reserves for us, now we are borrowing to the extent of 33% of our budget in less than 4 yrs of Ya’dua/GEJ -  GEJ/Sambo government, crazy!

At the past governors meeting, one need to smoke Igbo to withstand the barrages of insults that was heaped on GEJ, governors were talking and making ridicle of him.
A northern governor asked, after GEJ couldn't answer a first questions but shamlessfully kept his eyes on the floor and had to b baled by annenh - annenh assured the gov that GEJ wud b a one term pres, :" so in 2015 who wud u hand over to? What zone Wud u hand over to??"

Participants later revealed that GEJ became so distorted that he almost cry. His eyes were reported to hv turned watery and red. While the majority of the Gov were chatting and laughing at him.

Now, such a person even when he finally steals the presidency where wud he find the balls to be courageous, how much time wud he need to grow a set of ball and get them hardened.

@alj harem, the structure is nt a mere cone rather a complex, kind of cyclic structure with a cone top.

And it is not small in height as u said earlier. I know of someone who has seen it, he said it is about ten time the size of an average man. Also u can see in the photos posted above, in the photo of the oyibo standing beside one of it, that particular structure is about 5 to 6 time height of the oyibo.

Also as has been written, the structure are mostly located on hill tops. So ur argument of "the re small henc insignificant " falls flat. The structure is not really magnificent but definitely imposing.

I really wish ohaneze wud get it's fingers out from her arse and start cataloging our heritage and history.

Dear poster, are u still interested in re-organising the ohaneze structure? cud u send me an email pls I hv got lots of ideas on fortifying the structure of ohaneze ndi Igbo and actually mk it a lot more relevant than it is today.
