In fact most people do not even know that Arch Bishop Benson Idahosa and his wife are Igbo from Igbanke in Uhuonde Local Government area of EDO state that was formerly in Orhionwon LGA .
The mother of the late Samuel Odaigbovo Ogbemudia is Igbanke! Most indigenes of this town just like Ika people bear hybrid names that most often could just jolly well pass as EDO because of their names like Nduka Irabor, Jim Ovia, Omorogie Nwawanne, Collins Edumaruse etc

DELTA STATE

BAYELSA STATE
16) Osekwenike, Abuetor and Eke Okpokri villages, all in Sagbama area of bayelsa, are all Igbo of Ukwuani stock, and as such, are of the Anioma igbo clan of the Igbo ethnic group in BAYELSA

CROSS RIVER STATE
17) ISOBO , even liyl imoke former CR governor and wife are igbos from ABI LGA – CROSS RIVER

AKWA IBOM STATE
18) Ikot Udo Ika in Ika Local Government area of Akwa Ibom is an Igbo community.

BENUE STATE
19)The Igbos in Benue State particularly those in Ado, Oju, Obi and Okpoku LGAs of the state were in existence before the advent of Christian religion in Nigeria.
The Igbo found in Benue are: Umuezeokoha, Umuezeoka, Oriuzor, Umuoghara, Amaekka and Amaezekwe all in Ezza communities, Izzi, Ezzamgbo and Effium, these are the people who would have been in present-day Ebonyi State but due to the fact that the Nigerian government then carved them into Benue in order to suppress the population of the East. Apart from the Ezza-speaking clan, particularly the people of Umuezeokoha that has over 300 villages, if you are to
calculate the number of Igbo-speaking villages in Benue State, outside Umuezeokaoha, you would be talking altogether about over 600 villages. Three of the biggest markets in Benue are all in the Igbo- speaking part.
The markets are Inikiri Ichari, Iddah, Iduokpe. There are also some Igbo speaking Idoma towns in Benue State.

KOGI STATE
20) THE indigenouse Igbo-speaking communities in Kogi state especially in Ibaji and Igalamela/Odolu LGAs are Eke Avurugo community,such as Nwajala, Umuoye, Ubulie-Umuez, ozara, and umuoye and many more.

NOTE
The current Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, Ojaja II, also told us that his kingdom was initially conquered by the Igbo (PLEASE KINDLY NOTE THAT HE WAS NOT REFERRING TO THE UGBO OF ONDO STATE)until they were rescued by Moremi and he also spoke of an aboriginal Igbo community that still exist in ILE Ife to this day.
The Ugbo people of Ondo State have the same Obatala linkage with the Aborigines of Ile Ife. Note: there are several Igbo towns in present-day Igboland that are called Ugbo. For instance, you have Ugbodu in Delta State, and Ugbo in Enugu State, just to mention a few.

I'd make this as brief as possible.. This is my debut post here on NL.
I'm in my early 30's, currently work in the oil and gas sector and I'd say I'm an 8.5/10 guy in all ramifications.
Now to the issue, I met this lady sometime last year(JUNE) at a popular fast food here in delta, she was (and still is) the manager of the place. One of the cashiers was being rude to me, she intervened and I must say, I was immediately lovestruck! She's really not the, sweep-you-off-your-feet kinda girl, but she seemed pretty smart (I'm extremely Sapiosexual).
Long story short, I gave her my card, she called, visited severally and after like 6months we got intimate and all.... Before all these, she already told me that she has a 4-year old daughter, which he had for a guy when she was still schooling, but later found out the guy had a family and she cut ties. She had the baby and he knows but she told him to stay away! And since then till now, there has been no communication whatsoever between them.
My dilemma is, I like her enough to wife her, taking in the kid is not an issue(I adore female kids) and they(MUM and DAUGHTER) both love me to bits, adore me and all. Overall I would say she's a 6.5/10 Lady.
Yesterday she suggested that why don't I adopt the kid legally, as I already changed her surname to mine, because I wanted to open accounts for her(THE KID), she said she had a dream that her baby daddy came to make amends, request for his daughter and serious issue broke out bla bla bla....
Now, I know ladies would always twist the narrative to suit themselves and all, and my gut feeling tells me there's more to that separation than she's telling!
I want to hear some expert advise concerning this before I take the next step, to be honest I'm a novice in this area(never had anything to do with a single mum before now).
Do I go ahead to adopt the kid legally??

Sensible inputs would be well appreciated.

Guys I genuinely need some advice
Because of the state of my mental health I have decided never to get married or have kids.

I suffer from intense depression and anxiety and other mental health problems. I'm unsure of my own future talk more of a child.

I do love being in relationships but I do that only for companionship and sex.

I don't know if I will regret my decision. The guys I have dated have been cool with my no marriage proposal but I don't think any Nigerian man will not want kids.

I'm thinking of moving to another country, buy a house, take care of my community and neighbors then when I'm old, I will move to a retirement home.

If I change my mind I can adopt a child, am not against adoption as I am with marriage, it depends on if my mental health improves.

The problem I have is that will I be lonely without a child, like I said I'm not into marriage despite being a woman trained in traditional home, it's not that I hate it or anything, it's not just for me. I will be unhappy being married.

But the child thing is bothering me, I always wanted a child, but i don't want my mental health to prevent me from loving and caring for the child.

Please advise.

there is nothing wrong with your decision. You can adopt a child, if you so much desire to have a child.
