@Poster your faith is very important to you, I can see that.

My case was  100% different, if I had loved him I would have converted in a flash.

@madlady does this mean muslims men general are very deceptive, wicked, not keeping to their words? cos heaven knows would rather break the marriage than convert, cos i took his words for real before accepting him. apart from this issue of religion, i wld say he is a nice man any woman can have, what i mean by that is he doesn't drink or smoke, he doesn't keep too many frirneds, he is not the party type or womanize, but with theis faith issue i don't mind to break it up cos i can NEVA CONVERT TO A MUSLIM or u feel am taking a wrong step?
NO NO NO NO PLEASE DO NOT READ IT THIS WAY . kiss kiss I LEFT BECAUSE I DID NOT LOVE HIM.
Romance › Re: Ladies, What Would U Do? by madlady(f): 5:11pm On Feb 03, 2010
ojuomoge2:
@madlady, to convert would be the last thing i will do, cos we both tried to iron this issue out before marriage and he vowed it won't be an issue that am free to practise any one i so desire, now its s different story. am really confused by now and i feel like poisoning him cos to really support his words then we did church wedding with the registry and he has started going to church with me, all of a sudden he just came back from one of his trip to Uk and turn over a Muslim back.

mature ladies in the house please talk to me before i commit a crime in this house cos my hatred for him since two days ago now is growing too fast.

thanks
I really do not know what to say.

I was the the one who ended the rel, so I took the easy way out, you cannot.

His faith is very important so maybe he feels he is going against it

You will just have to keep talking .

@Poster as a poster before said, I think it would have been better if you had worked this out before marriage, but some times we think things may not be a problem, sadly things change.

I used to date a Muslim guy, to be honest I was very happy he had a faith, he had a lot of principles and tried to live up to most.
I thought it would have been fine, but later the difference in faith did effect the relationship.

But I honestly do not see what you have done wrong, did you say you would convert?

theres 2 issues for me

if your not in sec skool socks are supposed to be disposable!!
i personally dont like wearing clothes for too long
but i think primark is as good as any other shop
new look is atrocious when it comes to quality
so is dorothy perkins!
topshop is bland
jane norman is. . . . jane norman
river island is the only place i love more (and h&m)

the only problem with primes is that there stuff is atimes common

its tru sha
i neva wear the same party outfit twice!

what area do u stay??
No, socks should not be thrown away after one wear, I normally wear john lewis socks in my boots and they are fine, but really for the money i paid for them then yes i agree not a big deal. I see your in the UK so you know we all wear our jeans in owe boots and we are not at school.

Yes also agree the shops you spoke about are all even worse quality, you pay pennies so you do get value for your money cool

I only buy boxer shorts and V-necks there. But girls can pull off a one time party outfits with accessories to match easily.
Yes I agree with you on the one time bit, and they have some very showy bags.

Horribly jeans, they had about a million pairs when I looked hoping to find a cheap pair.

I bought 2 pairs of sox to wear in boots, they looked very worn out after 2 washes (hand wash)
Fashion › Re: What Is Everyones Problem With Primark? by madlady(f): 2:45pm On Feb 03, 2010
@Poster, I hope this will not upset you. I think alot of the items they sell are really terrible quality.

They do sell some key trends at a almost give a price so if ppls do not mind the short life span, then they are really good value.

@ Poster, I appreciate your sincerity so much but I think there's nothing to it.
I do not think there's any need to tell your husband coz he might start thinking u were even toying with the idea of being unfaithfull.
I agree with you 100% and she does sound like a very honest and good person,
Romance › Re: Is There Something Wrong With Me? by madlady(f): 10:25am On Feb 03, 2010
@Poster this is a Very serious issue. Do not play around with your marriage, your Husand, child and yourself will surely suffer.

To be honest it's not even worth the stress, it's just romantic day dreams, lots of us have them but you are married so the repercussions are too great.

Lots of men fool around outside but remember, we are not equal.

Hmmm, sorry but I would not talk to your husband about this lipsrsealed

Food › Re: Fresh green Okra, what can I do with them? by madlady(op): 7:50pm On Feb 02, 2010
@mohawkchic, Thank you smiley

The sauce you spoke about, would I just steam the top/ tailed and diced oka and then blend?

I like the sound of that, it would be thick like a puree, I could then freeze some in containers, or I may just make the whole lot  into a very healthy soup with garlic and rock salt.

Funnily enough I never see oka in the supermarket, maybe because I am not looking for it undecided, but I  do see it in some tiny local stores but it always looks as you said brownish and limp, short shelf life as you pointed out.

Actually I am looking forward to trying something new.

Lads and Ladies, cool cool

I think what we need to establish and be aware of here is that there is a big difference between someone being your BOYFRIEND/GIRLFRIEND as opposed to someone being HUSBAND/WIFE.
Point taken.
