Every nation on this earth has its good and bad sides. Of course, it's fun to h8 on the UK because they can be so pompous and intolerant themselves, as if they're faultless.

The first image I can recollect of England was in the train station at Heathrow where I saw two guys dressed in kinky black leather hot pants and net stockings necking as they bought tickets. I wish now I took pictures so I could add them to the fantastic album growing on this thread.

My taking a nap is not ur problem, what is, is how to relate with others on a forum. I notice that litle-minded people like you contribute only to put others down, and use the license of this faceless site to do what u could never do if you actually had to meet me eye to eye.

So keep hiding behind the keyboard, jack ass, and I can blab as much as I want to, you're not paying my internet bills. At least I usually have something nice to say - except when interacting with no-brainers like YOU. Needless to say, I do have better things to do. Wish you could say the same, I'll bet.

i made the effort to change not just to keep him, but because i realised that everything he said about me was true, and i had to do the change for my own good, or else whoever i dated next would have the same problem with me.

so you see, she has to know it's in her best interest to change, or she'll end up a lonely old hag.

make her see sense so that even if you end up with someone else, she'd be grateful to you for leaving her a better person than she was when you were with her. We women are so complex, no one can understand us.

my advice: put your foot down, and tell her (and MEAN it) that if she doesn't change (i.e., be more respectful, caring and thoughtful to you and others) then you'll leave her.

when she realises she'll lose the only(probably) person in the world that loves her, she'll clean up her act.

this option really works. It did for me. I was such an ass (almost like her) and then my hubby to be threatened to leave. Needless to say, I changed my spots, hard as it was
to do. Now we're happy, because now I know better.

if you really do love her, make the last effort b4 u walk away. Therez no Ms Perfect, the next girl you date might be worse. You're used to this woman, MAKE her good for you.

I'm just going to throw this out there as well, if you've ever watched sweet 16 on mtv you'll notice that the black kids parents are almost always celebrities but the white kids, latina kids and all the other kids' parents are just wealthy unknowns. I think that the show highlights the extent of the problem in a way.

yes, I've wondered about that issue on the show as well. But then "sweet 16s" basically a white culture, just like halloween and thanksgiving in America used to be. So long as black people want to fit into white celebrations, they may always be second place.

About this African poverty: it's so true: we're no more colonised, but we still can't make our country work! Is there someone pressing buttons somewhere so that no matter how we try, Africa will always be the DARK continent?

Mum's a dear,a true African mama, and thankfully all my siblings and I grew up stable despite all her efforts to frighten us with her antics

However, there's one thing she still does and I can't remember why

Anytime it rains, she runs around the house and covers up all the mirrors!

Don't know why, but some ladies want more lips and less tongue - taste them not eat them! And don't go shoving buckets of saliva down their throat and expect them to swallow it. UGGHH!

If a woman meets a guy who can kiss her right, KEEP HIM! You can bet that's what I did, and this will be our comfort when we're old and gray and the mechanism can no longer be activated. Kissing is for life, learn the skill NOW.
