You handled him right. The first time I was asked that question, I was genuinely surprised too. I thought drivers see the destination.

They don't on Uber and Bolt.

They do on inDriver.

sometimes, they don't do it intentionally. They think one- star is the best. I picked a man last night and we really had a good conversation, he commended me for keeping my car clean and comfortable. Next thing I saw was 1 star and different report on conversation, cleanliness, comfort, infact he ticked all the clauses. I just kept laughing...

True, you should nicely inform people about 5 stars

The same traffic danfo driver, Uber driver is praying Against is the same traffic hawkers Are praying for.

You pray to have light 24/7,people who supply diesel pray there shouldn't be light, so there will be business.

You pray AGAINST Death, but coffin sellers in ur district pray for business.

In this Uber business every owner should pray not to encounter A MANIPULATIVE MECHANIC/GAZZUZZ.

Every new driver hustling to buy a new car should pray not to encounter A manipulative dealer/carshopper, he will sell you dead Kia Rio and tell you he still has plenty on the road.

DRU23 said he sold All his cars And start afresh. He is still in business because he has other sources.

Last year in this forum, someone Asked About shockabsober corolla, ogunvic reply the person that is sold for 19k in ladipo, I directed the person to somebody in ladipo he bought those shock for 5k each, that guy is making heavy sells now to plenty Uber owners.

So young man no such thing as hating, just As u r marketing THAT APP, YOUR PRAYER IS TO BE BETTER THAN UBER.

My post was not directed to any particular individual or group. Almost all sides here show intolerance for opposing views. People mock drivers making claims whether it is: "I am making money" or "this business cannot be profitable as it is".

I don't see why I or anybody else for that matter would hold onto such issues.

The kind of words you guys use here are beginning to make me feel lost. "Loyal opposition" "enemy" crazy memes etc. Why is there a debate on another man's business model? Why would anyone apply the Machiavelli approach on someone you're not in direct competition? Abi you people want to start mechanic work?
Dru doesn't sell the same quantity of oil as gazzuzz, they are not even in direct competition. Please you guys should open up and tell us what exactly is going on. Me ayam completely lost. shocked

Most people ego tripping and hating on other people and their businesses.

People should understand that one man's progress won't prevent your own. If people you relate with continue to win, there is a high chance your big win is coming soon as long as you don't start hating others over their legitimate hustle.

Family / Re: My Husband Is Cheating On Me With Our Neighbor! Hurting Real Bad by maclatunji: 1:10am On Jun 05, 2019
Oblongata:
It is well with you my sister!

At the earliest stage of marriage, many men make a lot of mistakes.

I like to believe they suddenly don't want to get tied down and crave freedom.

It's not like they were not prepared for marriage, or their behavior is anyway your fault, I like to believe they are exercising their seemingly seeping away 'youthful exuberances', some come at a far price (lifetime regrets ), others are lucky.

This is however, no excuse to treat or be treated bad.

I am ashamed to say i was like that in my early marriage, i disrespected my wife, and I took alcohol and womanized a lot!

I am quite fortunate I am part of the few that fortunately didn't lose out a lot, as I quickly found myself back on track and ensured i made up for all my wrong by tirelessly making my wife happy tiLL the end of time... No stds, no outside pregnancies, just financial mishaps, ain't i lucky?

Your husband might come around, and he might not...nobody promised us life would be rosy.

But always stay true to yourself and seek happiness, no matter what it will cost you.

Please go seek the advice of a pastor. . .

Many of them have wise counsels. . .

Please you can try 'grace point' church, very good church for marriages

Shalom

You are honest, a rare quality on social media.

Lol! Nah soh, just use true caller, check whatapp and confirm Facebook sharp sharp, the rest nah small tin, you go get your money, e fit just take time. Yesterday a lady made transfer of 1700 and she didn't even bother to show me anything, I just notice someone alighting and I'm like have you done the transfer? she said yes. I didn't even argue with her since its a compound, I just jejely park outside with 15mins grace to get alert... Lo & behold alert dropped soh quick grin

One thing I have learn in this business is try not to give in to intimidation, if a car is at ur back, check if its civilian first, then he can wait forever, uber/taxify drivers r gradually becoming tout grin, let dem manage us like that (They we b driving and pressing phone baba). All cases should b settled to your satisfaction, advantage or breaking point before giving up.

Last week, I had an app error from yaba to cmd road, told rider about it from ogudu side and she was asking what will happen... Got to her destination and she offer 1k, I smile and ask is it because I didn't pull over on 3mb the moment i noticed, I guess that will b rude abi? She asked, how much do I want now? Me; 2k/2.5k at least. We argued for 10 mins and admit to go with app estimation... D stupid tin display 1400 - 1600, dat was how she paid 1600.

Some of you guys should publish your stories.

Travel / Uber/bolt (taxify) Drivers In Nigeria Beware Of This Scam by maclatunji: 9:31am On May 28, 2019
A rider (passenger) requests a ride, they usually claim to be going to posh locations like expensive hotels etc.

The pickup location is now maybe somewhere like Mushin.

In the cases I have seen, the driver gets to Mushin and doesn't see rider (passenger), he calls the rider who now claims he actually wants the driver to pick a parcel for him from the location. The driver should help him collect the item and pay the person giving him N5,000 or more on his behalf. He (the rider) would refund the driver once item is delivered to him.

If the driver falls for this, he will be linked to the second scammer who gives him something wrapped and practically worthless and collects the money.

The driver would drive to the destination and never see the rider. Phone switched-off by now. They have collected your money and wasted your time, energy, fuel, cost you legit trips too.

So, drivers don't lose your hard-earned money to scammers O.

True, but find a way nah. Taking people with you to airport when you travel is not just for show. Sometimes you need porters and personal security. #Hehe

Their campaign offer is just for 6 months, afterwards, they will start collecting a certain percentage.

These guys are all there in it for profit, which is the essence of every business, all the talk about caring for the driver are just bullsh!t.

They are all trying disrupt the ecosystem and win the market for a start, afterwards they will start looking for a way to maximize profit.

5%-8% is what InDriver will charge after 6 months.

Official launch in Lagos coming soon Godwilling. I expect a mad rush by both riders and drivers. It's to everybody's advantage.
