WIKE DEMOLISHED A BUILDING USED FOR KIDNAPPING, PROSTITUTION AND MEETING VENUE OF UNSCRUPULOUS CHARACTERS.

Meanwhile, state officials initially sent to shut the place down due to COVID-19 were shot and maimed. Such lawless places used to love-vendor women and refuse to obey the laws of the state should be confiscated and removed.

I STAND WITH WIKE's MORAL LEADERSHIP!
Another spin doctor. These are lies being peddled because these stories started with the Hotel being owned by A Native Of Eleme, which was a lie. So obviously, they fed you guys with lies. You ran with the lies, blinding yourselves to the truth and supporting a crime against a person.

There's this write-up I read this morning and the writer said anybody that is not satisfied with Gov Wike's action should first visit Alode in Eleme. That the owner of the hotel is also a native of the village where the hotel stands.

2. The owner also double as the PDP Youth Leader. Do yöu think Wike would not have considered him if there is not much?
You can see you people are hell bent on running around with lies and blinding yourselves to the truth. The owner of the Hotel, (Prodest) is not a native of even Eleme. He is an Ogoni Man. Yes, the owner was in Lagos but his voice was well represented.
Ask yourself this, is it the only hotel in the state?!
There are more than 3000 hotels in there and they all obeyed except our hotel.
If you got the balls to disobey the law then you should have the balls to bear the brunts.
You earlier typed the owner ordered his boys to beat up the tax force. Now you are saying he was well represented. Does that not show big holes in your comments and you clearly are trying to defend evil.

From the point raised by SAN Femi Falana, does it not prove Wike is wrong? There is no need bringing in kitchen gossips from rumour mongers to try and justify evil.

The demolition of Prodest Hotel is forced evictions and in violation of article 11 of the International Covenant on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights and other human rights treaties to which Nigeria is a state party,” SERAP disclosed via its official Twitter handle.

When you read the words of the SAN, there is no way Wike is right. But, we get even lawyers defending Wike breaking the law, claiming people should Obey laws.

If people blatantly support a wrong action, the person that made the mistake will feel he is right and continue in the wrong path.

People should shun party, tribal or religious affiliations and always stand by the truth. If not the country will remain in its irredeemable position.

Babra Laurilliard reportedly died at a hotel with her alleged boyfriend in Okuokoko in Okpe Local Government Area of Delta State, DAILY POST reports.

The deceased came into Nigeria on the invitation of her boyfriend who kept her in a hotel in Warri before transferring her to another hotel where she died, it was learned.

It was gathered that before the deceased’s death she coughed profusely and had difficulty in breathing and stooling.

Who shall we blame for Bolded. NCDC is the federal government agency responsible for handling this coronavirus pandemic and it is shocking they never considered Rivers important enough to have a test centre for over 2months after the Italian, the index case. They kept playing politics and avoiding Rivers.

Wike was on air asking the FG to assist other states of the federation it mustn't be only Ogun and Lagos and FCT. Rivers is a critically important state in Nigeria, yet nothing happened by way of test facility not until Shell provided 2 test machines and then Total E&P provided 1.

When they heard the IOCs had provided Machines, they flew from Abuja to come and launch it. Such irresponsible people. Trust Wike, he seized the machines and NCDC were then forced to provide one for use in UPTH, alongside the one of Total E&P. The machines at UPTH have a test capacity of 50test daily

The two provided by Shell, initially seized by Wike is now used at BMH test centre. BMH has a test capacity of 240 test daily

The FG hates Rivers State, we hate then back!!!
The NCDC have been a draw back but are we going to agree to ourselves that Wike can not get money from the State coffers to mobilise the Rivers State Ministry of Health to secure mobile testing labs?

We can blame NCDC from today until tomorrow but Wike who is claiming defender of the State. Overactive Governor and the safety of the people. So, if the NCDC refuse to bring, Wike would fold his arms and allow people die.

I hope other companies rise up to source mobile labs with higher testing capacities.

Total E & P, after all the praise singing, Rivers STATE still lacks behind in testing capacity. The earlier the better, source mobile testing labs to begin aggressive testing in the rural area of the State to prevent a breakout.

Lockdown means nothing without testing, isolating and treating infected ones.

How much sample tests have been done in Rivers State to determine if th virus is spreading or not.

Do a random sample survey first before praising Wike.

If not for Shell, there would be no test centre in Rivers State today and you tag this kind of action proactive.

Lockdown means nothing without testing, isolating and treating infected ones.

The Socio-Economic Rights and Accountability Project (SERAP) has condemned the demolition of hotels in Rivers by the state government.

The civic group also threatened to take legal action against the state governor, Nyesom Wike describing the demolition of as illegal.

“We condemn the reported demolition of Prodest Hotel by Gov Wike, Rivers State. Using COVID-19 to perpetrate human rights violations is executive rascality and Mr Wike must stop this now.

“We’re taking legal action to hold him and his government to account for illegal actions.

“The demolition of Prodest Hotel is forced evictions and in violation of article 11 of the International Covenant on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights and other human rights treaties to which Nigeria is a state party,” SERAP disclosed via its official Twitter handle.

The Rivers State Government had earlier on Sunday demolished two hotels in the state allegedly for violating the lockdown order in the state.

Governor Wike personally supervised the demolition of the structures in the company with some government officials.

The affected hotels are Prodest Hotel in Alode and Etemeteh Hotel in Onne – both in Eleme Local Government Area (LGA) of the State.
