Teck, where u've been bruv? thx for the info anyway |
Both's got the best delivery i've ever felt from a naija artist but still M.I. is more on point than Naeto C. flow's off the hook . . M.I. spices his lyrics wit so much swagger that it leaves all wonderin what kind of guy he really is. "I'm not sayin i'm the best, i'm just asking who's better" DAMN! one of my fav. line from any naija rapper- very Simple to comprehend. Then i was scared Naeto might be better because they had so many similarities and last year when i listened to BABY GIRL on Jimmy's Mixtape . . Naeto C was better than M.I. on that track but when i heard SAFE by M.I. i knew Naeto was 'gon face defeat this time. One thing i noticed about this dude is that his name plays are often popular people in Nigeria unlike every other rapper who's stuck on referring to foreign acts. As for both albums, i never bought a Naeto C's album despite the fact that i like his kind of songs. Before his track "u know my p" was officially released i already had the video as a ringtone from youtube. I listened carefully to every track in that album and must admit i still find some very boring. If i get one more copy of M.I.'s album "Talk about it" then i should have purchased 4 copies. I already got one for myself then 2 others for friends and they are really diggin the dude's style. His rap pattern comes in so many enjoyable forms; from JEHOVAH to TEASER to FAST MONEY FAST CARS where he toyed wit words. Big Ups M.I. The truth is Naeto C's swag is defined, M.I.'s re-defined. |
Unstoppable all the way. Tubaba can be so unpredictable cuz his style is unique and diversified ![]() |
ooh ohhh what a reunion. Merry Xmas y'all but meanwhile me got this one. Sup Menike, glad to see u around. Naijafan, my nutty teacher Repsect E'ry1 |
hip hop is it nd i'm doing it for the team, ancient city of benin that's where this boy's been a 5 star general 'Malc be like a millitary lyrically, armed like federal forces in vicinities got mad love for the game that is why i'm keepin it only reason u hate is because you truly feeling me i know most of ya be wishin u is really me but am far above ur status a first class discipline i'm keepin this on the low then further pick up the pace i reside in the same place where hip hop is base many people contemplate like they too good for the basics send them back to elementary and get em skooled from me pages get notes from these lessons like carols in ur churches i still wouldn't come lame even wit a pair of clutches you don't want beef then squash it, those uncalled for grudges i come more deadly than u getting locked wit 12 clifford orji's |
%%%% don't want to get caught btw ur battle so i had to repost this %%%% |
Watch out, my punches are (Dead Lee)/deadly like Bruce and Brandon.agghhhhh ! ! ! TKO . . paramedics pls. Sauron take it easy oh. |
Chei! when will this whole rugged - mode chapter end? i love both rappers in their different ways. I can't imagine modenine trying to do ruggedman's kind of songs or vice versa. They are doin perfectly well in their own unique way so i'll be forced to lay the blame on whoever started beefing! Mode's album is really okay with tracks like Nine, Deathblow and very few others but i still prefer his previous one and even his mixtapes. Modenine's state is critical nd it is really sad that only few of us easily relates with his rap style, lyrics and would want to see him in a show but on the other hand to the mass majority of Nigerians, Modenine is a big APOLOGY. There was a time he performed in Benin and any passerby or a new music fanatic would easily mistake him for a 'New Boring Act" actin like an American rapper 'cause of the no-crowd-response only about 15 of us were really feeling his vibes. If Mode is to spit on a track wit a 'secular' beat, i bet he'll still come dope and on point. No doubts, Mode has already earned his respect as a master lyricist and no one can take that away from him. Deathblow is a killer song and if Ruggedman manages to survive it he should totally ignore mode and mind his business but on the other hand i think Rugged's got an upper hand considerin some reasons. If he wants to reply, he better continue wit his one-two funny rhymes for his own good otherwise he might end up messing his own career tryin to b'come hard like mode. Facts be told, i don't see Mode ending rugged's career wit his superb lyrics but i think it is very possible for Rugged to chase Mode out of Naija to maybe UK to continue his career. like OverDose will tell ya DON'T HATE, i only painted this picture from my own perspective. |
joedee:Rflmao . . . Joedee oooooooooo My expertise regarding Nigerian rap extends to just two artists, D’banj and 2Face Idibia, who I checked out for the August Consumer Guide. Apart from the Toronto rapper K’naan, who spent the first decade or so of his life in Mogadishu and got his shit together in Toronto, I’ve never found an African rap artist who really sustains, and I’ve looked. D’banj, who I Dudded, and 2Face Idibia, who I decided to skip because the album I found was two-three years old, are pretty typical: nothing special in the flow, lyrics, or especially beats, which I mean in both the “rhythm” and “music” sense of that elastic term. African hip-hop, including the good stuff, tends toward derivative r&b derivatives with spoken vocals—beatmaking in the American sense doesn’t seem to happen there Basically, ur proof nd view is proove-less as well as view-less . How you expect say little wayne go look for beef come Naija, wetin happen to USA?. Please save ur sef the favour of straining ur fingers typin clueless clues Also, how does 'hair' relates with roots (Origin)? omg!. Sry if u feel offended by this post afterall i felt the same (for Wayne) when i saw urs. Have a splendid weekend. ![]() |
Timaya is very talented but i still wonder why he is limiting himself to his present kind of songs. It is either "Bad Belle people want make i kpai!" today or "Dem call me Timaya" tomorrow. Early 2007 or there about when he came to benin for a show, i met him at a friend's boutique holding a bottle of Red Label, **definately drinking from it** he did a very funny freestyle wit the red label Dayum ! it was really cool nd we were almost dancin to it. Timaya has got mad vibes dat most Nigerians desire so his first album was a total success. OR maybe he is still carried away by his achievements and his sudden fame. He deserves the hype 'cause he never rubbed shine off any "main" artist like 2face or Dbanj to get cheap or easy fame but right now he is blazin hot. Maybe Timaya is a man of himself, he believes so much on his skillz and this has really helped him. I love his first album nd presently addicted to this second one. |
His Album is out nw! Timaya still on Fire . . . . from Track 1 all the way to 14 is da bomb. Same pattern of songs except track 13 (Rap Timaya) lol been bumpin my head for dayz now. uhmmm my fav. is either of track 2, 4, 9, 8 i'm confused sef ![]() |
