You are not alone. Some persons were reimbursed around Late January/Early February.

They got a call and/or email from Nigeria LNG.

I abandon the plan of contacting them because of this.

You are not alone.

On a lighter note. I haven't been reimbursed till now

depressedsoul:
I was born and bred in Lagos Nigeria. i am over 30 but swimming in poverty. i attended a university in Ogun state but i dropped out due to the loss of my mother who happened to be my sponsor back then. My father died before i was 4years old so i had no one to fall back on. I am the only child and life has been so cruel to me. I have no job at hand. My fathers family has taken possession of his property at Agege Lagos because they insist my mother had me for another man due to stories i'm hearing for the first time since my parent's demise. The story of my life is so wide, bitter and depressing. The moral of my epistle is that i need a casual job to survive. I am contemplating suicide at the moment and i almost drank sniper insecticide today. This is my last attempt at survival before i do the needful on my existence. Nairalanders please help me find any legal job be it unskilled labour. I have tried and tried but to no avail. Pardon me for been incoherent. I am a depressed soul waiting to see if my life can have a second chance.

This is not fraud nor scam. if you really want to know how real my story is kindly send me a private message.
RomanceRe: I'm 16+, Can I Have A Boyfriend Now? by Magicc: 2:40pm On Sep 28, 2015
I am very sorry dear.

Please check the meaning of Boyfriend or Girlfriend in the dictionary again.

A boyfriend to a girl means her sex partner.

haibe:
The only sensible post I have read up to this point. . A boyfriend is not necessarily a sex partner. Others were just equating boyfriend to a sex partner. .I mean you can have a boyfriend/girlfriend without the intention to have sex
RomanceRe: I'm 16+, Can I Have A Boyfriend Now? by Magicc: 2:00pm On Sep 28, 2015
Do not enter into a relationship at this age. It is a warning, not a plea.

You are allowed to start a relationship at the penultimate year in the University. If you find the right person.

Doing great exploit academically and in other spheres of life should be your priority. You have all your life to have sex afterwards.

What you are feeling right now is infatuation. There will be,at least, 5 persons that will love you unconditionally in your lifetime. So miss this one, you still have 4 persons left. You have your whole life ahead of you and I hate to see people waste theirs.

Study. Have concrete plans to become successful. This is what you should be doing with your youthful energy.

If you choose to do otherwise, we already know the results of your experiments. Since you wouldn't learn from other people's experience, please come create a thread of your Love Sourjourn (Sojourn when spelt correctly) so other can learn from you. I remember the moniker, I will be searching.

Jobs/VacanciesRe: Will A Master's Degree Improve One's Employment Prospect? by Magicc: 1:27am On Jul 26, 2015
Look at it this way.

You are presently searching for a job, which is costly if you have to travel all the time. Why not apply to do a Master's degree in a city that is a job hub?

As you are studying, you are also searching. God so kind, if you get a good job before the end of the program, you can jettison it for the job. If not, you already have a MSc.

You can add whatever professional qualifications you want as you do the masters or after the program.

It get increasingly difficult to get higher educational qualification as we grow older. It will be wise to do so now.

Also it takes some persons a while to get a job, the program will keep you busy and will help prevent any GAP in your CV. In an interview you will not be asked: "What have you been doing since 2015?"

EducationRe: No Nigerian University Made It To The Top 1000 Universities In The World by Magicc:
The money that the universities get is embezzled by their VCs onto of this!

bushdoc9919:
Because .....no MONEY.

Most of the top universities in the world have lots of money.Money is the root of all evil. It is also what buys you top class facilties, funds research, funds nice libraries, funds nice student digs, funds all those top class sports facilities (the other day, an American college spent 77million dollars on sports facilities.)....and gets you good lecturers.(Lots of the staff at Harvard are Nobel Laureates. Think they came cheap?).

And all those top universities don't come cheap. You pay high fees....up to thousands of dollars every year...to access that top class education (If you are poor need based aid comes in,but that's another tale).

In Nigeria, most universities are lucky to see $10million every year (UCLA sees $250million, Norway' s second largest sees $800million). And government runs most of these universities on limited funding. And fees are kept low.

This leaves many universities looking like malnourished kwashiorkor victims (OK...hyperbole). And we cannot find extra cash for them because your govt has run out of money thanks to our oil dependent economy. And corruption messes things up too....but even if that went, we would still have just a little extra. And we do not have enough lecturers.

So...no money...means no facilities, no books...nothing.

If you want to be in the top 100, even 1000...

1.Privatise the universities. We have no choice.

2.Increase fees.(and taxes) Again no choice.

3.Need based grants for poor students, payable over decades.

4.If 1-3 are not palatable....pray that Buhari finds N10trillion in the next five years just for universities (This years budget for Nigeria was N4 trillion). Or pray we get a diversified economy so that we have the cash

5.If 1-3 are palatable...then redirect funding to the primary, secondary and technical education. We need more technicians really. And it is not a shameful job as some Nigerians think it is.

Sorry Nigerians....but while we need to beat corruption....we also have to make the hard choices. We do not have the money. It costs N150000 yearly to train a undergraduate. Do you have the money?

It is not far better, it is worst.

Only if we had informed people in Nigeria.

Did you not witness Greece refusing IMF bailout. It is an agenda to keep a country perpetually indebted.

Go, look up the story of Iceland and how she saved herself.

Do not ever borrow. Live within your own means.

HealthRe: FUNAAB Says Fishes In Lagos Lagoon Poisonous, Warns Nigerians To Beware by Magicc: 1:54pm On Jul 03, 2015
Are you aware that Lead and Mercury cause mental retardation and slow growth?

Industrial activities in Lagos exposes Lagosians to heavy metal poisoning. It is common knowledge that
safety procedures are not observed in most industries working in Nigeria.
Industrial activities generate waste that need to be disposed of. Where do they dump all the waste water? In the sea or lagoon.

omodayomi:
hi, please, how dare u confusing people on unrealistic and baseless information on solid metallic found in fish at epe is poisonous have u forgotten that solid metals are also present in soil or u don't know of decomposition. come to think about it, grounding machine that everybody used for grinding/milling pepper is not made of metals in solid form or tell me lubrication of metal during d process where are iron fillings go to, tell is not in your stomach directly?

DDo reply me because your findings or information is nothing but barbaric and misleading.

when you are talking about solid metals inside flowing river that was ingested by fishing is poisonous to man and am very sure that research was not from FUNNAB.
Am waiting for your reply because all what you have mentioned is nothing but lazy man research go on and make some further studies on different forms of metallic existence and its benefit to man because am also a food technologist that have a good knowledge on what u are trying to say but your presentation is totally off the the points.
HealthRe: FUNAAB Says Fishes In Lagos Lagoon Poisonous, Warns Nigerians To Beware by Magicc: 1:50pm On Jul 03, 2015
You have to understand that the fishes will not die.
If fishes absorb contaminants, they are stored in the fishes' tissues.
If eaten, the poisonous substance is taken in by the consumer.
No matter how long you fry, it is still there- the poison.

PoliticsRe: I’m Contesting Against Two-and-half People – Agbaje Mocks Tinubu, Fashola, ambode by Magicc: 12:12am On Feb 02, 2015
Yes non-Lagosians are being treated differently. I happen to know the Winner of the maiden edition of "the one day Governor thing" but he was denied the scholarship overseas because he was not a Yoruba person.
[quote author=MayorofLagos post=30335

Interpretation: Agbaje will be a tool for much experienced PDP political godfathers to push around while he is learning on the job.

Lagos State has never discriminated against non-indigenes. If Lagos State has deported Ibos, it has equally deported Yorubas and Hausas. Sanitation exercise in Lagos is a legacy....way back in the times of Lagos City Council and its no-nonsense health inspectors (wole-wole). The tradition ceased after the reformation of the municipality and relocation of State capital. 1984, under Buhari regime and the new WAI mandates, Lagos State picked backup on community sanitation exercise. In his remark above Agbaje tacitly made reference to Ladipo auto parts market. The traders at Ladipo were flagrant violators of laws to which every community in Lagos is expected to abide by. They were warned severally and the consequence of continued violations were laid before them. Their contention was as Nigerians they were free to live anywhere and operate their business in the manner they deemed fit with no unecessary supervision from anyone. This is why they were shut down.

Agbaje is inferring at this rally staged for Ibos that it was wrong for the State Government to regulate sanitation or trade or community welfare and well being.

This is the wrong guy to have as Governor in Lagos. This guy should go and seek gubernatorial office in Iboland where they want to trade free of regulation and supervision.

In Lagos, we have laws and customs....no one is exempted and in contrary to Agbaje's sermon, Lagos State does not discriminate in its social policies....it treats everyone fairly and is not shy od telling people to their face to get the hell out and return to their village if they are unwilling to live by its rule.

Kick Agbaje to the side.
Help me vote Ambode for GOVERNOR OF LAGOS.

If they ask who said so, tell them Mayor did!
PoliticsRe: Buhari To Speak Wednesday Over His Qualification For Election by Magicc: 2:47am On Jan 21, 2015
Let me clarify the fraud here. You need an SSCE, NBTE, GCE etc certificate to get into the Army or University. If you become a university graduate or an army general without satisfying this requirement means there was an anomaly/corruption in the admission process. If this is spotted out, you are withdrawn from the university or stripped of your certificate if already issued.

Genius100:
Really? Are you this daft? So the waec certificate, bachelor's and masters degrees for all the people that skipped primary 6 to go to secondary school and therefore do not have a primary school leaving certificate is null and void?
PoliticsRe: Buhari To Speak Wednesday Over His Qualification For Election by Magicc: 2:40am On Jan 21, 2015
Mr man what are you saying? Millions of people got into academic institutions but some dropped out. So because you enrolled into a university and then you drop out, you have the equivalent of a university degree? I think people should begin to think straight.
atbu1983:
The 1999 constitution does not require a certificate. The principal report and recommendation is enough evidence of education to school certificate level. WAEC is just one of the prove but not d only prove. because WAEC needs evidence of ur education b4 you can write WAEC. Again all one needs to have a waec certificate is just one D8 ot P8
