jaymobb:
Guess I should have titled it, "Na only u like better thing?"

The babe's picky, like most of us are. Unfortunately, not many guys exist with the full package. And if they do, they're usually taken! Just like in the Joe song. About good girls and picking someonelse's dime.

Had to wade through the mire myself to get my own dream guy.

P.S. he's the inspiration for most of the kinky stuff I write these days. His love is WICKED.
oops, sorry Jaymobb, posted with ur profile by mistake. undecided

The Year 5050

In the very beginning, there was light. In this beginning, there was the Button. Yep, with one press of the mighty button, you could have anything. Even a man. Zee was fixing herself up right then. She clicked on her computer, Karma, and commanded, "Hot date needed, 8pm tonight."

"Specifications?"

Zee grinned. Ask, and it shall be given. "Let's see, tall. Chocolate. And oh, dimples."

"Check. Mental prefs?"

"Gimme hunky intellectual. I'm talking sexy with brains now."

"Anything else."

"Yeah. He's gotta be well-hung. Like triple-x large."

"Sorry. This package is out of stock."

"Damn. Not again."
CareerRe: Any Hope For Those "Unfortunate" To Have Finished With 3rd Class? by maedan(f): 4:45pm On Jun 09, 2008
@topic.

it's so unfair that some people misunderstood your question. You weren't throwing a pity-party for ursef or "whining". Just asking a simple, heart-felt question. Yes, a third class is one-kind. No, it's not the end of the world. And no, it doesn't mean u're dumb.

i know someone who had a third class in university. He' one of the most intelligent people I've had the good fortune to meet. It's sad that people have to be put in academic box to prove themselves. It's hard sometimes to come down to the mental level of some Nigerian lecturers, who just follow the same themes laid down decades ago and expect you to play along. Just show some element of innovative thinking, and you're fried.

well, the "paper" don't matter. Like some people have been saying, prove those lecturer-buggers wrong, and make something of yourself. You'll walk tall.

@crazylegs - Wow! And I don't even need a smiley to say that. Keep 'em coming.

It's tough for an observer-turned-newbie to find a good forum to offload, unwind, and blend in.
I enjoyed watching from the sidelines for some months, but somehow, I got drawn to this topic. I encourage everyone, in their own little way, to chip in, no matter the genre. You might have guessed, mine's erotica and its not easy, trust me, squeezing hot stuff into 100 words or so. Hope my next installment shows some improvement. And please, I'd love to see some Science fiction drabble! Any specialists?

@Sisikill - At least you seemed to like my efforts. I think. I guess someone knows how to encourage the newbies! Peace.
LiteratureRe: Which Novels Can You Read Over And Over Like The First Time? by maedan(f): 5:47pm On Jun 06, 2008
In my case, I'm a sucka for Charles Dickens, I can read any of his stuff again and again a zillion times.
Tale of Two Cities, David Copperfield, Great Expectations, etc.

However, to be particular, I read Jane Eyre by Charlotte Bronte like ten times when I was in university. The original.
Would still lap smiley it all up from page one to the end. You need to have patience to enjoy great stuff like that. smiley

SUNDAY AFTERNOON STEAMY EROTICA CONTINUED

She gazed at him adoringly. After a session like that, she could afford to be generous, and sighed,
"Five million climaxes and counting. After seven years of marriage, darling, how do you do it?"
He shrugged. "Love, boo. Just can't get enough of my Yumyum. So, good as ever?"
"Ohh yeah." She shuddered delicately with remembered delight. Her man was THE man.
He chuckled. "I aim to please."
"So do I. Next time it's your turn."
"Promises, promises," he growled, even as her eyes fluttered closed as she did what she usually did - pass out.

Drabbling. Now that I've tried it, I think I like it! Read through all the stuff, very inspiring. It's going to help some of us flex some literary muscle. And hey, Stillwater, the "Hmmn", I hope you know good writers are sensitive. The cheesy face was so not nice. Back at you.

The crash of skin upon skin was tremendous, the heat indescribable. His lips dipped lower and she purred. It was a Sunday afternoon, they'd just had lunch, now this, even with no airconditioning, she wasn't complaining. Not when he was peeling her secrets open and tasting, eating,
Soon he filled her with that powerful bit of him, and it was great - then his hand slipped inbetween and,
Alas, she could not endure for long. Her release came hard, fast. She slumped back in bed, guilty when he withdrew, still ready, but always thoughtful to understand she was through. For now,

Thanx kidonig for the prompt reply. I guess i hav most of the documents you listed, and my husband also got a shared flat which we were scared too might not satisfy them, but it's a chance we may hav to take, like you said sch acc is dear and they won't like wives moving in permanently, so he's paid for a flat for my visa application purposes.
My next question is, since he hasn't moved in to the new place, how can we get proof of address, bc the statements of accounts he sent me last month mirror his sch accomodation address, does he hav to stay one month in the new flat and accumulate utility bills b4 i can apply, as I sed he left in Oct and time is short, I just want to know how he can get quick proof of add if its so important. He really doesnt want to move in without me as its to be our new home, should I explain that, bc his acc contract with the sch will soon expire anyway, hope I'm not bugging but I'd appreciate another quick response, greetings to ur wife,

congrats kidonig, at last some cheering news! I too, am trying to join my husband in the UK as his dependant. He left in Oct 2007 and if he had his way, I know he'd have wanted me in the next day!lol.
however, i'm writing bc we hav a similar prob like you once had, about the tenancy agreement, I'd really like to know just want they need to prove we have adequate accomodation. he has paid and got the tenancy agreement, but I read on some sites that we need to add landlord's letter of approval, also to state how many rooms in the house, size, who else lives there and how many rooms for our exclusive use etc,
pls, i'd appreciate advice from the house too and esp from kidonig bc you must hav done something right to get the visa for your wife, my hubby wants to leave his school-owned acc and move into the new place with me once i arrive, i just want to b sure what details the visa pple need to be convinced that we have adequate accomodation. Pls help another loving couple,  grin
