Dozieson: What not go for Acura SUV or hyundia Santa Fe? I'm also considering Acura MDX but I read somewhere on Nairaland that it's expensive to maintain. I haven't really checked out Santa Fe, is it a better option? Thanks. |

Hi, is Hyundai ix35 is a good first car?
Also, looking though sites like jiji, can't seem to find its foreign used. |
Car Talk › A Good First Car Suggestions by maekhel(op): 4:23am On Mar 08, 2022 |
Hi Nairalanders, currently planning on getting my first preferably foreign used and I'm thinking of an SUV because our roads. My budget is 3m - 3.5m.
Amongst the options I'm considering is Hyundai ix35 (don't know if it's even 1st car worthy) but looking though sites like jiji, can't seem to find foreign used.
Thanks in advance. |

elpedro: My internet connection is more of an on/off thing... It ain't always steady.. Have you tried installing Laravel offline with its zipped file?? I would love to see how this can be implemented... Nope, I haven't tried it. |

elpedro: Thanks for your response sire...
I installed Xampp and I was able to run it successfully...
If I download Laravel zipped from github, What is the best way to install it without using composer to download it via command line..?? Installing via composer is the best way to install Laravel cos if you go through downloading zipped from github, you will still need composer to pull in Laravel dependencies. |

donbrowser: Ignore the 0 Units, they will recorded according to the units allocated when you did them. Morning, what of those who are not yet in their finals. Let me be precise, am currently in 200l semester (through DE) and when I did my course registration for last semester the GST courses were still 2 units. How do I meet up with the minimum units since the sum total of core courses to be offered by Direct entry students is less than 110 units. |

Programming › Re: What PHP Framework Do You Consider As The Best by maekhel(m): 3:22pm On Jul 02, 2016 |
Jregz: This in my opinion is wrong. Frameworks this days are nothing but packages - interoperable packages. FuelPHP, Laravel, AuraPHP, Symfony, name any.
If you feel you have to learn a particular feature and don't have the time, swap a library you know (that does the same thing) in at the cost of writing a single class (Provider for the framework) with one or 2 methods max . BAM. This is the height of productivity.
It even gets better with PSRs like the Caching interface and Http Message.. If "the inherited framework" uses guzzle/psr7 but you find it hard to use because the documentation the framework put up isn't nice enough (and you haven't used guzzle/psr7 before), switch to another implementation you know, say zend-diactoros.. BAM Said it all. |

A thing I have come to realize in software/web development is that some people thinks by building stuffs from scratch(without a framework) approves them being a better programmer/developer. But it doesn't always work that way. There are lot of advantages working with frameworks will give you aside allowing you to follow best standards. And mind you nobody actually does build from scratch, we all use one library or the other. The jQuery and the likes nko |

Jide nice points.
See I have decided to stop making arguments about frameworks, because some people just argue blindly.
Imagine someone saying he hates Laravel just because of the way it does routing. |
