kennyamusan: I am beginning to suspect our president, first,it was his wife with the peace house(I wonder if she knows the meaning of that, cause she won't want to be reminded of Amaechi's fight),then,National Confab, now Pilgrimage to the holy land,I wonder what next cause am sure, this certainly is not the end but just the beginning.alas, a bokoville arrives. Before your stone worshiping pilgrimage began, Christians have been going on pilgrimage to the holy land. You are not used to the idea afterall, this is the first christian president to embark on such a trip. Why is it an issue for you intolerant stone worshipers? |
I am waiting for the Ifa/Kabbah worshipers from Osun to raid this board... |
The Executive Secretary of the Nigeria Christian Pilgrim Commission (NCPC), Kennedy Opara at the weekend announced that President Goodluck Jonathan will this week depart Nigeria for Israel with 19 state governors and some cabinet members as part of the 2013 Christian pilgrimage to the Holy Land.http://sunnewsonline.com/new/cover/pilgrimage-jonathan-19-govs-ministers-storm-israel/ Yes. GEJ is on pilgrimage to the holy land and from what I know he left on Saturday or Sunday. So let us see your hate filled posts on this. |
charitybabe: The embattled Minister of Aviation, Ms. Stella Oduah, has commenced a high-When did all this occur? |
You are desperately sounding like a disinfo agent. Whatever the case, the system is corrupt and long over due for overhauling. Bankers do not create anything of value but have placed themselves at the center of all production and services without having or adding any value. |
vire: but in ur other post you said non was ever in govt.....let me tell you they all hub nob wen dey want favorsdid he ever perform any protocol or executive function before the annulment? |
Reyginus: How exactly do you mean? An example will help. You think CNN, BBC and Al Jazeera are in the business to inform? They were formed to feed you lies. |
"I have only two regrets: I didn't shoot Henry Clay and I didn't hang John C. Calhoun." Jackson would go on to smash Henry Clay during his re-election campaign and set up 'pet banks', where taxes previously deposited as the lifeblood of the Second Bank were re-routed by the Secretary of the Treasury under the orders of Jackson to be deposited in state banks. This resulted in National Debt being paid in full ($58 million in 6 years since Jackson took office) actually achieving a surplus, raking in more than they were spendng.

The veto penned by George Bancroft outlined key points which draw parallels to Americas present day scenario: - It concentrated the nation's financial strength in a single institution. - It exposed the government to control by foreign interests. - It served mainly to make the rich richer. - It exercised too much control over members of Congress. - Banks are controlled by a few select families. - Banks have a long history of instigating wars between nations, forcing them to borrow funding to pay for them. The bank existed for 5 more years as an ordinary bank before going bankrupt in 1841. |
President Andrew Jackson went to the Capitol to attend the funeral of Congressman Warren Davis of Mississippi. When the President walked along the Capitol's east portico after the service, he was approached by an unemployed house painter named Richard Lawrence. When Lawrence was within eight feet of the President, he drew a pistol and attempted to shoot Jackson. The pistol misfired. The percussion cap exploded, but the bullet did not discharge. Lawrence then drew a second pistol, which also misfired. The ever-feisty Jackson raised his walking stick and subdued the assailant, who was arrested and declared insane, confined to jails & mental institution until his death in 1861 . The first assassination attempt of an American president had failed. When later tested by police, both pistols fired perfectly. A delusional Lawrence believed that the U.S. government owed him a large sum that Jackson was keeping from him. Release of the funds, he thought, would allow him to take his rightful place as King Richard III of England. Bystanders joined in, wrestling Lawrence to the ground and disarming him. One of them was Rep. Davy Crockett of Tennessee. Historians have come to view Lawrence as a mentally unstable person, but the Democratic president became convinced that his political enemies in the rival Whig Party had hired Lawrence to assassinate him. At the time, Jackson was locked in a bitter struggle with the Whigs over his ultimately successful effort to scuttle the Second Bank of the United States, whom Jackson had promised to "kill". The banks 20 year charter was set to expire in 1836 so it's President Nicholas Biddle coaxed former Senator & Secretary of State Henry Clay to push for an extension. Jackson promptly vetoed the measure which Biddle would later refer to as a "manifesto of anarchy". |
Symphony007: lsten to me and listen good."The few who understand the system, will either be so interested from it's profits or so dependant on it's favors, that there will be no opposition from that class." — Rothschild Brothers of London, 1863 Symphony007: But when it becomes crazy is when someone tells me that every world leaders is a puppet working for the banks, or every rich and powerfull person on earth belong to one exclusive secret clut. Or some other ludacris statement. "Give me control of a nation's money and I care not who makes it's laws" — Mayer Amschel Bauer Rothschild "Most Americans have no real understanding of the operation of the international money lenders. The accounts of the Federal Reserve System have never been audited. It operates outside the control of Congress and manipulates the credit of the United States" — Sen. Barry Goldwater (Rep. AR) "This [Federal Reserve Act] establishes the most gigantic trust on earth. When the President [Wilson} signs this bill, the invisible government of the monetary power will be legalized....the worst legislative crime of the ages is perpetrated by this banking and currency bill." — Charles A. Lindbergh, Sr. , 1913 "From now on, depressions will be scientifically created." — Congressman Charles A. Lindbergh Sr. , 1913 "The financial system has been turned over to the Federal Reserve Board. That Board as ministers the finance system by authority of a purely profiteering group. The system is Private, conducted for the sole purpose of obtaining the greatest possible profits from the use of other people's money" -- Charles A. Lindbergh Sr., 1923 "The Federal Reserve banks are one of the most corrupt institutions the world has ever seen. There is not a man within the sound of my voice who does not know that this nation is run by the International bankers — Congressman Louis T. McFadden (Rep. Pa) "Some people think the Federal Reserve Banks are the United States government's institutions. They are not government institutions. They are private credit monopolies which prey upon the people of the United States for the benefit of themselves and their foreign swindlers" — Congressional Record 12595-12603 — Louis T. McFadden, Chairman of the Committee on Banking and Currency (12 years) June 10, 1932 "Whoever controls the volume of money in any country is absolute master of all industry and commerce." — James A. Garfield, President of the United States "A great industrial nation is controlled by it's system of credit. Our system of credit is concentrated in the hands of a few men. We have come to be one of the worst ruled, one of the most completely controlled and dominated governments in the world--no longer a government of free opinion, no longer a government by conviction and vote of the majority, but a government by the opinion and duress of small groups of dominant men." — President Woodrow Wilson "I believe that banking institutions are more dangerous to our liberties than standing armies. Already they have raised up a monied aristocracy that has set the government at defiance. The issuing power (of money) should be taken away from the banks and restored to the people to whom it properly belongs." — Thomas Jefferson, U.S. President. "History records that the money changers have used every form of abuse, intrigue, deceit, and violent means possible to maintain their control over governments by controlling money and it's issuance." — James Madison |
vire: Felix Ibru be him name 1992 SDPannulment election and Ibru was already a billionaire before then ![]() |
vire: One of the Ibru brothers was once a governor of Old Bendel state ok.....i be real urohobo mane no get name? |
vire: you are a dreamer....the line they sold to you is really hooking your throat ......if you dont know i am urohobo too so i know them wella.....you think say na beans to be former Governor and wont get kick backs and use ur connections to pull strings.....even Dangote they lie to you as the cleanest money in Nigeria and africa has in hands in poo......all business men know what i mean.....Which former governor and for which state? Mr. Fake Urhobo Man abi when Ibru turn Ambrose Ali? |
Symphony007: I've learnt after multiple encounters not to argue with conspiracy theorist. It's a fruitless journey. Futhermore you can say the banking sector has protected itself and are major players in the world economy and make their own rules because they have funded campaigns, bought over parties, etc..but to say there is one global ochestrated plan is ludacris.Firstly consider what is it the banks actually offer? The answer is absolutely nothing but worthless paper debt securities. This is not just mere conspiracy theory. Check out the Venus Project and see for yourself viable options of how global resources can be handled without bankers and speculative capitalist traders. You can choose to believe what you want to believe but the system and world as a whole you currently inhabit is teleguided by a few powerful elites. Now that's the red pill and you can flush it down the toilet if it will make you return to your la-la land |
vire: can you tell me one family that didnt make money from this nigerian govt......our system is corrupt enuff ok....so they all made money either by kick backs or straight out corruptionYes the Ibrus. Ibru family is the only true entrepreneurship dynasty we have in Nigeria. The Patriarch Micheal Ibru, started in fisheries and shipping and later branched out into real estate, agriculture, brewing and distilleries . The family owns Guardian, Sheraton Lagos and a host of other ventures including Aero. |
israel007: I wish they would upgrade and boost our confidence by acquiring new aircraft.Aeros problem started with Arik Air not because Arik was better but because Arik is owned by Odili, OBJ and were able to scam the Aviation Authorities by not paying the appropriate tariffs thereby ensuring an unlevel playing field. Sanusi, then came with his own wahala out of pure hatred for the Ibru family. Cecilia obviously messed up but what she did was no different from what other bank executives do which is extending loans on discretion. Aero had the market and the assests to repay whatever loan but Sanusi insisted that the pay a lump sum back within a stipulated time frame as against the original agreement. This led to Aero offering Fare discounts as low as 5,000 naira on advanced bookings. The Airline will surely bounce back. |
AYODEJI4LOVE: so no cause for alarm since there is only 0.1% tendency.......It's not the comet hitting the earth that is the problem but what it will cause when passing within our neighborhood. |
I stumbled upon a thread on an anonymous U.S. based forum decrying how bad things are for this current generation of young Americans. Here are excerpts from that thread: 1. Technological unemployment means more windows close than doors open 2. Globalism/skewed free trade agreements 3. Third world, unskilled immigration increasing labor pool saturation 4. Employers unwilling to train or pay a living wage capable of supporting yourself, never mind a family... even though productivity has increased rapidly in the past 100 years and is still increasing. 6. Baby Boomer generation have trillions of dollars of entitlements 7. Low birth rates 8. Crumbling infrastructure that needs to be replaced 9. White women are loose canon coal burners 10. College is risky, expensive, its high school 2.0 for credentials and infested with Marxists. 11. Yuppies (late 80's to 90's generation) raised Generation Y in broken homes which lowers everything from grades, to mental health, to money earned 12. Governments are corrupt and run by "former" lobbyists, or soon to be lobbyists. 13. The global economy is completely broken 14. Feminized school system destroys boys 15. Divorce is the new "in" thing, your coal burning wife will take your house and car by alimony, and you have to pay for her to live for the rest of her life even if you were only married for 1 second. Many states consider you common law married if you cohabitate for more than 6 months 16. It's getting harder and harder for young people to afford a car, rent and food... never mind bread and circuses. I could not agree more. This generation Y really has it bad. 30 years from now I see the U.S. society looking more like that in the movie Loopers. |
israel007: This a good development.Aero has the best and longest safety track record in Nigeria. If you consider that Aero has been in operation since the mid 50's you will appreciate this record. Aero was also saliently endorsed and recommended by Western Embassies to their citizens as the safest airline to fly. I remember when Aero used to provide free Daily Trust Newspapers on board but were compelled to cancel after several complaints from embassy staff who decried their anti-western views and promotion of fanatic islamic views. The airline was very good. |
Reyginus: What craft are you talking about?disinfo, lies and propaganda |
OYINBOGOJU: The same aero contractor airline that is owned by cecilia Ibru......Aero is not owned by Cecilia Ibru but by the Ibru family who never made a dime from government. Cecilia Ibru messed up in managing Oceanic and Sanusi used the heavy hammer on Aero because they were extended loans by her. This led to Aero nearly going under due to liquidity problems |
grafikii: www.thisdaylive.com/articles/aero-contractors-to-emerge-national-carrier/162232/Aero still remains the most experienced and safest airline to fly. You can blame that goat Sanusi for trying to break the only legit business dynasty in Nigeria headed by the Ibru family |
Reyginus: CNN and BBC true. But Aljazeera, I think you are focusing on the wrong side. Abu Mikey: [quote author=emmysenior]Why not provide evidences to back up ur trivialised point?Al Jazeera showed their craft in Libya and now Syria. Or have you forgotten how their reporter was faking news in Borno with fake Boko Haram sympathizers? They are all of the same feather. You are better of with CCTV news, trust me. |
Symphony007: yes, and just a few days ago. The stenographer of the united states house of representatives ran to the house floor ranting about a new world order, illuminati, freemasons, etc, she has now been comfirmed as partly insane. So no body is insulated for crazyness. They start by discrediting whoever exposes them as being a lunatic. The Red Pill does exist. |
Comet Ison will be visible in broad daylight and will be 15 times brighter than the moon. In it's trail the comet will be followed by large chunks of debris. NASA has been aware of this comet since 1981 but have been silent about it. The only reason you are hearing of it now is because some amateur astronomers stumbled upon it by chance and made their discovery public. You think global climate change is as a result of hydrocarbons? Think again. Of the original signatories of scientists that adopted the view of man-made causes relating to climate change at the IPCC summit, over 70% have withdrawn their endorsement of the later conclusion. Virtually all the energy on earth comes from the Sun. The energy at the earth's core is trapped heat radiation from the sun. Trees and plants convert sunlight to matter which we later burn as wood or coal. Hydrocarbon deposits are from eons of accumulated decayed plants and trees. Hydrocarbon deposits are thus, capacitors of solar energy. Carbon emissions are highly soluble gasses which are readily sequestrated from the atmosphere. To understand climate change we must first look to our main energy source, the Sun. Our Sun has been experiencing unusual activity in the past few years which NASA has been trying desperately to debunk. Our sun is spewing more radiation than ever. Volcanoes, earthquakes have spiked in the last years in both frequencies and intensities and this is as a result of the earth's core absorbing more incoming solar radiation and thus heating and expanding which in turn affects fault lines and deep geological activities over the sea bed and volcanic vents. Why is our Sun heating up? The answer will be as a result of increased gravitational forces within the vicinity of our solar system that can only be linked with an increased total solar system mass. That increased mass is Comet Ison. Comet ISON is destined towards the sun and it gets closer it is expected to accelerate further to a speed of 540,000 Miles per hour! With speeds like that, impacts with trail debris will definitely be spectacular and also catastrophic if larger chunks hit the earth surface. It will be seen as a meteo shower. But how this impact will affect the sun is not clear yet. And the fourth angel sounded, and the third part of the sun was smitten, and the third part of the moon, and the third part of the stars; so as the third part of them was darkened, and the day shone not for a third part of it, and the night likewise." -REVELATION 8:12 Comets are usually composed of dust and ice particles but scientists are yet to pre-determine what makes up ISON. Bacteria, Viruses or deadly toxic radioactive materials may be riding along. |
rman: JONATHANS CONFERENCE IS NOT A '' SOVERIGN NATIONAL CONFERENCE '', HE TERMED IT '' NATIONAL CONFERENCE '' AND MAJORITY OF THOSE AGAINST IT WANTS ''A SOVERIGN NATIONAL CONFERENCE ''.Semantics aside, a National conference will address issues patterning to the country as a whole while a sovereign conference will only address the political structure that binds us as one Nation. A National conference is thus all encompassing. |
Smooyis: Our corrupt legislators will still have to vet it.No they don't. The contentious issues will be slated for a popular vote as in a referendum. The SNC is meant to re-address the flaws inherent in the imposed constitution. The Constitution is not drafted or amended solely by the senate. Check out the opening paragraph of the Constitution wherein it states: We the people of the Federal Republic of NigeriaIt did not say the senate but the people of Nigeria. The constitution is for the people by the people! |
CFCfan: -The Syrian "chemical attack" is a hoax.I can't stand CNN, BBC and Al-Jazeera. They keep relaying b.s. 24/7 jus like the way copped DJ's play rubbish artists to get us to like their music. The world's media just trend lies until it becomes fact. |
Symphony007: Some people just live, breath, eat and thrive on conspiracy theories..new world order my foot. Alex jones has started spreading his lunacy. She has 20yrs working as a senior executive with the World Bank |
sesanrota: Good Point by the comrade Governor himself, its high time the presidency realizes they are most Nigerian youth are graduating each year with little or no Job....its a time bomb.and what is the reason they remain unemployed or unemployable? As long as we shy from the fundamental and root causes Nigeria that continue to ebb us closer to the edge of a failed state, how then can we be able to solve our numerous and increasing problems? Nigeria is not working because Nigeria does not have a working paper. |
CFCfan: ^^It's time for a revolution. Banks are holding down entrepreneurship back with exorbitant lending rates. Bankers connive with crooked politicians in embezzling public loot and the last stock market crash was as a result of crooked insider tradings by banks. |
