Brother I used the student visa option but I wasn't asked to upload admission letter too, I was only asked the name of the school that I'm going to... The 5 verification documents/questions doesn't include admission letter. Just ur passport data page, a pic of you holding up ur passport, and some other questions like the tax details etc
Alright bro.. Thanks
I think both are still on the right track provided one gets the fintiba Blocked account details. Success ahead man

i used the student applicant option. i realized at the end i wasn't prompted to upload admission letter. so i think its for someone who is yet to get admission letter or decide on which school he is probably headed. I do not think its a problem anyway. any more ideas maybe?
Same here, I used study applicant visa and I wasn't asked to provide admission letter. Please gurus in the house should kindly help out with the right option so it wouldn't create any issues ahead.... interview, pay outs

Thanks

thanks i really appreciate your reply here.well iwill try either DHL or FEDEX.i think they are fast and they will deliver the documents in 5 working days maximum. the deadline of my application is 15th july.so i will try and send it before that time.
Dude.. if you reside in Lagos, go to DHL head office around isolo and resend your Docs. Tell them it's student application and you want a student tariff. You will be charged 13,345 naira. I sent all my applications using DHL and it arrived in two days time. Your God will see you through.

for our case click : student visa. it connotes student with admission going to Germany for studies.
student visa applicant are those going to Germany in search of a school and study place.
Alles klar?
But what if one chose the latter during the registration process, I hope it won't create any issues later on cos that's what I selected and it was still processed. huh

TravelRe: General German Visa Enquiries Part 3 by Made123: 2:25pm On Jun 27, 2017
House please does anyone know how the interview process @ at FAU Erlangen is been conducted? I received a mail stating that I have reached the second stage of admission and I will have to undergo a face-to-face interview to further access my suitability for the program. Although I replied the mail stating that I'm not residing in Germany and would accept any other alternative means to get the interview done. Thanks alot.

Please sir, may I know how you were able to check your admission status online? thank you
I received a no-reply email from the Campo online portal stating that my application has been updated, so I simply logged unto the portal using the email address and password I used initially during the registration process. Once you are logged in, just like click on studies offered and an "online application" bar will pop up. Then click on it and wait patiently while it opens. Check the "requested subject status", once it has changed to "valid" then it means your application has been forwarded to the admissions committee. If you scroll down to your application, you will even see where it is written, that's if you received a mail that you application is been updated. Good luck!
TravelRe: General German Visa Enquiries Part 3 by Made123: 10:30am On Jun 08, 2017
Hmm. this is a positive sign. The status of my application has finally changed to valid this morning. I applied to FAU erlangen since 7th of May and sent my certified docs via DHL and it took almost 4 weeks to receive an update of my status online. I just hope I finally get admitted. Anyone that applied to FAU, just be patient with the uni cos it seems they receive large volumes of application which takes a while to get processed.

Hello friends, please I need to confirm something about FAU Erlangen. I applied and sent my docs via dhl which arrived last two weeks and up till now I haven't even received any confirmation email that my application documents has been received by the Masters office neither have I gotten any update on my online portal.
I called and sent about 2 mails and I haven't gotten any response yet. Please is this a norm at FAU because the deadline is tomorrow and I'm really tensed. I don't want my efforts to go in vein.

Hello friends, trust you are all making headway with your applications. Well, I leant some thing very vital yesterday and decided to share it with the thread. Prior to the conversation I had with someone in Estonia yesterday, I had always view Esti as a "midget country" relatively struggling to secure her stance amongst the leading economies in Europe. I even had an offline conversation with Godwithme who tried correcting my notion about Esti but I just kept dwelling on the informations available on the internet about Estonia. Please don't get me wrong here, the internet is a very great source of information about a country, but it's more rewarding when one gets first hand infos from those whom are currently dwelling in the country. Please for those whom have been wondering if there are lucrative jobs in Esti just like I was, kindly changed your mindset because there are jobs that can help your keep a decent income. The wage rate might not be as high compared to the likes of leading European economies like Germany, Switzerland et al but it's indeed better than the living standards in our country.

As hadassaheke rightly said. It won't. I believe certification mainly is to ascertain the documents you presented for admission purpose is not FAKE.
@hadassaheke and Instructor001, thanks for the feedback. I'm grateful.

Instructor001:
Book appointment as hadassaeke as rightly said, if you wanna certify it at Lagos embassy, click below link;

https://service2.diplo.de/rktermin/extern/choose_categoryList.do?locationCode=lago&realmId=695

And look for this. "Services for university applicants, language
course participants as well as students who
are already admitted to a German
university" then click continue below it.
Hello please I'll need to get enlightened about this "certification of documents". From what I've read on the thread, ones academic docs could either get certified at German embassy or a notary public although I stand to be corrected. Then on the long run (ie. after having gained admission), will certification of docs at the German embassy have any positive impact on one's visa application other than those who didn't certify @ the embassy. I might sound like a JJC but we all know that getting well-informed is the currency of success these days.

Currently attending Goethe Institute Lagos. It's the best in the country and the instructors are world class. You won't get a better education than Goethe's!
Alright. Thanks bro. I'm grateful.
Bro it seems I've come across your moniker in Canada thread. CIC really dealt with me men. I have decided to give Germany a trial. Thanks once again for your response.
TravelRe: General German Visa Enquiries Part 3 by Made123:
Hello friends, I would be pleased to know if there is any German Language institute (recognized with German accreditation) in Nigeria where I can get a sound learning of the language. Having gone through some parts of the thread, I discovered that been fluent with the German language could be of help in general terms as I intend to pursue my Masters Program and would apply to some schools mindless of its location.

I came across Goethe-institut and Deutsche Schule Lagos while I was surfing the net. Please has anyone attended any of the above-named institutes. I really need to get first-hand info. before making further inquiries. Thank you.

Between: congrats to sirheed2 and MrEbony

depends on the school you are applying to
Well I intend applying to KIT. I don't think they demand applicants to get the Korean seal on their credentials for masters program except the Korean language program. I stand to be corrected though

if your intention is to legalize your o'level documents, then you need a letter from your principal too...

Which school do you have in mind?
please I need to confirm something here. for those going for msc programs. getting a seal from the Korean Embassy isn't necessary right..

I have read some informations I found in the Embassy's website which states that an applicant heading for an msc program has to only get the documents legalized with the ministry of foreign affairs before applying for visa. I think it's only those heading for Korean language program that needs to get a seal from the Embassy.

As a result of idle curiosity, I decided to try other embasy representatives in some countries. After I called and mailed the Embassy in China as regards the possibility of getting a Temporary Resident Permit, I got this response.

Thank you for your request. To answer it I need more information of your residence and the reasons of it, as well as your studies in Estonia. Do you live in Nigeria or somewhere else and for what reason, for how long, and have you got an invitation from Estonian university?

Best regards
