Christianity EtcRe: Can Prayers Change Nigeria? by madamkoko: 3:47pm On Aug 29, 2008
I would love to do a survey to ascertain what most nigerian consider of God and the manner in which he relates to us and our respective roles in Life.
I think that what you will find will be extremely shocking. Religion in Nigeria, is a good area of study.
PoliticsRe: Nigeria Signs Nuclear Agreement With Iran by madamkoko: 3:43pm On Aug 29, 2008
Unlike China, Nigeria would rather do business with foreigners than thier own. So what expertise do they have ? I don't know but I do know that they are preferred at this point.

the person who chop sha, is the person that help put this contract together. too much money dey naija

RomanceRe: Ladies And Married Men by madamkoko: 3:38pm On Aug 29, 2008
I understand your reasoning but I don't think men who cheat see things that way.

KarmaMod:
You don't hurt the ones you love, so no they don't love their wives, koko.
I think thats why many marry women who sense thier husbands are cheating most of the time don't ask questions, especially if thier husbands are giving them every materialistic thing under the sun.
RomanceRe: Ladies And Married Men by madamkoko: 3:35pm On Aug 29, 2008
Makes sense but most men don't see it this way. The treat thier wives well, give thier wives everything under the sun and just ask for a tidbit of freedom.

Don't get me wrong I don't condone this but I know too many married men and this a huge part of thier reasoning.

I love my wife but I need some sexual excitement.

Do you think Elliot Spitzer doesn't love his wife or even the other democrat candidate his name skips me at the moment.
PoliticsRe: Nigeria Signs Nuclear Agreement With Iran by madamkoko: 3:32pm On Aug 29, 2008
to share peaceful nuclear technology with Nigeria, to help Africa's biggest oil producer bolster its woeful electricity-generation capacity.
I think this is an important part of the article. wink wink wink
RomanceRe: Ladies And Married Men by madamkoko: 3:27pm On Aug 29, 2008
They are both to blame. wink wink

Most married men offer ladies (most of the time young women) materialistic things like (cars, houses, shopping sprees, travel packages and all these things) on the other hand, I think that a married woman knows her husband's cheating she just doesn't say anything about it most of the time.

But most married men i've met who do this, do it not because they don't love thier wives but for the sexual thrill and excitement.

I am going to guess that the people who spent valuable time on this law are a selected few who believe they have the will of the people in their hands. These idiots need to be put in their place and not until the people wake up from their stupid slumber will life in any part of Nigeria remember what it should in the 21st century.
You forgot to mention the selected few whose kids are somewhere abroad getting an edumication with boys/girls,

Christianity EtcRe: Nigerian Churches And Dress Code by madamkoko: 4:53am On Aug 29, 2008
Do you think that the church is right if they turn a prostitute who decided to attend a service one sunday morning from a brothel because she felt an emptiness and a need to connect with God for the first time in her life?
No I don't think the church is right. Nor are churches legitimate. xtians are extremely prejudiced, and I'm sure they would expect her to change her clothings after she becomes a hypocrite. christian.
Christianity EtcRe: Nigerian Churches And Dress Code by madamkoko: 4:02am On Aug 29, 2008
Are these churches allowed by God to do these things when Christ clearly said " come to me as you are"?
I don't think he was referring to clothing.
Christianity EtcRe: Nigerian Churches And Dress Code by madamkoko: 4:00am On Aug 29, 2008
Though I don't go to church. I think people should dress to church like they're going to work. at least hoping that people go to work looking decent.

Christianity EtcRe: Can Prayers Change Nigeria? by madamkoko: 3:58am On Aug 29, 2008
Tasma:
Here's an idea, why don't we Nigerians just try doing the right thing because it is right and not because we are "religious or spiritual" people. Hell, an atheist civil servant in the US or UK probably behaves ten times better than our church or mosque going civil servants here. So what exactly is the advantage of our high level of "spirituality". I for one would rather be a country full of decent atheists than one full of so called religious citizens.
Good point.
